OLA Electric Car Prototype Image Leaked: How Does It Look?

The OLA electric car is rumored to debut as an electric sedan. For reference, Bhavish Aggarwal, OLA CEO, previously tipped the development of the Electric halo project which primarily is centered on electric car production. The latest leaked image of the OLA electric sedan car shows the 3D model.

The OLA electric sedan car’s fresh leaked images suggest the brand is working with the prototype. The first electric car from will feature a standard sedan shape with a smooth-curved roofline for improved aerodynamics. The design seems to be inspired by premium range electric sedans and SUV crossovers such as BYD Seal and Hyundai Ioniq 6.

If we go by the image, the OLA Electric car will feature a large sunroof. Also the roof panel will be blacked out to complement the large-glass sunroof. OLA apparently is bent on improving the aerodynamics of its first electric car which is further evident with the side vents behind the front wheel arches and steep-arched windscreen at the front as well as the rear.

If we believe the rumors, the OLA Electric car might also come with a camera-based rear-view monitoring system. This will also help with the improved aerodynamics ride that will allow for a smooth ride at high speeds.

The updated 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter’s powertrain includes a 3kW electric hub motor. The latest model is refreshed with a LifePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack. With the new battery setup, the 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter’s SE Eco variant is claimed to offer 75- 90 km range, Eco mode, 110- 140 km range in Sport mode, and 150- 180 km per charge range in Turbo Mode.

As for the top speed, the 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter in SE Eco model is said to reach 55- 60 kmph. The Sport and Performance Upgrade model of the updated Komaki SE electric scooter will deliver 75- 80 kmph top speed.

Speaking of the charging, the 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter’s LifePI4 battery pack is said to take around 4- 5 hours when charged with the standard charger at home. The updated version of the two-wheeler electric scooter features alloy wheels and uses a dual disc braking system combined with anti-skid technology.

Also, the exact date in July when OLA plans to launch the new S1 series electric scooter is also kept a mystery. The powertrain and feature details of the new OLA electric scooter are not confirmed. But we can expect some common features such as multiple ride modes including Eco, Normal, and Sports. The new OLA S1 electric scooter could also feature a large TFT digital instrument cluster like the previous models.

The KTM maxi-style electric scooter has been spotted being tested out in the wild. Motorrrad Online has been the first to spot and share the images of the KTM Maxi-Style electric scooter’s prototype. The KTM electric scooter is being tested in the European markets currently and if we go by the reports, it is in the initial development phase.

It is worth mentioning that KTM has already showcased the electric scooter. However, the concept that KTM revealed previously looked more aggressive compared to the prototype spotted being tested on the roads.

In fact, the images show aluminum body parts including the foot pegs and the swing arm. Also, most of the body components of the KTM maxi electric scooter are possibly 3D printed. This could be specifically for the test runs and the actual model will use different body material.

If we talk of the design changes compared to the concept model then the entire frame design seems less aggressive than the one shown in the concept. The KTM electric scooter’s floorboard isn’t flat as is the case with most maxi-style electric scooter. The thickness of the floorboard suggests the battery module could be mounted on it.

The upcoming electric scooter from KTM will have a flat seat design according to the leaked prototype images. This is a practical design for longer ride comforts for both the rider and the pillion. The leaked test mule images of the KTM electric scooter show alloy wheels and disc brakes. Up front, the KTM electric scooter prototype images show also show a windscreen.

Notably, captivating design features from the concept car have been carried forward, such as the aggressive front-end with a C-shaped LED lighting signature and a bonnet vent for seamless airflow. The rear design closely resembles the show car, featuring connected LED tail lights and a sporty spoiler atop the rear windscreen.

Interestingly, Mahindra has chosen a traditional outside rear view mirror design instead of the camera-based system seen in the prototype. Additionally, the EV will feature the “BE” logo instead of Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo, establishing a unique identity for their upcoming EV range.

Rajesh Jejurikar’s tweet offers a sneak peek into the interiors of the Mahindra BE.05 electric SUV. The black-and-white image was captured at Mahindra’s testing ground in Chennai, where the vehicle is being prepared for its market launch.

The wrap-around console design of the electric vehicle (EV) has been kept the same. The test car has a single driver-oriented display panel that shows various information about the vehicle. However, there is a possibility that Mahindra is testing a dual display unit that might be included in the final production version of the car.

Other notable interior details include the slim and stylish concealed AC vent design and a fabric pull strap. The test car appears to be equipped with a conventional steering wheel, potentially borrowed from the new Mahindra XUV700 or the Mahindra Scorpio N.

Speaking of the powertrain and features, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra has been launched in the international markets with a 500W electric motor. This new electric scooter from Xiaomi features a foldable e-bike design that is compact for daily city runs.

The single electric motor on the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra can deliver a peak power of 940W. The battery capacity packed inside the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is 561.5Wh. As per Xiaomi, this battery pack inside the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is capable of delivering a riding range of 70 km with a single charge. As for the top speed, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra can reach up to 25 kmph with a full throttle.

For suspension, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra relies on a dual shock absorption system. On the other hand, an E-ABS system is used for breaking. This Xiaomi compact foldable e-bike can take a maximum load capacity of 120 kgs. Speaking of its dimensions, the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra measures 1260 mm x 1200 mm when unfolded and 535 mm x 1200 mm x 545 mm in the folded state. The foldable Xiaomi e-bike’s ride information can be accessed using the compatible companion app on smartphones.

Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra: Is It Launching In India?

Post its showcase during the MWC 2023 event, Xiaomi has launched the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra in a couple of markets including Spain and France. Now, the brand is set to launch the foldable electric scooter in Italy. As for its India launch, it remains uncertain as of now. Xiaomi hasn’t shared any information or detail that confirms the Electric Scooter 4’s availability in India. But since India is emerging as a big market for electric vehicles, we could expect Xiaomi to introduce its electric scooter range sometime in the future.
