Tata Tiago EV August 2024 Discount Deals

As a part for August 2024 discount, Tata has axed the prices of the Tiago EV which is another recent EV model from the brand. The Punch EV’s XT Long Range model has received a green bonus of Rs. 50,000. On the other hand, the Medium Range variant of the Punch EV gets a basic discount of Rs. 10,000.

There is also additional bonus for the top-end Long Range models which starts at Rs. 25,000 and goes up to Rs. 40,000. That’s not it, on the Tiago MY2023 stocks the company is offering an extra Rs. 15,000 bonus. That said, the Tata Tiago EV is amongst the top affordable electric hatchback which has a starting price of Rs. 7.99 lakh with the top model being priced at Rs. 11. 89 lakh in India.

Tata Punch EV has received a limited discount when compared to the Nexon EV and the Tiago EV. The Punch EV can be purchased with benefits of up to Rs. 30,000 across all variants. Tata Nexon EV August 2024 Discount Deals

Tata has announced lucrative deals on the Nexon EV post Curvv EV’s launch in the country. The company is offering a whopping up to Rs. 1.80 lakh price cut for the Nexon EV’s top end variant (Empowered + LR model). That’s not it, the company is also offering deals on the remaining Nexon EV variants which includes a green bonus that ranges from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 1.20 lakh.

The company is additionally giving Rs. 20,000 bonus for the Creative+ MR variant. On the MY2023 units of the Nexon EV, Tata has announced an additional green bonus of Rs. 25,000. This deal will be applicable on all MY2023 variants.

As mentioned previously, this latest discount deal launched for the Nexon EV is a limited period offer which is valid only till August 2024. To recap, the Nexon EV comes with an asking price of Rs. 14.49 lakh in India with the top model being priced at around Rs.19.49 lakh.

Tata Nexon EV Key Highlights

Tata Nexon EV is loaded with a 30.2 kWh and 40.5 kWh battery options with the former offering up to 325 km ARAI-certified range and the latter delivering 465 km range. The Nexon EV low-end mode produces 129 hp of power and 215 Nm of peak torque, whereas, the high-end model produces 145 hp of peak power and same 215 Nm of peak torque.

Tata Curvv EV Design: Exteriors, Interiors

The Tata Curvv EV final production variant has a curved coupe-style design. It appears the Curvv EV borrows certain design elements from the Nexon while retaining a fresh coupe-style. The Curvv EV fascia includes connected LED DRLs with welcome and goodbye sequential. The closed-off front grill differentiates the EV from the ICE model. Side profile has new set of alloys and flush-fit style door handles. The rear profile also has sleek LED DRLs and tail lamp.

The Curvv EV’s interiors are are rather minimalistic. The cabin features a large infotainment screen at the center of the dashboard along with a digital display for the driver. The Curvv EV has a panoramic sunroof and electronically adjustable driver seat as well. The cabin will also offer wireless charger and include six air bags and Level 2 ADAS security features.

Tata has launched the Curvv EV with a 123 kW electric motor. The latest e-SUV from Tata is announced with dual battery pack options which includes a smaller 45 kWh battery and a bigger 55 kWh battery pack model. The Curvv EV’s base model will offer up to 502 km range, while the high-end model will deliver up to 585 km range per charge.

These are ARA-certified range figures which Tata has revealed. The Curvv EV will make a sprint of 0- 100 kmph within 8.6 seconds and will come with both V2L and V2V capabilities. The Curvv EV comes powered by a 123 kW motor which enables an impressive acceleration from 0-100 kph in just 8.6 seconds. The E-SUV gets two battery pack options- a 55 kWh and a 45 kWh. Additionally, the Curvv EV has V2V and V2L capabilities and multi-mode regen with paddle shifters.

Tata Curvv EV Price In India

2025 Mahindra XUV 400 Electric Test Mule Images Leak

Mahindra is apparently working on another electric SUV which will possibly launch by 2025 in India. The rumor mill has received the snapshots of the XUV400 electric’s updated version. The XUV 400 electric 2025 model is the alleged model which has been spied during its test runs.

The 2025 XUV 400 electric SUV’s leaked spy video which has been shared by user going by PowerStroke PS handle on Youtube. The video shows the camouflaged XUV 400 EV model sporting an identical design as the recently revamped XUV300, i.e., the XUV 3XO. The XUV400 EV has been carrying forward XUV300’s design in an all electric avatar.

