Vivo has been quite consistent with new products across its affordable “Y” smartphone lineup. The Chinese tech giant recently added two new devices to this series called the Y54s and the Y50t. Now, this lineup has been refreshed once again with the Vivo Y74s. The latest model comes with 5G network support and offers highlight features such as the Dimensity 810 SoC and a 50MP main camera.
Vivo Y74s 5G: What Are The Features Offered?
The Vivo Y74s 5G has been launched with an IPS LCD display which measures 6.58-inches and offers a 90.61 percent screen-to-body ratio. The panel comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 1080p FHD+ screen resolution. The refresh rare offered is standard, i.e, 60Hz unlike most of the mid-range 5G smartphones where you get 90Hz/120Hz refresh rate nowadays.
At its core, the Vivo Y74s 5G uses the Dimensity 810 processor which is the latest mid-tier 5G chipset by Qualcomm. The handset will ship with 8GB LPDDr4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Vivo has also equipped this new budget 5G phone with its new virtual RAM feature. You will be able to use up to 4GB extra RAM using this feature.
Coming to the imaging setup, the vertical module at the back houses dual sensors. There is a 50MP main camera which is accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor for bokeh effects. The camera app will offer some standard shooting modes such as HDR, Panorama, Portrait, slow-motion, and time-lapse video recording.
It will also support 1080p video recording and night scene mode for low-light imaging. To click selfies and for video calling, the Vivo Y54s 5G uses an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Y54s offers dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi.
The firmware here is Android 11 OS wrapped around Origin OS. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Powering the Y74s 5G is a 4,100 mAh battery that is clubbed with 44W fast charging.
Vivo Y74s 5G Price, India Sale Details
The Vivo Y74s 5G is currently announced in the Chinese market at 2,299 Yuan which is approximately Rs. 26,700 as per Indian currency. The device is available in China in Starry Night Black and Galaxy Blue colors. Vivo has not shared any information related to the Y74s 5G’s India launch. However, it might start dropping hints on the same soon.
