iQoo To Launch Two New Smartphones On January 5th, 2022: See Here Details

iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo is all set to launch a new smartphone in its home market on January 5th, 2022. The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro will be available in China first on the same day. Besides, iQOO shared an image that iQoo 9 will have one colour option.

Besides, a tipster shared several pictures of the upcoming smartphones suggesting the design of the devices. However, there is no information about the launch of the smartphone in India.

The poster shows that the iQOO 9 will have a white patterned finish along with aracing stripes. In addition, the back will have a rectangle visor and both iQOO 9 and 9 Pro might carry similar design philosophies. Also, the poster reveals that devices will be launched on January 5th 2022.

The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro will be the flagship devices and are expected to bring high-end specifications and features to the smartphone market. Both will feature Snapgradon 8 Gen 1 processor and 120W fast charging support.

The iQOO 9 is likely to have a 120Hz 2K AMOLED panel, dual-pressure shoulder buttons, an improved heat management design, and a second-generation independent display chip. On the other hand, the iQOO9 Pro is likely to have a micro-gimbal PTZ camera along with a 4,700 mAh battery.

iQOO5 U5 Sale On January 1st, 2022

It is worth noting that the iQOO U5 has been listed in China and will be available on January 1st. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. On the other hand, iQOO Neo5S and Neo5 SE are powered by the Snapdragon 800 series processors.

Notably, the iQOO U5 is the successor of the iQOO U3 in China. The iQOO U5 comes with a 50MP dual camera set up, Snapdragon 695 processor, 5,000 mAh battery, 18W fast charging support, and 120Hz AMOLED. Additionally, there will be three models, i.e 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM.

The device is priced at CNY 1,299, CNY 1,399, and CNY 1,499. However, in India, the smartphone will be priced at Rs. 15, 327, Rs. 16, 505, and Rs. 17, 685 respectively.

“Our portfolio is ready but initially we will be launching one device,” the company’s CEO, Anish Kapoor informed in the interaction. The company is also discussing with telecom operators for the 5G trials.

Meanwhile, Reliance Jio announced that it has conducted trials of connected robotics on its 5G Radio Access Network and 5G Standalone core network. “This underlines the true potential of 5G Standalone networks in realizing real-life industrial use cases,” said Aayush Bhatnagar, Senior Vice President of Jio.

“Jio 5G Robotics has implemented a wide canvas of services – From heavy lifting and logistics at manufacturing warehouses to healthcare robots assisting medical staff – from remote ultrasound enablement to industrial automation,” Bhatnagar shared via his LinkedIn post.

Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone-Idea have announced revised prepaid plans for their customers. These telecom operators have announced these revisions as all want to reduce the burden on their financial books and to increase their revenue from their prepaid plans.

However, it should be noted that all telecom operators have decreased the benefits with entry-level plans. In fact, Vodafone-Idea has stopped providing SMS benefits with the basic packs. This is why Reliance Jio has asked TRAI to take action against this strategy as customers need SMS service for port out to the services of other telecom operator services.

On the other hand, India’s second-largest telecom operator has started providing SMS benefits with Rs.99 plan, which is again the most affordable pack.