The same is expected with the 2025 XUV 400 EV. As seen with the test mule, the 2025 XUV 400 which has almost the similar fascia and side profile. However, the closed-off front-grille which is an EV specific design element is expected with the 2025 XUV 400 electric model. The charging port is spotted on the front left quarter panel of the updated XUV 400 electric model. The test mule is also seen with 17-inch alloy wheels.

Maruti Suzuki eVX Test Mule With Production-Ready Body Parts Snapped

Maruti Suzuki eVX is one of the highly awaited mid-sized EVs in the Indian market. The upcoming electric SUV has been snapped recently wearing production-read body parts. While being covered in camouflage, the eVX’s test mule gives a distinctive look of the exteriors highlighting the production-ready body parts. Starting with its fascia, the Maruti eVX’s latest test mule is seen with a dual LED DRL along with projector headlamps. This is one of the unique design approaches that Maruti has opted for the eVX.

Besides, the test mule has been snapped with an all-curvy stance which looks classic yet premium. Since it’s an EV, the aerodynamic design approach is also evident with the test mule which will help with the improved range dynamics overall. The snapshots of the latest Maruti eVX test mule further reveals ORVM mounted turn indicators and polygonal wheel arches.

The side profile of the upcoming e-SUV is further seen sporting convention door handles on the front, while the rear doors gets C-pillar mounted door handles. A roof spoiler is added on the rear panel and also a rear wiper and washer is spotted with the test mule. The rumor mill indicates the eVX will come with large boot space, however, the capacity is not specified at this point.

MG Windsor CUV Model Name Officially Announced

JSW MG Motor India will be launching a new EV in India soon. The joint venture is gearing up for the launch of the the India’s first ever Crossover Electric Utility Vehicle (CUV) which was tipped to be called as the Cloud EV. However, the company recently shared a cryptic teaser followed by an official confirmation revealing the Windsor EV name for its new electric CUV. The Windsor EV name is inspired from the Windsor Castle.MG Motor India will likely schedule the upcoming EV’s launch sometime in September this year with a price range starting under Rs. 20 lakh.

Oben Rorr Electric Motorcycle Freedom Offer Sale

Oben Electric has made its e-motorcycle Rorr more affordable with fresh discounts. The company has announced Freedom Offer on the Rorr electric motorcycle as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The limited period sale on the Rorr electric motorcycle makes it cheaper by Rs. 25,000. With the new offer, the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle can be purchased at Rs. 1.24 lakh (ex showroom) instead of Rs. 1.41 lakh (ex showroom) retailing price. The discount on the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle is up for grabs till August 15, 2024 only post which the prices will be revised to original.

Mahindra XUV.e8, XUV.e9 Spied Up Close

Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUV fleet comprising the XUV.e8 and the XUV.e9 have been stopping by constantly at the rumor mill. Both these electric SUVs have been snapped up close recently. Range Rover Sport EV is another high-end luxury e-SUV which is set to break its cover in India. The upcoming electric SUV has ben spied for the first time being tested on the Indian roads. Sharing his ordeal on X, the user going by Eshwar handle shared the image of the Ather e-scooter’s service and maintenance bill. With an amount of Rs. 8,000, the electric two wheeler’s service charge seems higher than cars.

Raising concerns, the user shared a not stating “They said EVs have a low maintenance fee because it has fewer moving parts.” While this is true, the fewer parts which includes the motor, fans, and belt drives are prone to damage with daily rides and commutes. So getting them replaced remains the only solution for the consistent and reliable performance on any electric two wheeler

The owner notes that charges for basic servicing and replacement of two fans. Also, the e-scooter he got serviced didn’t meet any accidents that could have done some major damages to the physical parts. Any issues that he was experiencing with his electric scooter’s were apparently due general wear tear.

The owner’s Ather e-scooter for which he got charged Rs. 8,000 as a service cost is almost 4 years old with just 13,398 km distance travelled as per the odometer. Now, if it would have been a standard ICE scooter, the service cost would have been much lower considering there is hardly any major service or repair required within this timeline.

Any Response From The Company?

In a response, Ather Energy has asked the customers for contact details in order to reach out for clearing the disparities. The customers then highlighted how he has been trying to get Ather Service Pack for the last 2 months but without any success. It remains to be seen if there is any solution for this being given to the customers from Ather.
