Maruti Suzuki has stated taking pre-registrations for the e Vitara. Maruti had previously confirmed the e Vitara will be sold in two different battery pack options. Also, the first e-SUV from the company will be sold via new exclusive premium dealerships in the country. The price range for the e-Vitara is anticipated to start under Rs. 20 lakh. And it’s expected to rival models like the Creta EV and the Nexon, Curvv EV in the country.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Battery, Range, Features

Maruti will be launching three trims of e Vitara including Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. This first e-SUV from the brand will come with FWD drivetrain with the Delta variant featuring a smaller 48.8 kWh battery, while the Zeta and Alpha will sport a bigger 61.4 kWh battery pack. Ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, power-adjustable driver seat, reclining seats, and auto-dim IRVM are some of the features it will offer. Safety dynamics on the e-Vitara will be handled by 360° camera, seven airbags, and ADAS Level 2 suite.

Tata Sierra EV Spy Shots Emerge

Tata Sierra EV’s latest spy shots clicked during its testing shows the familiar design as the concept previewed last year and the production-spec unit revealed during the Auto Expo 2025 event. Tata has opted for a bold boxy design approach for the Sierra EV with the fascia integrating big square-shaped LED headlamps. The leaked images also reveals the wider air dam which will likely be accommodating the RADAR/ LiDAR sensors.

Sierra EV’s snapshots further also gives a subtle hint of the side profile where we can see the flush-fitted door handles. This test mule snapshots of the Sierra EV shows the e-SUV wrapped heavily in camouflage, hence only the glimpse of the door handle type is captured. Additionally, we can see it sitting on large tyre profiles featuring new alloy wheels set.

Additional insight revealed by the new test mule leak of the Sierra EV is the shark fin antenna integrated on the rear spoiler. The LED tail lamps are also visible along with the licence plate mounted on the rear bumper. The overall bulky and bold stance of the Sierra EV seems to be the major design highlight.

Honda Activa e has dual trims with the standard variant carrying a price tag of Rs. 1.17 lakh (ex showroom), while the higher-spec RoadSync model is priced at Rs. 1.51 lakh (ex showroom). Both Activa e standard and the RoadSync models comes equipped with a dual swappable battery module (1.5 kWh each) offering a claimed range of up to 102 km per charge.

On the other hand, the QC1 is a trimmed down version of the Activa e featuring a fixed battery setup of 1.5 kWh capacity. It is claimed to offer up to 80 km of range on a single battery charge. The Honda QC1 carries a lower price tag than the Activa e at Rs. 90,000 (ex showroom).
