EV Tips And Tricks: How To Get Maximum Range Delivery From Your EV On A Single Charge

Key Highlights

  • EV range can be boosted with a few simple steps
  • Regular servicing and maintenance helps with better range delivery
  • Regeneration-enabled EVs suitable for higher range

Electric vehicles are shaping up the modern eco-friendly mobility solution for the masses globally. Be it passenger EVs or commercial EVs, the market today is evolving rapidly with the electric vehicle options. Both mainstream auto giants as well as EV startups are developing practical models for daily and long distance commutes. Despite offering all advanced range of features and tech, one common concern bugs most of the EV owners.

If you guessed ‘range delivery’ then you have hit the right spot. With the charging structure being the development phase and scarcity of active EV charging stations across India, range anxiety comes as one of the biggest worries for the owners. When you step out to buy a new EV, long range models do make for an apt choice. But what if you can’t get rid of this range anxiety concern with your EV? Adequate Tyre Pressure Is Must

Appropriate tyre pressure is known for increasing the mileage efficiency of automobiles. Be it ICE engine models or EVs, if there is adequate tyre pressure in your vehicle, you can expect a higher range delivery than low-inflated or flat tyers. The science here is simple, the adequate tyre pressure ensures there is minimum drag resistance which eventually allows smooth motor operations and higher mileage delivery overall.

Choose EV Models With Regeneration Feature

Most of the EV manufacturers are offering braking regeneration feature with the E2W and E4W. This tech helps with battery recharge when the vehicle is gradually stopping or the speeds are lowered. It essentially refuels the battery by utilizing the kinetic energy during the ride which otherwise goes to waste. While regeneration doesn’t act as a fast charger, it can help retain the battery charge to a certain extent.
