Display specs are almost similar on all three phones which make them great for media consumption. Performance is one of the biggest upgrades these three flagship phones have recieved besides the camera. The OnePlus 13 and the iQOO 13 will be the performance beasts featuring the Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Vivo X200 Pro also has a top-of-the-line SoC from MediaTek, i.e., the Dimensity 9400.

All three phones stores massive power to complete any given tasks without noticeable lags. But the iQOO 13 is tuned specifically to handle extensive gaming when played at the highest graphic settings. And if its the overall speeds, all three phones here perform equally. OnePlus and iQOO 13 have an almost identical camera hardware with the primary setup with the rear panel comprising a triple 50MP module. The picture is slightly different with the Vivo X200 Pro which has the not just the segment’s but India’s largest mobile telephoto camera, i.e., a 200MP snapper.

The OnePlus 13 and the Vivo X200 Pro gets Hasselblad, and Zeiss-tech cameras, whereas, the iQOO 13 comes void of any such collaboration. Overall imaging quality have been improved on all three models, but the Vivo X200 Pro is the clear winner here with its massive telephoto lens that can capture some super refined ultra-zoom shots.

Mahindra just revealed the prices for the BE 6’s top trim and have now also announced the XEV 9E’s top variant’s price. The XEV 9E debuted alongside the BE 6 a few months back but only the base model’s prices were revealed back then. Similar to the BE 6, the XEV 9E will also be available in three different trims with the costs starting under Rs. 25 lakh.

Mahindra XEV 9E Variants, Prices

As mentioned above, Mahindra has launched the XEV 9E in three different variants holding the same monikers as the BE 6. The base model of the XEV 9E will be called Pack 1, the mid trim will be called Pack 2, and the top trim will be called Pack 3.

Previously, Mahindra only announced Pack 1’s prices which is Rs. 21.90 lakh (ex showroom). Now, the XEV 9E Pack 3 prices are out which is Rs. 30.50 lakh (ex showroom). Prices for the mid variant (Pack 2) are still undisclosed.

Mahindra XEV 9E Features, Powertrain

Mahindra XEV 9E is also a futuristically-designed electric SUV. However, unlike the aggressive styling of the BE 6, it takes a rather subtle approach while being built on the same INGLO platform. The XEV 9E also comes with dual battery pack options including 59 kWh and 79 kWh.

Power delivery offered by the base models featuring the smaller battery pack will be 227 bhp, while the higher spec variant will produce 282 bhp of peak power. The XEV 9E has an advanced triple screen setup on the dashboard and a new steering wheel with illuminated logo. It comes with level 2 ADAS, 360° camera, TPMS, connected car tech, and more.

Mahindra BE 6 All Variant Names, Prices

The Mahindra BE 6 will be sold in three different trims. Base model of the BE 6 is called the Pack 1, while the mid and the top trim are called Pack 2 and Pack 3 respectively. Mahindra had already revealed the prices for the Pack 1 trim at the launch which is Rs. 18.90 lakh (ex showroom). Now, the prices for the top trim, i.e., the Pack 3 is also announced. This variant will be available at Rs. 26.90 lakh ( ex showroom) in India.

It is worth adding that Mahindra has still not revealed the prices for the mid trim, i.e., the BE 6 Pack 2. Mahindra will reportedly be commencing the bookings for the BE 6 Pack 3 (top variant) from February 14, 2025 in India. The deliveries for this model will likely start from March 2025, as per the reports.

At the CES 2025, all the major tech giants are showcasing all the latest advancements and leaps re-defining the consumer tech segment. And like the last year, emphasis on EVs is evident. Sony and Honda have joined hands to launch their first electric car, the Afeela 1 EV. We saw its prototype last year being ridden via a PS 5 controller which is one of its USPs. Let’s dive into the details below:

Sony Honda Afeela 1 Electric Car: Highlights

Sony Honda Afeela 1 EV is a high-end electric car which flaunts a stylish-sports design. It is sleek and modern EV which has a plethora of advanced features including a panoramic sunroof with an immersive 3D map, and automatic power doors. The Afeela 1 EV measures 4,915 mm x 1,460 mm x 3,018 mm (length x height x wheelbase) and sits on 21-inch alloy wheels.

