Reliance Jio has launched an affordable laptop called Reliance JioBook. During the ongoing India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 event at Pragati Maidan in Delhi, a peek of it was also seen. The recently released JioBook can be purchased in India through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Here’s everything you need to know about the latest laptop:

Reliance JioBook Laptop: Specifications

The Reliance JioBook Laptop has been unveiled in a plastic body. The Jio brand logo appears on the back panel as well as the keyboard. This affordable laptop is equipped with in-built 4G LTE support.

The 11.6-inch Reliance JioBook display has an HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The laptop is equipped with an Adreno 610 GPU and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. It has 32GB of inbuilt eMMC storage and 2GB of RAM. Jio OS is the operating system that runs on this new laptop from Jio.

The laptop offers pre-installed apps and an HD webcam for video calls. It also has a variety of connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, microSD card support, 4G, USB 2.0 port, USB Gen 1 port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The device contains a two-in-one combo connection for dual microphones and headsets in addition to a dual speaker system. It features an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, and a USB 2.0 port. In addition to WiFi 802.11ac, the device also supports microSD cards and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. This laptop works on the JioOS operating system.

Reliance JioBook Laptop: Price And Availability

In India, the Reliance JioBook costs Rs. 19,500. The only location to buy the laptop is the government’s online marketplace. At present, this laptop is available only for employees of government departments. The rest of the customers would be able to get this affordable laptop after Diwali, the report said.
