Revolt RV1 is amongst the most affordable electric motorcycles that have set its foot on the Indian soil. Launched last week, the new Revolt e-motorcycle has received massive interests from the customers. The company has announced it has logged over 16,000 bookings within just a week of the launch of the RV1 e-motorcycle.

In a statement, Anjali Rattan, CEO of RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd. said, “We are deeply humbled by the unprecedented demand for the RV1. This monumental response not only strengthens our resolve but inspires us to continue leading the charge in India’s electric mobility revolution.” She further added, “The RV1 was designed with the everyday Indian commuter in mind, and to witness its acceptance at such a massive scale within a week is both thrilling and rewarding.”

Revolt RV1 E-Motorcycle Variants, Pricing, Top Features

Revolt has launched the RV1 in two trims including the standard RV1 and the RV1+. The former packs a 2.2 kWh battery, while the latter comes equipped with a bugger 3.24 kWh battery option. Both RV1 e-motorcycle models feature a 2kW motor and can reach up to 160 km on a full charge. A chain drive setup is used by the both RV1 and the RV1+ variants. As for the price range, the standard RV1 has Rs. 85,000 starting price, whereas, the RV1+ comes with Rs. 1.02 lakh price tag.

India-bound Kia EV9 Delivery Timeline And Booking Details

The Kia EV9 will be amongst the top-tier electric SUV marking its debut on October 3 in India. The 3-row all electric SUV will be launched with a premium price range. It will be brought in via the CBU import route which explains the expected higher price range. That said, the EV9’s deliveries are said to commence starting March 2025, but the exact date is not announced as of now.

It is also being reported that the EV9’s pre-booking have also started in India. But the catch here is that the reservations for the ultra-premium Kia electric SUV is being taken unofficially at select dealerships. Customers who are interested in buying the EV9 will have to do the pre-registrations by paying a token amount of Rs. 10 lakh. The e-SUV is expected to be launched in multiple color options but the battery pack option will be single.

Kia EV9 Specifications And Features Revealed So Far

Kia will be bringing the EV9’s 99.8 kWh battery variant which will offer a dual motor AWD setup. The upcoming e-SUV will deliver 384 PS power and up to 700 Nm of peak torque. It is said to offer up to 561 km ARAI-certified range with the battery getting a refuel from 10-80 percent within 24 minutes using the 350 kW fast charger.

The Kia EV9 will be employing a 12.3-inch integrated display doubling up for both infotainment and MID. There will be whole range of advanced features including safety features such as Level 2 ADAS with lane assist and blind-spot collision alert, adaptive cruise control, and more.

LML Star Electric Scooter Trademarked: What All Is Revealed?

LML has filed the patent for its first electric scooter, i.e, the Star EV. The brand has filed the patent for its design which have been leaked online. It is being said that LML has teamed up with Saera Electric Auto Private Limited (SEAPL) to revive the Star electric scooter’s moniker.

It is worth mentioning that LML had showcased the Star electric scooter in the concept form back in 2023. However, no word regarding its development were revealed by the brand. Nevertheless, the latest patent images shows the same design approach it gets as the concept variant showcased during the Auto Expo 2023.

The LML Star will be a maxi-style e-scooter with futuristic design elements. The flat floorboard is also seen in the patent drawings. With dual-tone LED DRLs and photosensitive headlamps, the Star electric scooter looks all futuristic in terms of its style statement. The grab handle at the rear for the pillion will also be present. Hyundai Creta EV Snapped With Better Dynamics

Hyundai Creta Ev’s newest test mule has been snapped getting tested on the streets of Hyderabad. While the test mule of the EV is seen heavily wrapped, the curves and silhouettes have been observed. The overll profile seem to be updated with the improvements likely providing an improved dynamics.

The snapshots of the Creta EV have captured the aero-cut alloy wheels which will help with reduced air drag ultimately helping with improved range. The LED DRL cutouts have been snapped too. The charging port mounted at the centre of the front panel corroborates with the previously leaked spy images.

Another clarification that comes from the new test mule images is the front axle mounted motor setup. The rear and side profile of the Creta EV is similar to what we have seen in the past. Cabin design and features of the Creta EV will be identical to the ICE model which means we will might see ventilated front seats, dual screen setup for infotainment and MID, and 4-dot steering wheel. BYD eMAX 7 Pre-Bookings India: Token Amount, Offers

The BYD eMAX 7 electric MPV is now up for pre-orders in India. The official registrations for the next BYD electric MPV are open online at the company’s website. Those interested can log in to the BYD India website and pre-reserve the eMax by paying Rs. 51,000 token amount. Byers can also pay a visit to a nearby authorized BYD dealership to pre-reserve the eMax 7.

Just to recap, the launch for the eMax 7 has been set for October 8, 2024. Deliveries are expected to commence in March next year. Speaking of the bonus offers, BYD India has announced a free 7 kW charger on the pre-bookings of the eMax 7 albeit with a limitation. Only the first 1,000 customers will get this free charger with the eMax 7 purchase.

BYD eMax 7 will be an all electric MPV with roomy cabin and an all LED head/tail lamp setup. The panoramic glass roof, ventilated seats, 360-camera, ADAS are some of the top features that it will come with.

BYD sells the M6 (eMax 7) with two battery options outside India. While it isn’t confirmed which variant will be introduced in the country, the 78kWh battery variant is said to be India-bound. But we should wait for BYD to confirm the specs.

Notably, during the launch, Ather was offering this smart helmet at an introductory price of Rs. 12,999. The offer price for the Halo half face helmet has been set at Rs. 4,999.

That said, with the latest price drop of Rs. 3,000, the Halo smart helmet will be up for grabs at just Rs. 9,999. This lower costing does make it an exciting deal considering the range of smart tech features along with safety you get with this helmet.

But wait, if you are making up your mind to buy the Ather Halo smart helmet with the discounted price then there’s a catch. Ather has announced the new price drop deal only for the early bird consumers. This means the customers who had done the pre-bookings for the Halo smart helmet will have to pay just Rs. 9,999. Other consumers will have to buy this helmet with the standard pricing.

Hyundai Inster EV Rugged Version Spotted

Hyundai seems have started working on the rugged variant of the recently launched Inster EV. The compact EV as seen in the test mule images can be seen with the same additional accessories as the high-end Ioniq EV’s rugged model. The add ons primarily include robust bumpers both up fromt and the rear.

The Inster EV rugged version will also feature larger wheels and alloys as per the leaked snaps. The overall approach hints an off-roader capable compact EV that could take on some extreme terrains. There are reports indicating the Inster XRT moniker for this rugged variant. However, we would suggest to wait for the official announcements regarding the same.

Hyundai Intser EV Rugged Variant Powertrain

We are not sure if the Inster EV’s rugged variant will be launched with a dual battery pack as the standard model or it will be introduced with a just single battery pack option. To recap, the Inster EV has gone official with a 42 kWh abd a 49 kWh battery option.

The base model of the Inster EV with the smaller battery pack produces 96 bhp of peak power, while the higher-spec model offers up to 113 hp of peak power. The former can reach up to 100 kmph top speed, while the latter reaches up to 150 kmph. The range delivered by the Inster EV is up to 355 kmph. But with the rugged version it could differ.
