A tipster going by yeux1122 have revealed some interesting details related to the upcoming iPhone 17 Air. The leaker has shared the insight on the Korean blog platform Naver inclduing iPhone 17 Air’s display, body weight and the battery capacity. If we believe the tipster, the iPhone 17 Air will be featuring a 6.6-inch display. The panel details have not been leaked but we can expect it to be similar to that of its older siblings (iPhone 17 lineup).
The screen size seems to have bumped up for the iPhone 17 Air, but still it is tipped to retain an ultra thin profile. It is said to come with around 145 gms of weight making it one of the lightest iPhone 17 models but similar to that of the iPhone 13 mini and the older-gen iPhone SE 2.
Now, the most interesting detail, the battery pack. According to the tipster, the iPhone 17 Air will come with a 2,800 mAh battery. It is anticipated that Apple could integrate high-density battery pack inside the iPhone 17 Air. While the battery size gets reduced, the high-density package could be adding on to its backup by up to 15- 20 percent.
Apple could stick to the single camera setup for the iPhone 16 Air to maintain its slim profile. There are rumors that suggest the iPhone 17 Air might come with a 48MP rear and a 24MP front camera setup. But there is still no confirmation on this from Apple, hence, we would suggest you to wait for the official announcements.

Samsung has reworked the design approach with the Galaxy S25 series while keeping the familiarities at its place. The new Galaxy S series phones get Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection which is scratch-resistant and anti-reflective glass ceramic cover material adding durability to mobile devices. All three Galaxy S25 series phones feature the floating camera island at the rear with the big camera rings featuring a linear alignment.
Both Samsung Galaxy S25 and the S25+ feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate. However, the standard Galaxy S25 supports FHD+ resolution, while the Galaxy S25+ supports QHD+ resolution.
Camera setup has been upgraded with the new-gen Galaxy S25 series. Both the vanilla Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ feature a 50MP wide angle main lens accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
Qualcomm’s this year’s flagship mobile chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is powering the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+. Both these phones boots on Android 15 OS and will come with OneUI 7 interface pre-installed.
Vivo started its inning in the budget 5G smartphone segment with the Series T and expanded this lineup earlier this year with the T3 5G. Within a few months, the Chinese OEM is back with its older sibling, i.e., the Vivo T3 Pro. The latest Vivo offering has entered the highly competitive mid-range segment with a starting price range below Rs. 25,000. And we do see some significant improvements in the hardware. But how well this phone fairs when used as a daily driver? At Giznext, we got a chance to review the Vivo T3 Pro 5G and if this phone has got your interest, do check the pros and cons before you settle for the final deal.

The Vivo T3 Pro 5G has evolved massively in terms of design and its all premium this time. Specifically, if you go for the Sandstone Orange version which personally we liked due to the vegan leather back finish. The T3 Pro 5G is also available in Emerald Green option which offers a glass-like finish and is as premium as the Sandstone variant.
The big squarish camera module with metallic layout housing dual camera lens and a flash. What we additionally liked about its design is the ultra slim form factor despite the beefy 5,500 mAh battery package. This along with the curved edges allows a decent grip and comfortable usage with single hand.
Besides, the rounded edges makes more room for the screen upfront offering an almost bezel-less design and maximum screen surface for content consumption. Ports and keys have got the usual positioning. Both power and the volume adjusters are on the right spine, while the SIM card tray, USB Type-C port, and the speaker grille gets bottom panel mounting. Overall, the T3 Pro 5G is definitely one of the classy-looking handsets in its league while balancing the practicality with its handling.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G has an advanced screen panel which surely elevates the video playback and gaming experience. The curved AMOLED screen is tall and measures 6.77-inches supporting an FHD+ resolution. The visual response is further enhanced with the 120Hz refresh rate and its 4500 nits of peak brightness.
