Smartphone makers are flooding the Indian smartphone market with new 5G smartphones. Most of the brands have been proactive in the mid-range segment. It wouldn’t be wrong to say the competition is now getting stiff under Rs. 20,000 price bracket.

Motorola has also introduced two new Moto G series models catering to the budget audience in India. To clear the confusion around which of both models makes the best fit for you, we have listed down the differences in the features. We are pitting both these devices against the Redmi Note 11 5G which is another popular 5G smartphone launched in recent times.

The Moto G31 has the smallest display amongst all the variants. It is packed with a 6.60-inch display which supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ resolution. The remaining two smartphones offer a bigger panel and a higher refresh rate.

Take for instance the Moto G51 which offers the biggest panel (6.80-inches). The refresh rate is also higher, i.e, 120Hz. The Redmi Note 11 5G sports a 6.60-inch display that supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. All three models come with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The Moto G31 is a standard 4G model powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The other two models come with 5G network support. The Moto G51 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus processor and is the first handset to ship with this chipset in India.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 5G uses the octa-core Dimensity 810 processor with 5G network connectivity. All three models can be selected with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The storage expansion support is also present on all these handsets. It’s the Moto G31 that falls behind in this race.

The optics aren’t much different either. While the Redmi Note 11 5G offers a dual-camera setup, the Moto G31 and the Moto G51 are equipped with a triple-lens camera module. However, the primary camera is the same on all three variants. You get to see a 50MP main sensor on the Redmi Note 11 5G, Moto G31, and the Moto G51 5G.

The Redmi handset has an additional 8MP wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, whereas both Moto handsets pack an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP sensor for depth mapping. As for the selfie camera, the Redmi Note 11 5G takes the lead here with a 16MP snapper. Both Moto G31 and the Moto G51 feature a 13MP selfie snapper.
