Apple Might Launch New MacBooks, AirPods 3 On October 18: Here Are Details

After launching four smartphones under iPhone 13 series, Apple is again bringing new products on October 18th, 2021. Notably, all new smartphones are already available in India. However, this time the Cupertino-based tech giant is likely to announce new models of Macbook models.

Apple Expected Products On The Upcoming Event

It is worth noting that Apple is likely to bring 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models on October 18. Besides, the tech giant is likely to bring the successor of the M1 Chip that was last year.

The new MacBook Pro is expected to have a mini-LED display, HDMI port, and SD card slot. However, several reports claim that the company might remove the touch bar and is likely to reintroduced traditional function keys. In addition, the company is likely to share the macOS Monterey release date.

Also, the report claims that the tech giant might launch a high-end Mac mini, which is likely to be powerful. It will feature several Thunderbolt ports, a MagSafe power connector, a magnetic charging connector, a plexiglass-like top, and more.

Furthermore, the company might bring much-awaited AirPods 3 truly wireless earbuds during the same event. As per reports, the Airpods 3 will have the same feature as the Airpods Pro, including, a shorter stem, a smaller charging case, spatial audio support, and many more.

The Airpods 3 might come with an Active Noise Cancellation feature. It should be noted that Apple has not made any official announcement on the products that will be launched at the same event.

Apple Facing Production Issues

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reported that Apple is facing production issues due to chip shortages. According to the report, Apple was planning to manufacture 90 million devices this year.

But, the company has cut down the number to 10 million as Broadcom and Texas Instruments (partners) are facing the same issue. Notably, Apple is not the only company that is facing a chip shortage issue and delaying its production.

Earlier, all Chinese smartphone and smart television companies have reported the same issues. In fact, the much-awaited affordable smartphone of Reliance Jio and Google was delayed due to the same reason.
