The Ampere Magnus Neo is launched with modern design where the profile is sleek and sporty. The angular headlamps upfront are accompanied by sharp side panels, and an elevated tail. The single piece seat is extended and seems to be suitable for comfortable rides.

The Magnus Neo electric scooter uses telescopic fork suspension module and dual shock absorber system at the front and rear respectively and sits on 12-inch alloy wheels. Feature-wise, the Magnus Neo electric scooter has an LCD instrument cluster that shows battery percentage and modes. It will offer three different riding modes and will also support reverse mode for easy assistance with parking at tight spots.

The Defy 22 will be a new age e-scooter option that will be catering to all categories of consumers including students, professionals, as well as families. This e-scooter will also be equipped with modern safety elements and will be a practical commute solution for the masses.

What Does The Teaser Reveal?

Seperately, the Ferrato Defy 22 e-scooter has been also teased online at the company’s official handles. The teaser video doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming e-scooter but gives subtle hints of its bold and sleek style statement.

The teaser also shows an LCD digital instrument cluster that will display battery percentage, ride stats, and the parking status. We can also see the four LED DRLs two of which are on the front apron, while the remaining two on the handlebar.

Ampere Magnus Neo Electric Scooter: What All To Expect

Ampere Magnus Neo electric scooter seems to be the updated trim of the standard Magnus electric model. The Neo variant is likely to retain the same design as the outgoing standard Magnus model. This means it will flaunt a conventional two wheeler scooter design with the same apron design as the current-gen version. We can expect the same 10-inch wheel platform mounting steel rims and black headlamp setup.

The Magnus Neo e-scooter is reportedly going to use the same basic digital LCD instrument cluster as the Magnus. We might not see the Bluetooth comptability with this trim. Considering this is an upgrade, this update is something that would have made more sense.

Feature wise, the Magnus Neo electric scooter could offer multiple riding modes including reverse mode. There are indications that a bigger battery pack of 2.2 kWh capacity will drive the Magnus Neo. Current variant gets a 2 kWh battery pack. With the larger battery size, the Magnus Neo will possibly offer higher riding range of up to 130 km per charge.

Mahindra XUV 700 EV Leak: Exteriors And Interiors

Mahindra XUV 700 EV’s design have been leaked courtesy fresh spy shots right ahead of the Bharat Global Mobility unveiling. The spy images gives us the glimpse of the exteriors and interiors of the upcoming Mahindra electric SUV. The design of the electric XUV 700 variant seems heavily inspired from the recently launched XEV 9e.

The similarities between the XEV 9e and the upcoming XUV 700 EV ranges from the split headlight design and the inverted L-shaped connected LED DRL. The overall profile of the XUV 700 EV is also similar the XEV 9e, i.e., coupe-style with a sloping roofline.

The spy shots also gives some clues about the cabin design. The XXUV 700 EV’s spacious cabin is likely to get dual tome black and white finish with the striped dashboard featuring piano black color scheme. BYD Sealion 7 Coupe-Style Electric SUV

BYD, the Chinese electric manufacturer is gearing up for its new electric SUV launch in India called the BYD Sealion 7. The coupe-style electric SUV model is set to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Featuring a curvy sporty profile, the Sealion 7 will sport Seal-inspired LED headlamps, flush-fit door handles, sloping roofline, and connected LED DRLs, taillamp setup.

The Sealion 7 electric SUV will be underpinning an electric motor with claimed output of 23,000RPM. This e-SUV will be available with AWD powertrain and a blade battery module. BYD Sealion 7 is said to be launched by Q1 of 2025 in India with deliveries starting later.

VinFast VF 7 Electric SUV

VinFast will be introducing two new models at the Auto Expo 2025 (Bharat Mobility 2025). The VF 7 is one of the models which the company has confirmed to be introduced at the annual auto fair. The VinFast VF7 will a 5 seater electric SUV sporting a crossover-like design. This electric SUV is available outside India in dual battery pack and drivetrain options.

It is unclear which of the trims the brand will be bringing to the country. The VinFast VF 7’s AWD and FWD variant called Plus and Eco respectively features the same 75.3 kWh battery pack but produces 354 bhp and 204 bhp peak power respectively.

VinFast VF 9 Electric SUV

VinFast second offering getting showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is yet another electric SUV. This one will be a premium range e-SUV model called the VF 9. Available with both six and seven seater option, the three- row VinFast VF 9 electric SUV has dual trims like the VF 7 called Eco and Plus. Both trims come with a dual-motor AWD setup producing 408 bhp of peak power and 602 Nm of peak torque. The VF 9’s Eco and Plus trims gets the sam 123 kWh battery pack and as per the brand can deliver up to 531 km range as per WLTP cycle.

Tata Harrier EV Long Range Trim Battery Capacity Revealed

Tata Harrier EV, the electrified version of the popular mid-size SUV is set to go official next week in India. Right ahead of the launch, the rumor mill has been rapidly spilling beans related to its features and powertrain. Just a while ago, the Harrier EV’s test mule was snapped hinting at its AWD capabilities.

