KIA EV9 Concept SUV: Design

With the EV9, KIA has outperformed those expectations for everything an EV car should be. It is audacious and means business. This SUV is a proper one with an imposing stance and substantial ground clearance. The car’s front has symmetrical, sharp lines. The front grill, which the company refers to as its “Tiger Face,” has changed for its electric iteration. With the help of some chrome strips, the S-shaped DRLs smooth off the front look.

Its rear proportionally balances its front effectively. The tail lamps are well integrated with the D-pillar of the EV9 design, and it has some solid crease lines. Due to the dual-tone treatment, the rear bumper looks imposing and buff.

The KIA EV9 also has a more intriguing side profile. It is tall, and the quarter panel at the back has a triangle window pane that projects sharply into the roof. The wheel arches receive substantial protection and curiously shaped tyres to match the overall visual aesthetic.

KIA EV9 Concept SUV: Powertrain

Since this is only a concept, the powertrain is still a mystery. However, since it will share a platform with the EV6, it is anticipated to include a 77.6kWh battery pack with support for fast charging and a variety of powertrains.
