Poco F series became an instant hit ever since its debut. The brand has already realeased four generation of Poco F series phones and is now gearing up to launch the new-gen model. Called the Poco F5, the upcoming premium 5G phone from Poco is breaking covers next month in the country. The expected official launch date has been leaked by alongwith the model number and some of the key specs.
Poco F5 Official India Launch Date Revealed
According to an exclusive report by 91Mobiles, the Poco F5 5G is set to make its debut in the Indian market on April 6, 2023. The publication claims the information has been shared by some of the industry sources. While Poco is yet to give an official nod to this detail, the suggested timeline seems accurate consider the source of the tip. Nevertheless, the company could possibly introduce this handset in the first week of April if not on the aforementioned date.

Poco F5 5G Price In India (Expected)
Currently, only the upcoming launch timeline has been revealed. The expected price tag of the handset is yet to be confirmed. That said, the online reports suggests Poco F5 could debut with almost a similar starting price as its successor, i.e., the Poco F4 5G. This means, we might see a sub Rs, 30,000 price range (starting) for the Poco F5 5G in India. Notably, this is just a speculation based on the pricing of the previous-gen model. The actual cost could differ.

Going by the recent leaks and rumors, the Poco F5 5G could be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo 5G. The latter is also expected to launch sometime soon in the Chinese market. As for the spec-sheet, we might see the Qualcomm’s recently launched premium Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile chipset under the Poco F5 5G’s hood.

This handset is likely to ship with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB native storage space. The firmware pre-installed could be Android 13 OS topped with a custom user interface (MIUI) likely. The Poco F5 5G is further said to flaunt a large 6.67-inch display which will be an AMOLED screen supporting an QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel will also get an HDR10+ certification and 1400 nots peak brightness.

For optics, Poco will be using a triple lens setup on the F5 5G which will include a 50MP main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP lens. The selfie lens will be a 16MP sensor tucked inside the punch-hole cutout on the top of the screen. Lastly, the Poco F5 5G is said to be powered by a 5,500 mAh battery unit which will combine 67W fast charging.
