iQOO is getting with new product launches this year. The Chinese brand has launched multiple gaming Android phones for the affordable as well as the premium audience. The next from iQOO’s lot will be a new Neo 6 series phone, i.e, the Neo 6 SE. It will be another premium range handset by iQOO that will be catering to mobile gaming enthusiasts across the globe. The iQOO Neo 6 SE’s upcoming launch has been confirmed by the brand itself.

iQOO Neo 6 SE Official Launch Date Announced: India Launch Also On Card?

In a post shared at its official Weibo handle, iQOO announced the upcoming Neo 6 SE official launch date is scheduled for May 6. iQOO will be launching the successor to the iQOO Neo 5 SE initially in China. The launch event is set for 7.30 PM China time which would likely be streamed via the company’s online social media handles including the YouTube channel.

The company has not made any further announcements related to the iQOO Neo 6 SE’s global launch timeline. Therefore, it would be hard to guess when the next premium range iQOO Neo series phone will break covers in India. The teaser post shared by iQOO on Weibo also reveals some of the Neo 6 SE’s key features such as the camera and fast charging capacity.

iQOO Neo 6 SE Expected Full Specifications

If we speak of the official iQOO Neo 6 SE teaser poster, then a 64MP main camera sensor with OIS is confirmed. This is amongst the prime upgrades that the Neo 6 SE features over the previous model, i.e, the Neo 5 SE. The poster images don’t confirm the remaining camera specifications. However, we expect an additional depth and macro/telephoto lens to complete the Neo 6 SE’s camera hardware.

Apart from the camera specifications, the Neo 6 SE’s teaser poster also reveals 80W fast wired charging supports. However, the battery capacity isn’t specified in the launch poster image. If we go by the leaks, the iQOO Neo 6 SE will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. That’s the same chipset used by its predecessor, i.e, the Neo 5 SE. The upcoming iQOO Neo 6 series phone is rumored to pack up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

There are sleek possibilities that iQOO upgrade the chipset on the Neo 6 SE, but that would be confirmed once the device gets official. We might see a 6.62-inch OLED display with an FHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could come with an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics and Android 12 OS topped with a custom FunTouch OS interface.
