Komaki has launched multiple updated versions of electric scooters and motorcycles this year. This time, the two-wheeler electric automobile brand has launched the updated 2023 SE electric scooter in India. The latest variant comes with an updated battery pack and is priced starting at Rs. 96,968 in the country.

The updated 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter’s powertrain includes a 3kW electric hub motor. The latest model is refreshed with a LifePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack. With the new battery setup, the 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter’s SE Eco variant is claimed to offer 75- 90 km range, Eco mode, 110- 140 km range in Sport mode, and 150- 180 km per charge range in Turbo Mode.

As for the top speed, the 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter in SE Eco model is said to reach 55- 60 kmph. The Sport and Performance Upgrade model of the updated Komaki SE electric scooter will deliver 75- 80 kmph top speed.

Speaking of the charging, the 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter’s LifePI4 battery pack is said to take around 4- 5 hours when charged with the standard charger at home. The updated version of the two-wheeler electric scooter features alloy wheels and uses a dual disc braking system combined with anti-skid technology.

The suspension system on the 2023 Komaki SE electric scooter uses telescopic suspension upfront and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The mention of S1 Air and S1 Pro comes as a confirmation that the product being launched will join the existing lineup. Unfortunately, the exact moniker of the next OLA electric scooter is not revealed. ‘

Also, the exact date in July when OLA plans to launch the new S1 series electric scooter is also kept a mystery. We are not sure if OLA will launch the new S1 series electric scooter in the first or later half of July 2023. But we are expecting OLA to share the details soon. The pricing details of the upcoming OLA S1 electric scooter is also not known at this point and it remains to be seen if this electric scooter will be launched with a lower or higher price tag compared to the existing models.

Upcoming OLA S1 Electric Scooter Powertrain And Features

The teaser video shared on Twitter shows pod-shaped LED headlights. The pod-shaped headlight design seems to be inspired by the Android bot which is similar to the available models. Furthermore, the teaser video also shows the small windscreen that will help with wind resistance during high-speed rides.

The powertrain and feature details of the new OLA electric scooter are not confirmed. But we can expect some common features such as multiple ride modes including Eco, Normal, and Sports. The new OLA S1 electric scooter could also feature a large TFT digital instrument cluster like the previous models.

We might also see a parking assist feature in the new OLA S1 electric scooter. Do note that it is just an anticipation and we are yet to get details related to the powertrain and other key features.

Furthermore, the One Electric V2 electric bike can attain a top speed of 90 kmph. It can reach from 0 to 60 kmph within 7.5 seconds. For braking it gets disc brakes both at the front as well as rear. Also, there are multiple riding modes that the user can select from.

The One Electric Sports electric motorcycle isn’t much different from the V2 Electric. While it packs the same set of internals, it offers a higher top speed compared to the V2 electric motorcycle. Speaking of its powertrain, the One Electric Sports motorcycle variant also gets a 5 kW electric motor that can churn out over 200Nm torque. The battery capacity packed inside the One Electric Sports electric bike is 3.6 kWh which delivers 110 km per charge range. The top speed is limited to 90 kmph with this variant.

This time the brand has introduced the Volvo C40 Recharge electric coupe SUV in the country. The latest Volvo electric SUV coupe brings along a premium design language and features including 100-percent leather-free cabin interiors, approximately 530 km per charge range, and more.

Starting with the exterior, the Volvo C40 Recharge flaunts a coupe-style design stating. The slanting roofline adds to its aggressive styling along with the sporty back featuring two spoilers. Moving on to the interiors, the Volvo C40 Recharge has identical language to the Volvo XC40 which has launched last year in the Indian market.

There is a panoramic sunroof and a large 9-inch touchscreen display infotainment system powered by Android. As for the powertrain, the Volvo C40 Recharge electric SUV coupe gets a dual motor setup that is based on the CMA platform (Compact Modular Architecture).  The peak power churned out by the C40 Recharge electric is 408 bhp, while the peak torque will be 660Nm.

