After launching a few audio products, Nothing is planning to launch smartphones soon. The company officially confirmed the same at the global event today (Wednesday) and the smartphone will be known as Nothing Phone (1). Notably, this is the second product by the company.

Founder Carl Pei also revealed that the Nothing Phone will be launched this Summer, which means the device will be available from June and September. However, several reports claim that the device will be available in April and there is no specific date and month has been shared by any report.

Nothing Upcoming Phone: Details

It is worth noting that the Nothing Phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platform; however, the exact chipset has not been shared by the company. In case, the company is eyeing premium customers, then the device might have Snapdragon 800 series processor.

Additionally, the company announced that the upcoming smartphone will have Nothing OS on top of Android. Plus, there are high chances that it will have Android 12 OS like other devices that are launching in the country.

“Nothing OS captures the best features of pure Android, distilling the operating system to just the essentials, where every byte has a purpose. It is designed to deliver a fast, smooth, and personal experience. A coherent interface, the hardware seamlessly integrates with software through bespoke fonts, colours, graphical elements, and sounds,” the company said.

Nothing Raised Money

Apart from the founder of the company announced that it has raised $144 million. “Having raised $144M, built a team of over 300 people, and secured support from trusted partners like Qualcomm Technologies, Inc, we are ready for a phone (1) to mark the start of change for the sleepy smartphone market,” said Carl Pei.

He also said, “We are also doing a new $10M round of community investment so that our supporters get the chance to be part of our journey going head to head against the giants of the industry.”

In fact, there are high chances that the company will bring its second 5G smartphone along with other products in the coming month. Hot 11 2022 Expected Specifications, Price, And Other Details

As per all leaks, the device will have a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display, octa-core UniSoC T700 processor that is coupled with Mali G52 GPU.

The device will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Plus, the upcoming smartphone will feature a 48MP primary camera along with an 8MP camera for selfies. The Hot 11 2022 is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery unit along with 18W fast charging support.

The upcoming device is expected to be priced under Rs. 10,000 and likely to have centered punch-hole selfie camera. The device will be available in three colour options: Sunset Gold, Polar Black, and Aurora Green.

The smartphone will have AI modes and flash on the back panel. There will be a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom along with a Type-C port for the charging. Furthermore, the company’s CEO Anish Kappor has also shared a video from his official Twitter account.

The video showcases that the device will have a holographic design at the back panel. Additionally, the smartphone will feature flat side frames and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner feature.

In fact, a short video of the upcoming smartphone has been shared by the company’s CEO, Anish Kapoor.

The short clip, which is available on the official account of the company’s CEO, shows that the back panel will have a holographic design. Besides, the company has shared the first look of the device and it seems that the Hot 11 2022 will have flat edges along with a glossy finish at the back.

Plus, the base model of the device is expected to be available for under Rs. 10,000 and might give tough competition to the Redmi 10 and Realme C-series that are available in the budget segment.

The Inifinx Hot 11 2022 will have a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfies along with flat edges. Besides, the device will carry a sizeable bezel below the screen, whereas the power button, volume rocker, and fingerprint sensor will be placed on the right side of the smartphone.

Notably, all three smartphone variants come with 80W fast charging support. These devices will go on sale in China from March 30.

On the other hand, the Realme GT Neo 3’s 150W variant and 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,599 is close to Rs. 31, 100. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at CNY 2,799, which is close to Rs. 33,500.
