The rumor mill has been giving us a sneak peek of the upcoming premium handset. It is tipped to be in the first lot of devices that will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Now, the live images of the handset have been shared online.

Moto Edge X30 Design Officially Teased

Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo China’s mobile division shared the Moto Edge X30’s display image on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The device can be seen with a flat edge display that sports a punch-hole cutout at the center-top. Furthermore, the bezels are slim on all sides. The left panel can be seen housing a single physical key which is likely for power or is the dedicated Google Assistant key.

The current teaser shared has only revealed the Moto Edge X30’s display design. However, we might see some more of the renders in the coming days. The company executive has also shared some key display features. The Moto Edge X30’s panel will come with a 144Hz refresh rate. Only limited devices currently offer this higher refresh rate.

Additionally, the Moto Edge X30’s panel will have HDR 10+ certification and 10-bit color support. However, this teaser doesn’t reveal the display size or the panel type. But the remaining hardware features have been tipped via TENAA and other sources.

As per the leaks, the Moto Edge X30 will be available with up to 16GB RAM LPDDR5 RAM combined with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will boot on Android 11 OS. The device is expected to come with a massive 6.67-inch display. The panel is said to be OLED.

The camera specifications are speculated to be a 50MP main camera at the back along with a 5MP, and a 2MP sensor. The company is apparently emphasizing the selfie experience. Oppo recently unveiled its much-anticipated premium range Reno 7 series in China. The Reno 7 SE, Reno 7 Pro, and the vanilla Reno 7 have debuted as tipped via the leaks. Now, the brand has already started working on the next lot of smartphones for the masses. A bunch of Oppo-labeled handsets has already started making appearances online. Joining the bandwagon is another mystery Oppo smartphone which has been stopped by TENAA. The listed design and the spec-sheet hint at an affordable device.

The latest Oppo handset which has cleared its certification via TENAA bears the PESM10 model number. The certification website has listed not just the key features but also the design of the front and the back panel. Starting things off with the design, this mystery Oppo phone can be seen with a punch-hole display. The camera cutout is positioned in the upper left position.

The Oppo PESM10’s rear panel image shows a dual-tone finish. A vertical camera module can be seen on the top left corner housing two large sensors. The placement of the volume keys on the left spine and the power key on the left panel is also confirmed by the leaked image. Also, the power key integrates a fingerprint scanner for biometrics.

What About The Oppo PESM10’s Specifications?

As per the TENAA listing, the Oppo PESM10 will be powered by an octa-core processor. The name of the chipset is not revealed neither the brand (MediaTek or Qualcomm) is confirmed. However, the configuration details are revealed. This unnamed Oppo smartphone is said to come with 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage and 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage options.

Other details revealed by the TENAA listing include the display and camera specifications. The former is said to measure 6.56-inches in size sporting a punch-hole camera cutout. The panel type and screen resolution are not revealed just yet. Therefore, we can’t confirm if this Oppo handset will be coming with an FHD+ or a standard HD+ display.

The optics here are said to feature dual sensors at the rear. The main camera will be a 13MP lens which will be aided by a 2MP depth sensor. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to be priced starting at EUR920/GBP 776 in the European market. This is the cost of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option that is roughly equivalent to Rs. 78,000 in Indian currency. On the other hand, the device is also said to come with an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option which will be retailing at EUR985/GBP 831 which is approximately Rs. 83,000.

Notably, the publication has only shared the pricing details of the above two variants. There is no information available on whether the Galaxy S21 FE will have any higher RAM variant or not. However, a 12GB RAM variant has also been tipped by leaks in the past. The report also suggests four color options including black, pink, green, and white.

Vivo has been expanding its ‘V’ smartphone lineup across the globe. The V23e 5G is one of the latest models which has been introduced in Thailand. Now, the company is expected to bring this lineup to the Indian shores as well. The upcoming model tipped to launch is the Vivo V23 5G. Following is what all we can expect from the latest Vivo entrant:

Vivo V23 5G India Launch Imminent

The Vivo V23 5G is said to debut this month itself in India. 91Mobiles in association with tipster Yogesh Brar has shared this launch timeline for the next affordable 5G Vivo phone. The device will have upgraded hardware compared to its predecessor, i.e, the Vivo V21 5G. Also, the report suggests the company will be introducing the V23 Pro following the standard model.

However, there is no confirmation on the Pro model’s launch details as of now. That said, the exact date for the vanilla Vivo V23 5G’s lunch is also unspecified. Therefore, it remains to be seen if the company brings this new mid-range 5G smartphone by mid or later this month. We will keep you posted with the details of the upcoming launch.

As far as the hardware is concerned, the device might have a similar set of features as the Vivo V23e 5G which recently went official in Thailand. There might be slight differences in the hardware between both V23 5G and V23e 5G, but they’d be likely minimal. Vivo has been most proactive with smartphones in its affordable “Y” series this year. This lineup has been received multiple 5G-enabled devices in recent times. The Vivo Y76 5G and the Vivo Y74s 5G are amongst the latest entrants in this budget-friendly Vivo smartphone series. But the brand isn’t stopping anytime soon as the upcoming “Y” series launches. We recently camera across TENAA listing confirming the Y32 and Y55s features. Now, the vanilla Vivo Y55 has been benchmarked indicating an upcoming launch.

Vanilla Vivo Y55 5G Also In Works

The Vivo Y55 5G has made a fresh sighting at the popular mobile benchmark website Geekbench. The device’s listing has been first spotted by Mysmartprice. The screenshot of the Vivo Y55 5G listing shared by the publication has revealed the key specifications along with the V2127 codename. This same model number was earlier listed on the IMEI website which hinted at an imminent India launch.

Now coming to the leaked spec-sheet, the benchmark website mentions the MediaTek ARM MT6833V/ZA chipset driving the Vivo Y55 5G. Notably, this processor is otherwise marketed as the Dimensity 700 SoC. It is an entry-level octa-core 5G processor by MediaTek that supports Mali G57 MC2 GPU to handle the graphics. Furthermore, this chipset features six Cortex A55 cores with a clock speed of 2.00GHz and two Cortex A76 cores clocking at up to 2.2GHz.

According to Geekbench, the upcoming Vivo Y55 5G will be launched with an 8GB RAM configuration. There is no confirmation just yet if there will be any other RAM variant arriving alongside the aforementioned model. Also, the storage capacity isn’t mentioned on Geekbench, but we might see 128GB onboard memory. Other details revealed by the Geekbench database include the Android 11 OS firmware which we believe would be topped with a custom FunTouch OS interface.

As far as the benchmark scores are concerned, the Vivo Y55 5G has managed to log 430 points in the single-core test. On the other hand, the device managed to achieve 1,438 points in the multi-core test. The Vivo Y55 5G’s arrival details are under the wraps as of now.
