The sudden surge in two-wheeler EV demands has created a massive opportunity for the EV startups. Jitendra EV Tech, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer from Nashik has come up with India’s first-of-a-kind e-scooter with a transparent bodywork. Called the Jitendra EV Primo, the new electric scooter has arrived with this unique design aspect under Rs. 1 lakh. Is it all the design the brand has focused on or the powertrain too? Jitendra EV Primo Transparent E-Scooter: Design Highlights

The Jitendra EV Primo electric scooter has a standard two-wheeler scooter design with a flat storage floorboard. But what sets it apart from the conventional e-scooters is the transparent body frame that shows the internals. The see-through part of the e-scooter features a glass body material. This is a unique design aspect which is haven’t seen with any electric two-wheeler yet.

Wait! There’s A Catch!

The Jitendra EV Primo e-scooter’s transparent body frame variant is yet to hit the production bay. The brand has only showcased the prototype and the concept is yet to go commercial. Instead, this electric scooter will be up for grabs in four other color options including black, red, silver, and white. These color variants won’t feature a transparent body panel.

The Jitendra EV Primo electric scooter has been loaded with a 60V, 26Ah battery module. This electric scooter is said to offer up to 65 km range with a single charge. Notably. Jitendra EV also plans to launch Primo Plus and Primo S e-scooter models in India by next year. The former model will be offering up to 90 km range, while the latter might offer up to 130 km range per charge.

That said, this electric scooter can deliver up to 52 km/h top speed. Suspension system used includes telescopic fork and hydraulic fork clubbed with spring coil suspension module. As for the braking, the Jitendra EV Primo electric scooter has disc and drum braking module upfront and rear respectively.

Speaking of the features, the latest e-scooter has a side stand indicator, reverse ride assist, and more. It also has a digital instrument cluster and LED headlamp.
