Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, is preparing to launch a new smartphone in India. Recently, leaks have surfaced online, revealing the specifications of the upcoming CMF Phone (1). According to the leaks, the CMF Phone (1) is expected to have similar hardware specifications as the Nothing Phone (2a), with some design changes and a more budget-friendly approach. Display and Design
The CMF Phone (1) will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is slightly different from the Nothing Phone (2a), which has a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel but also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The CMF Phone (1) will have a plain plastic body and come in four color options: Blue, Green, Black, and an exclusive Orange shade for India.
Processor
At the core of the CMF Phone (1) is the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, paired with a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. This is the same processor found in the Nothing Phone (2a), ensuring similar performance levels. The CMF Phone (1) will likely come with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offer two storage options: 128GB and 256GB, both using UFS 2.2 technology. Additionally, it will support MicroSD cards for expanded storage. In contrast, the Nothing Phone (2a) offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage but does not support MicroSD expansion.
Camera
The leaked renders of the CMF Phone (1) show a single rear camera, but tipster @realMlgmXyysd claims it will have a dual rear camera setup. This setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and another camera in a vertical arrangement. On the front, the CMF Phone (1) will have a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. Comparatively, the Nothing Phone (2a) features a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a superior 32MP front camera.
Battery and Charging
Both the CMF Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2a) will house a 5,000mAh battery. However, the CMF Phone (1) supports 33W charging, which is slightly slower than the 45W charging offered by the Nothing Phone (2a).
Other Features
The CMF Phone (1) will run on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6 out of the box, the same operating system as the Nothing Phone (2a). Other features of the CMF Phone (1) include a replaceable plastic back cover, Nothing Lock with exclusive add-ons, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6. However, it will lack NFC support and the unique Glyph lights found on the Nothing Phone (2a).

Price and Availability
The CMF Phone (1) is expected to be priced starting at Rs. 12,000 in India and is tipped to launch in July. Its affordable price point and decent specifications make it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.