Unfortunately, it is not yet confirmed if the Afeela 1 EV will come with the PS 5 controller ride feature which was showcased with the prototype. Chances are Sony- Honda will clear this air sometime soon. If we speak of the advance tech used by the Afeela 1 EV, then its the 360° cameras with LiDAR, radar, and ultrasonic sensors for enhanced safety combined with ADAS.

Under its hood, the Afeela 1 EV will be using the new platform which Honda will be using for its 0 series of electric cars. It will be mounting two electric motors in each axle allowing AWD drivetrain. The Afeela 1 EV is backed by a 91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and can offer a range of around 483 km on a full charge.

Sony Honda Afeela 1 Electric Car Variants, Price, Booking Details

Sony Honda Afeela 1 electric car’s base trim is announced at $89,900 which is somewhere around Rs. 77 lakh. There is another trim called Afeela 1 Signature which is priced at $ 102,900 (approx. Rs. 61.6 lakh). Bookings for the Afeela 1 EV have commenced. However, only the customers in the US can purchase this new Sony Honda EV.

LML Star Electric Scooter: Quick Recap

LML Star electric scooter is yet to be launched officially in India. The company recently filed its patent and is expected to announce its arrival sometime soon. The LML Star electric scooter will be a maxi style electric scooter wearing a dual tone skin riding on 14-inch alloy wheels.

This upcoming e-scooter will be using swappable battery module similar to the newly launched Activa e but will also support charging. The Star electric scooter will also equip several advanced features such as hill hold assist mode, reverse mode, TPMS, and reverse mode. It will be underpinning a 5.87 kW electric motor and is said to offer up to 203 km range per charge. The top speed is said to be up to 90 kmph.

Ather, as promised, have revealed the entire new 450 e-scooter lineup updated with new features right at the beginning of 2025. The upgraded 2025 Ather 450 series scooters now offers multiple advanced ride and safety features while carrying forward the legacy of previous-gen models. What all updates have been added to the new Ather 450 e-scooters and have the pricing also increased? Let’s find out:

2025 Ather 450 Series: Variants, Features Upgrades

Ather has launched the 2025 range of 450 e-scooters loaded with new and improved features. The primarily updated models are the 450X and the 450 Apex. Both these e-scooter models have been equipped with a new Multi-Mode Traction control feature. This is s standout riding mode that brings three different modes for a safer ride including Rain, Road, and Rally.

The Rain mode will allow the e-scooter to get a better grip when the road conditions are wet, while the Road mode will enhance the overall performance and safety. On the other hand, the Rally mode will let users ride these two 450 series e-scooters easily through off-roads.

Ather Energy has also expanded the Magic Twist feature to the 450X e-scooter model which earlier was only accessible to the Rizta and 450 Apex models. This Magic Twist feature allows the riders to stop the e-scooter by twisting the throttle and without applying the brakes.

Ather has also updated AtherStack 6 with new features including Google Maps, Alexa, and Ping My Scooter option.

Latest Ather software, AtherStack 6 is packed with features like – Google Maps, Alexa, WhatsApp notification on the dashboard, which allows the rider to access messages without having to take out their smartphones: “Ping My Scooter”, so the rider can easily locate their scooters in a sea of vehicles with the help of sound and visual cues and Live location sharing, which allows riders to share their live location with a preset contact while they’re on the move.

Also all the variants in the 450 lineup will be covered under the new Eight70 warranty which offers coverage for up to 8 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first, and 70% battery health assurance up to 8 years.

2025 Ather 450 E-Scooter: Performance (Range)

Ather 450X which is the low-end model in the new lineup as well features a 3.7 kWh battery pack. This model is said to deliver an IDC claimed range of 161 km per charge. However, its real life range is expected to up to 130 km per charge.

Ather 450X model retains the same 2.9 kWh battry pack which is said to deliver an IDC claimed range of up to 126 km per charge. The Ather 450 Apex also packs a 3.7 kWh battery and the 450S variant gets a 2.9 kWh battery offering 157 km and 122 km IDC range respectively.
