JSW MG Motor India’s Windsor EV has been rattled up the electric four wheeler segment ever since its launch. The intelligent Crossover Utility Vehicle became the first EV model to come with a special battery rental program (BaaS) that significantly drops down the initial buying cost. It seems that MG has been able to touch the sweet spot as it has received massive interests from the potential buyers soon after the bookings started. In fact, the Windsor EV has achieved a new booking milestone making it one of the hotshots in the mid-size EV market.

MG Windsor EV Pre-Booking Records

MG Windsor EV’s popularity in India can be assessed with the huge booking requests that the brand has received within a short span of kickstarting the pre-bookings. MG has revealed that around 15,176 bookings have already been made for its first CUV, i.e., the Windsor EV. This high booking figures explains the huge interests customers have poured in the newly launched EV in India.

MG Windsor EV Variants And Prices In India

If we speak of its pricing, the MG Windsor EV made its debut with Rs. 9.99 lakh price label. This pricing is with the battery rental service (BaaS) where customers will be charged Rs. 3.5 additionally per km . Those who wish to buy this new MG EV without the battery rental service will have to pay a starting price of Rs. 13,49,800 (ex showroom).

This is the price of the Windsor EV Exite variant, whereas, the remaining two variants called Exclusive and Essence carries a price tag of Rs. 14,49,800 and Rs. 15,49,800 respectively. The CUV has been launched in four color variants which inlcude Clay Beige, Pearl White, Starburst Black, and Turquoise Green.

BYD eMax 7 Design Highlights

BYD eMax is an MPV featuring an all electric drivetrain under its hood. It comes with both six and seven seater capacity that can be configured as per the preferences. The fascia is re-worked featuring sleek LED headlamps, angular air ducts, and a blanked-off grille. It’s overall profile is revised compared to the e6 which is now more aerodynamically-suited for an overall enhanced driving experience.

Cabin features have also been refreshed than the previous-gen model. With its new theft protection features, Google hopes to preserve your data even in the event that your phone is taken. Here are the main features they have introduced:

Theft Detection Lock

Automatically locks your phone if it detects sudden movement, like someone grabbing your device while it is unlocked
Uses sensors, Wi-Fi, and smart device connections to sense when the phone is being snatched
Works through machine learning. It recognizes if someone tries to run away on foot, bike, or car with your phone

Offline Device Lock

Activates if a thief tries to turn off the internet on your phone in order to stop tracking
If the device is being used when it is stolen, it locks the screen twice a day
It’s an added protection, especially when the phone is not connected to the internet

Remote Lock

You can visit android.com/lock from a smartphone owned by someone you can trust if yours is stolen
This allows you to remotely lock your phone by entering a phone number and passing a security check
Google says this process is faster than using the ‘Find My Device’ feature

How To Access These Features

Users can turn on these features by searching for ‘Theft protection’ in the Settings app
Alternatively, they can find it under the Google services page by selecting Personal & Device Safety.

Availability And Rollout

These features are currently in beta testing, starting in Brazil. While some users claim to have Remote Lock, others claim to have access to Theft Detection Lock and Offline Device Lock. All features are available to U.S. Pixel users on the Google Play Services beta (version 24.40.33). However, a full rollout is expected later this year across more regions.

Matter Aera Aerothon Bharat Ride: All Details

Matter Energy has flagged off the Aera’s ‘Aerothon Bharat’ ride from the Statue of Unity in Gujrat. The aim for this all India ride is to highlight and raise awareness on some of the most critical situations impacting our environment. With this new ride, the company will be emphasizing on the impact on climate change and the shifting ecosystem across the globe.

The complete distance that will be covered by the Matter Aera geared motorcycle during this Aerothon Bharat drive will be around 25,000. The e-motorcycle will be crossing around 25 cities in the country while spreading awareness on the aforementioned situations. This ride is being conducted in association with NITI Aayog’s Shoonya- Zero Pollution Mobility Campaign and is further backed by Earthday.org.

Mahindra BE05 Production Ready Model Gets Snapped During TVC Shoot

Mahindra BE05 test mules image leaks have flooded the internet. But this time, the EV is spotted in full-fledged production ready avatar and looks all futuristic as the concept. The images of the production-spec BE05 have been snapped during a TVC shoot. The images shows the design elements that the final variant retains.

The prominent design elements revealed includes the curvy body stance combined with sloping roofline, flush-fit door handles, C-shaped LED DRLs, dual-tone alloy wheels, and full-length LED light bar at the rear. As per the rumors, the BE05 will come with 2,755 mm of wheelbase and measure 4,730 mm x 1,900 mm x 1,635 mm in height (length x width x height).

The new set of leaked BE05’s images doesn’t show the cabin images. However, previous leaks have shown the presence of a new two-spoke steering wheel with multi-function keys and an illuminated BE-badging. The BE05 will also be loaded with a dual screen setup for infotainment and driver respectively and a central-console mounted rotary gear dial.

Mahindra BE 05 Performance And Range

Mahindra BE05 e-SUV will be built on the INGLO platform as revealed by the brand itself. It will come with a rear wheel drive and also dual motor all wheel drive option and offer Level 2 ADAS. It might be available with multiple battery pack options (possibly two) and will offer a range of up to 450 km on a full charge cycle.

Caches don’t take long to fill up on your smartphones; be it Android or iPhones. The iOS has two big data caches: one for Safari and another for all the rest the apps. Deleting these caches can free up space on your device, improving performance and speed. While clearing the cache in Safari is simple and quick, deleting the cache in third-party apps can be more complicated. Here we’ll show you a step-by-step guide on how to clear the cache in Safari and other apps on iPhone.

Note: Make sure you know your passwords before clearing the cache on an iPhone for Safari or any other app. You will be signed out of any websites you are currently logged into after you clear the cache files.

How To Clear The Cache From Safari

Step 1: Open the Settings menuon your respective iPhones.

Step 2: Swipe down and tap on Safari.

Step 3: Scroll down and click on the Clear History and Website Data option.

Step 4: Your iPhone will ask if you want to clear Safari’s data. Confirm your choice.

Alternatively, you can also clear data from individual websites without clearing the whole Safari cache. The steps for the same are mentioned below:

Step 1: After performing the step 2 from above, you will get the option “Advanced”. Click on it.

Step 2: Now, select “Website Data”.

Step 3: You will now get the option “Edit” at the bottom of Safari settings (or swipe from right to left to delete individual items).

Besides, if you delete website data from your iPhone, it will be deleted from all of your other Apple devices that are signed in to the same iCloud account that syncs with Safari.

How To Clear Your iPhone’s App Cache

To clear the cache from your iPhone apps, you will need to offload them. This will free up the storage space the app uses while still keeping its data and documents. All your data will be recovered once you reinstall the app.

Step 1: Go to Settings and tap General and then click on iPhone Storage.

Step 2: Wait for the page to load a list of all your apps. Once the list is generated, tap the app you want to clear and select Offload App.

Step 3: If you want to delete the app along with the files and data, you need to select Delete App instead of Offload App.

Quick tip: When you open the list of all your apps, you may notice a menu called Offload Unused Apps. Selecting Enable here will allow your iPhone to automatically offload apps that you haven’t used in a while.

The company recently announced to HyperService plans to improve the customer experience with after sales servicing and repairs. The base model offers 95 km range per charge, while the mid and top trim offers up to 143 km and 190 km range per charge respectively. The top speed of the S1X base variant is up to 85 kmph, while the top model has up to 90 kmph top speed.
