WhatsApp Online Status Hide Privacy Feature Likely Coming Soon; Available For Android Beta

WhatsApp has been flooding its mobile and desktop application with numerous features. The Meta-owned instant messaging platform is constantly expanding its user base with its end-to-end encryption and improved messaging services. While WhatsApp has been updated with multiple new features, a slew of them are currently under development and likely to be released to the Android and iOS versions going forward. The hide online status feature is the latest one rumored to have entered the testing phase.

WhatsApp Online Status Hide Feature Reportedly Enters Testing Phase

There have been some rumors suggesting the upcoming WhatsApp feature that’ll let users hide online status from their contacts. Now, WABetaInfo shared a new report that confirms this new privacy WhatsApp feature going under the testing phase. The publication has shared screenshots of the online status hiding feature being tested with the WhatsApp Beta version.

The screenshots show the online status hide feature now getting tested with the Android OS. Just to recap, the same feature was previously tested with the iOS beta version. The reports were shared by WABetaInfo itself a few weeks back. Currently, the hide online status is available for the WhatsApp beta version 2.22.16.12.

With WhatsApp performing test runs of the hide online status privacy features with both Android and iOS devices, it shouldn’t be long before the final release. However, WhatsApp is currently silent with the details of the stable version’s availability. But we are expecting some confirmation soon from the company.

As for the hide online status functionality, this privacy feature will be made available alongside the Last seen privacy option. It will be clubbed with the last seen and online option. As for the users, you can hide your WhatsApp online status will be “Everyone” and “Same as last seen”. This means either you can hide when you come online on WhatsApp from all contacts or from the ones you have hidden your last seen as well.

This latest WhatsApp privacy feature has been demanded from users for a long. Currently, there is no way you can hide when you come online from any of your contacts which at times breaches your privacy when you specifically are avoiding someone. With this new privacy option, there will be no room for online stalking on WhatsApp.

Mahindra Electric SUVs To Break Cover On 15th August : More Details

Mahindra Electric is all set to showcase their future electric offerings for India and international markets next month. The virtual webcast event will take place on the 15th of August and the recently uploaded teaser video hints at as many as five different products. While these may take time getting to the showroom floors, a lot of us are waiting see more updates on these upcoming Mahindra Electric SUVs.

To be sold under the ‘Mahindra Electric’ umbrella, all of the products have been developed fresh from the ground up. This means the platforms of these e-SUVs have been designed keeping electric mobility in mind. This is much better as compared to just modifying a normal petrol / diesel product into an EV offering. A pure EV platform also takes care of battery set-up and placement, electric motor housing and does away with the need of components like an exhaust, fuel tank etc. This in turn can lead to better space management on the inside, sorted weight management, low overall weight and possibly better safety standards. This also means these SUVs will have a clear edge over other such offerings in the Indian market.

The teaser video that went online on Mahindra Electric’s social handles showcases a faint silhouette of five electric SUVs. These products vary from a full sized 3-row offering to a sportier, couple styled SUV. The former could the flagship product, as large as the XUV700 and the latter could be the EV versions of the XUV Aero showcased at the Auto Expo several years back. Officially, there is no word yet on the specs, sizes or launch time frames as of now. However it is fair to assume that the Mahindra Electric SUVs will be showcased the Auto Expo that will take place in early 2023 next year. The company will also divulge deeper into specifications, features, price range and other important information.

The new Mahindra Electric SUVs will be showcased at the Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE) studio in Oxfordshire, UK, headed by chief designer Pratap Bose. There will be a live webcast event though physical appearance of the SUVs will take place next year only. As of now, the only thing we know about are the C shaped LEDs, both at the front and the rear. Mahindra currently sells electric vehicles in the commercial space – these include the eVerito, eSupro, Treo, eAlfa and e2oPlus.

These all-new SUVs could give Mahindra a clear edge over other electric cars in India. Watch this space for more!

Worried About How To Use An Air Fryer? Here’s The Step-By-Step Guide

Air fryers can be used to shallow fry veggies in addition to making traditional fried dishes like potato chips. They are a healthier alternative to fried food since they have a comparable texture and flavor to deep-fried foods with just a tablespoon of oil. So much has been said about this cook’s best buddy. But how does it function?

How Does An Air Fryer Work?

Your air fryer is like a convection oven. It is a small but mighty appliance and you can roast, broil, or bake food in it. However, you cannot be used an air fryer to deep fry.

An air fryer has a heating element that generates heat and a blower that moves hot air around the food inside the air fryer basket. You can use a lot less oil than you could in an oven and still get the crispy dishes you want thanks to the hot air circulation.

How To Use An Air Fryer?

Step 1: Open the frying basket and arrange the vegetables, appetizers, or whatever else that you want to fry. Before placing the food in the fryer basket, make sure it has been thoroughly dried. Don’t pack the basket too tightly.

Step 2: A negligible amount of oil should be applied using an oil brush. You don’t even need to use oil while preparing non-vegetarian meals. The fatty oils from the food will be used by the air fryer to cook it.

Step 3: Depending on what you are cooking, adjust the Air Fryer’s temperature indicator and timer. Typically, it takes 10 minutes to fry veggies, compared to at least 15 minutes for non-vegetarian dishes. However, the fryer’s user handbook will also provide pre-designed menus for various dishes.

Step 4: Then, shake the contents after opening the Air Fryer basket. It will ensure that the hot air reaches every side of the food that is being cooked.

Step 5: To enhance a mouthwatering flavor, add or sprinkle oregano seasoning, spices, and several other decorative items.

Step 6: It’s time to let your taste senses go wild now that the dish is ready. And that’s all.

Using an air fryer is not rocket science. You only need to follow the above-mentioned steps and you are all done. Besides, in our previous coverage, we have also listed the best air fryers you can buy for under Rs. 10,000 which can check here.
