Reliance Jio has launched a new plan to offer Disney+ Hotstar app access with Rs. 499 plan. Notably, the company has reintroduced this plan as customers are porting their numbers to other telecom operators. The Rs. 499 plan offers 2GB of data for 28 days.

This plan also ships unlimited calling, Jio Prime Membership, and Disney+ Hotstar without any extra cost. This plan also ships Jio apps access like JioTV and Jio Cinema. Besides, Reliance Jio is providing daily data offers with Rs. 249 and Rs. 299 plan for 23 days and 28 days. Additionally, users will get 2GB of data per day and 100 messages every day for the same period.

Reliance Jio Extra Validity Plan

Apart from these packs, India’s largest telecom operator is providing extra validity with Rs. 2,545 prepaid plan. Notably, the company is providing extra 29 days with the same plan, which users will be getting all benefits for 365 days.

However, there is a catch. This is plan is valid until January 7. In terms of offers, this pack ships 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited calling, messages per day. Besides, this plan is providing access to all Jio applications: such as JioSecurity, JioCloud, JioTV, and JioCinema. Also, the company offers Happy New Year Offer.

HMD has announced the launch of new smartphones at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022. All newly launched smartphones are priced under Rs. 18,600, which means all are in the budget segment. Vivo has announced the launch of two smartphones on Wednesday in India. The Vivo V23 5G and the Vivo V23 Pro 5G come with an AG glass back, which the company claims can change the colours when exposed to sunlight. Both devices come with a MediaTek Dimensity processor. These products feature 5G connectivity, dual selfie cameras, and 50MP primary sensor.

Vivo V23 5G And Vivo V23 Pro 5G: Specifications

The Vivo V23 5G comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. Also, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the optics front, the device will have a 64MP primary camera, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.

Upfront, it has a double camera setup at the front, a 50MP primary sensor and 8MP wide-angle sensor along with an f/2.28 aperture lens.

The Vivo V23 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch full HD AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, 12GB of RA, and 256GB of onboard storage. Both smartphones support USB Type-C, USB OTG, 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.2.

Additionally, Vivo V23 5G and the Vivo V23 Pro 5G include e-compass, gyroscope, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and NavIC.

Furthermore, Vivo V23 5G is backed up by a 4,200 mAh battery, whereas Vivo V23 Pro 5G comes with a 4,300 mAh battery. Both devices come with a 44W fast charging support. The Vivo V23 5G weighs 179 grams and measures 157.2×72.42×7.39mm, while Vivo V23 Pro 5G weighs 171 grams and measures 159.46×73.27×7.36mm.

The 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Vivo V23 5G will cost you Rs. 29,900, while 12GB+ 256GB storage variant will cost you Rs. 34,990. The Vivo V23 Pro 5G will cost you Rs. 38,990 and RS. 43,990 for the 8GB+ 128GB of storage and 12GB+ 256GB variant. Both devices are available in two colour options: Sunshine Gold and Stardust Black.

The devices will be available on the company’s website and the e-commerce platform Flipkart. Devices are available for pre-orders; however, Vivo V23 5G will be available from January 19 and the Vivo V23 Pro 5G will be available from January 13th, 2022.

Starlink India Head Part Ways From The Company: What Really Happened?

Elon Musk-led Starlink’s India operations head Sanjay Bhargava has resigned from his position. This move comes a week after DoT said that it has no license to provide internet and asked the public not to opt for its services.

“I have stepped down as Country Director and Chairman of the Board of Starlink India for personal reasons… my last working day was December 31, 2021. I will have no comments…,” Bhargava said in the LinkedIn post. However, Bhargava did not reply to any of the questions sent to him about the resignation.

Bhargava joined Starlink last year in October. Earlier, he worked with Musk and founded Paypal, which is an electronic payment firm.

For the unaware, the Department of Telecommunication has also asked Starlink to refund all money from the deposits of the pre-booking. In fact, the company has started sending emails to customers for the refund of the pre-booking.

Starlink Refund Plans

Similarly, ET reported that that the company is in the process of refunding. The report also claims that somebody from the company has also met the ministry. Besides, DoT officials said that Starlink is in the process of applying for the license.

“We want to ensure we welcome investments into the country, so refund, make your applications, get your clearances and then please do what you want to,” the department official was quoted by ET. Notably, the company has informed its 7000 customers about the uncertainty of broadband internet services in India.

“We have been directed by India’s DoT to refund pre-orders until we are licensed,” the company said. It added that “unfortunately, the timeline for receiving licenses to operate is currently unknown, and there are several issues that must be resolved within the licensing framework to allow us to operate Starlink in India”.

It is important to note that the company pointed out that customers who have opted for the services are allowed to log in to their account and ask for cancellation or request a refund, which will be issued immediately. The company announced this procedure after DoT said that they need a license and necessary authorization before starting pre-booking process.

In order to attract customers to its platform, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the launch of a new offer. The New Year Offer 2022 has been launched for Bharat Fiber, DSL Broadband, and Air Fibre customers in the country.

Under this new offer, the state-run telecom operator BSNL is providing Amazon Fire TV Stick from Rs. 999 plan. The scheme is already listed on the company’s website, but there is a catch. The can is available for those who can pay or apply for the annual advance payment scheme through BSNL Boss Portal.

The company also said that users who are using below Rs. 999 plan, then they have to upgrade to the plan above Rs. 999. The same offer is also accessible on the Selfcare portal or the Customer Service Centers (BSNL CSCs).

“The competent authority has decided to offer bundled ‘Amazon Fire TV stick lite’ under annual subscription of DSL/Fibre/AirFibre Broadband plan having monthly charges of Rs. 999/- & above in all the circles. The plan change request has a lower FMC than Rs. 999/- shall not be entertained during the lock-in period of an annual subscription,” BSNL noted on its website.

BSNL Offering Google Smart Devices

This is not the first time when the telecom operator announced this offer. Earlier, a state-run telecom operator announced that it is providing Google Smart devices at a discounted price on the annual internet plans.

Under that offer, users are getting Google Nest Mini and Google Nest Hub smart devices at Rs. 99 and Rs. 199 respectively. However, this offer is available for users who have cleared 12 and 13 payments in advance. Furthermore, this offer is available for users who are using Rs. 799 and above internet plans per month.

BSNL Rs. 499 Internet Plan Details

Meanwhile, the company has revised its Rs. 499 internet plan, reports Kerala Telecom. Additionally, the telecom operator is providing 1000GB of data along with 50 Mbps speed without any extra charge. Besides, the plan offers 50 Mbps download speed until 200GB; however, after that, the speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps once the speed ends.