Seems like the reports are true and we will see top-spec model of the Harrier EV ship with dual electric motors and AWD drivetrain. And if we go by the fresh rumors, the Harrier EV’s long range trims will be equipped with a bigger battery pack of 75 kWh.

To recap, a 60 kWh battery unit has been earlier tipped to be integrated inside the Harrier EV. This is likely for the Medium Range trims of the Harrier EV. The usage of larger battery pack is expected to add additional range figures with each charge cycle.

Tata has not shared much insight officially on the Harrier EV. However, this electric SUV already has been previewed at the Auto Expo 2023. Going by the test mule sightings, we can expect the Harrier EV will be sharing its exterior and interiors with the ICE counterpart. As mentioned above, Mahindra has launched the XEV 9E in three different variants holding the same monikers as the BE 6. The base model of the XEV 9E will be called Pack 1, the mid trim will be called Pack 2, and the top trim will be called Pack 3.

Previously, Mahindra only announced Pack 1’s prices which is Rs. 21.90 lakh (ex showroom). Now, the XEV 9E Pack 3 prices are out which is Rs. 30.50 lakh (ex showroom). Prices for the mid variant (Pack 2) are still undisclosed.

Mahindra XEV 9E Features, Powertrain

Mahindra XEV 9E is also a futuristically-designed electric SUV. However, unlike the aggressive styling of the BE 6, it takes a rather subtle approach while being built on the same INGLO platform. The XEV 9E also comes with dual battery pack options including 59 kWh and 79 kWh.

Power delivery offered by the base models featuring the smaller battery pack will be 227 bhp, while the higher spec variant will produce 282 bhp of peak power. The XEV 9E has an advanced triple screen setup on the dashboard and a new steering wheel with illuminated logo. It comes with level 2 ADAS, 360° camera, TPMS, connected car tech, and more.

Mahindra BE 6 All Variant Names, Prices

The Mahindra BE 6 will be sold in three different trims. Base model of the BE 6 is called the Pack 1, while the mid and the top trim are called Pack 2 and Pack 3 respectively. Mahindra had already revealed the prices for the Pack 1 trim at the launch which is Rs. 18.90 lakh (ex showroom). Now, the prices for the top trim, i.e., the Pack 3 is also announced. This variant will be available at Rs. 26.90 lakh ( ex showroom) in India.

It is worth adding that Mahindra has still not revealed the prices for the mid trim, i.e., the BE 6 Pack 2. Mahindra will reportedly be commencing the bookings for the BE 6 Pack 3 (top variant) from February 14, 2025 in India. The deliveries for this model will likely start from March 2025, as per the reports.

Mahindra BE 6: Features Recap

Mahindra BE 6 e-SUV has been designed on the new INGLO platform and will be available with both RWD and AWD option. Sony Honda Afeela 1 Electric Car: Highlights

Sony Honda Afeela 1 EV is a high-end electric car which flaunts a stylish-sports design. It is sleek and modern EV which has a plethora of advanced features including a panoramic sunroof with an immersive 3D map, and automatic power doors. The Afeela 1 EV measures 4,915 mm x 1,460 mm x 3,018 mm (length x height x wheelbase) and sits on 21-inch alloy wheels.

Unfortunately, it is not yet confirmed if the Afeela 1 EV will come with the PS 5 controller ride feature which was showcased with the prototype. Chances are Sony- Honda will clear this air sometime soon. If we speak of the advance tech used by the Afeela 1 EV, then its the 360° cameras with LiDAR, radar, and ultrasonic sensors for enhanced safety combined with ADAS.

Under its hood, the Afeela 1 EV will be using the new platform which Honda will be using for its 0 series of electric cars. It will be mounting two electric motors in each axle allowing AWD drivetrain. The Afeela 1 EV is backed by a 91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and can offer a range of around 483 km on a full charge.

Sony Honda Afeela 1 Electric Car Variants, Price, Booking Details

Sony Honda Afeela 1 electric car’s base trim is announced at $89,900 which is somewhere around Rs. 77 lakh. There is another trim called Afeela 1 Signature which is priced at $ 102,900 (approx. Rs. 61.6 lakh). Bookings for the Afeela 1 EV have commenced. However, only the customers in the US can purchase this new Sony Honda EV.

LML Star Electric Scooter: Quick Recap

LML Star electric scooter is yet to be launched officially in India. The company recently filed its patent and is expected to announce its arrival sometime soon. The LML Star electric scooter will be a maxi style electric scooter wearing a dual tone skin riding on 14-inch alloy wheels.

This upcoming e-scooter will be using swappable battery module similar to the newly launched Activa e but will also support charging. The Star electric scooter will also equip several advanced features such as hill hold assist mode, reverse mode, TPMS, and reverse mode. It will be underpinning a 5.87 kW electric motor and is said to offer up to 203 km range per charge. The top speed is said to be up to 90 kmph.