The electric SUV coupe will be drawing its power from a 78 kWh battery pack that is claimed to deliver 530km per charge range with each charge cycle. According to Volvo, the C40 Recharge Electric’s battery can get a full charge from zero to 100 percent within 33 minutes using a 150 kW DC fast charger.

KTM is set to foray into the electric scooter market with its own maxi-style electric scooter. The Australian motorcycle brand is well-known for its street and adventure motorcycles but is seizing the opportunity in the emerging EV space. The upcoming KTM electric scooter’s development has been confirmed by the latest test mule spotting. Here’s all the development:

The KTM maxi-style electric scooter has been spotted being tested out in the wild. Motorrrad Online has been the first to spot and share the images of the KTM Maxi-Style electric scooter’s prototype. The KTM electric scooter is being tested in the European markets currently and if we go by the reports, it is in the initial development phase.

It is worth mentioning that KTM has already showcased the electric scooter. However, the concept that KTM revealed previously looked more aggressive compared to the prototype spotted being tested on the roads.

In fact, the images show aluminum body parts including the foot pegs and the swing arm. Also, most of the body components of the KTM maxi electric scooter are possibly 3D printed. This could be specifically for the test runs and the actual model will use different body material.

If we talk of the design changes compared to the concept model then the entire frame design seems less aggressive than the one shown in the concept. The KTM electric scooter’s floorboard isn’t flat as is the case with most maxi-style electric scooter. The thickness of the floorboard suggests the battery module could be mounted on it.

The upcoming electric scooter from KTM will have a flat seat design according to the leaked prototype images. This is a practical design for longer ride comforts for both the rider and the pillion. The leaked test mule images of the KTM electric scooter show alloy wheels and disc brakes. Up front, the KTM electric scooter prototype images show also show a windscreen.

If we talk of the powertrain, the KTM maxi-style electric scooter is said to use a Bajaj-manufactured battery pack. However, the battery capacity isn’t unspecified. Rumors are rife that the KTM electric scooter will be packed with an 8kW electric motor. The peak power capacity isn’t revealed but the electric scooter will possibly offer 100 kmph top speed.

The latest Kinetic e-Luna electric moped leak shows the design language. The leaked images suggest that Kinetic has borrowed the design from the original petrol version. The electric moped will feature a slim profile combined with a tubular spine.

The e-Luna electric moped will feature flat seats similar to the petrol variant. There will be grabrails around the seat for secure rides. The Kinetic e-Luna electric moped is likely to come equipped with 16-inch spoked rimmed wheels. The braking system used by the e-Luna electric motor is said to be drum brakes both at the front and the rear.

As for the suspension system, the electric moped is expected to come with telescopic and twin shock front and rear suspension systems respectively. The electric scooter will also offer flat storage space up front. This will make the electric moped convenient and practical for daily commutes; specifically for utility riders such as delivery agents. For added security, the Kinetic e-Luna electric moped will be featuring crash and saree guards.

But similar to the petrol version it will have a pedal system that will help the riders to commute even if the battery runs out of charge. It is said to reach up to 25 kmph top speed. The single electric motor on the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra can deliver a peak power of 940W. The battery capacity packed inside the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is 561.5Wh. As per Xiaomi, this battery pack inside the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is capable of delivering a riding range of 70 km with a single charge. As for the top speed, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra can reach up to 25 kmph with a full throttle.

For suspension, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra relies on a dual shock absorption system. On the other hand, an E-ABS system is used for breaking. This Xiaomi compact foldable e-bike can take a maximum load capacity of 120 kgs. Speaking of its dimensions, the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra measures 1260 mm x 1200 mm when unfolded and 535 mm x 1200 mm x 545 mm in the folded state. Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra: Is It Launching In India?

Post its showcase during the MWC 2023 event, Xiaomi has launched the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra in a couple of markets including Spain and France. Now, the brand is set to launch the foldable electric scooter in Italy. As for its India launch, it remains uncertain as of now. Xiaomi hasn’t shared any information or detail that confirms the Electric Scooter 4’s availability in India. But since India is emerging as a big market for electric vehicles, we could expect Xiaomi to introduce its electric scooter range sometime in the future.