It easily is amongst the most bright display panels in the mid-range segment which ensures you don’t strain your eyes while watching content under harsh sunlight. With the OTT streaming platforms too, the visuals have been a treat making us binge on our favorite shows and movies.
While the curved display is visually appealing, it is slightly prone to accidental touches. But that’s can be avoided with careful handling. That said of the video playback, the gaming visuals are also top notch. You can play intensive action games while enabling the HD settings.
No frame drops have been experienced during such game play sessions. Since this is an AMOLED screen, you also get an integrated fingerprint scanner. The in-display fingerprint lock is quick and responsive with device unlocking making it a safe barrier protecting privacy.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G with its octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 5G chipset is a performance beast. For a mid-range phone, performance delivery is one the core USPs which the T3 Pro 5G addresses quite well. The T3 Pro’s SD 7 Gen 3 SoC gets Adreno 720 GPU which as per Vivo has allowed the handset to achieve better performance overall. The chipset is not just efficient but also fast making the T3 Pro 5G quicker with operations.
Apps boot up almost instantly with a tap and there’s hardly any sluggish user experience while performing different tasks on the apps. Multitasking too is swift when you use the T3 Pro 5G. Despite several apps open in the background, you can switch without any flinches.
The T3 Pro 5G is full capable of handling high-end games. And if you are an FPS shooting game fanatic, you’ll be impressed with the devices’s capabilities to run graphic-extensive games. You can use the dedicated gaming mode for further refinements and enhancements with the gaming experience. We also tested the handset using 3D Mark and Geekbench benchmark platforms. The screenshots are attached for reference.
The T3 Pro is again one the few phones in the segment to be backed up by a 5,500 mAh battery setup. Within less than an hour, you can get the device charged completely from 0- 100 percent. Thanks to the bundled 80W fast charger. As far as the backup’s concerned, the beefy setup has got it covered as you’ll need a replug only by the end of the day if the usage has been extensive.
Vivo T3 Pro is definitely one of the striking packages with a price value starting below Rs. 25,000. In fact, its spec-sheet can be considered the best in the segment. But with the RAM configuration being limited to 8GB, this handset’s full potential couldn’t be unleashed in our opinion. While it is efficient with multitasking, faster speed would have made it the hard-to-miss deal collectively. Thankfully, the brand is providing options with the onboard storage space. The T3 Pro 5G is available with both 128GB and 256GB native storage capacity.
The Vivo T3 Pro ships with dual rear camera sensors where the primary lens is a 50MP Sony IMX582 sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and OIS. Combined with it is an 8MP sensor which is an ultra-wide sensor featuring an aperture length of f/2.2.
As you would expect with Vivo, the cameras are good with detailing; specifically when the shots are clicked in suitable lighting conditions. The dynamic range is high and the camera does a great job with preserving natural colors and tones.
However, the reason it gets listed in this section is the fact that it comes void of a dedicated sensor for depth mapping. We already have mentioned how clear its photos are. In fact, the portrait shots with AI are also decent. But a dedicated sensor would have helped with more refinements.
The camera performance of the T3 Pro is definitely satisfactory. Even the 16MP selfie snapper clicks vibrants images that you can exhibit online at social media platforms. For content creators too, the T3 Pro’s 4K video recording with decent stabilizations works in favor.
This seems to be the common con for mid-range Android phones nowadays as most of the OEMs apparently are doing away with the 3-way SIM slot. The only drawback here is that you are unable to use two SIM cards and an external SD Card simultaneously.
Again, this is common con in our opinion. However, over the years we have seen the smartphone brands working on providing a cleaner UI. And with the added AI features, the usage is surely improving. However, the pre-loaded bloatware if removed completely will be an added bonus.
Well, if your budget isn’t exceeding Rs. 25,000 and you are looking for an all-rounder daily driver, the T3 Pro 5G is a solid bet. Vivo has improved the overall quality of the Series T gradually and finally seems to have ticked all the boxes with the T3 Pro 5G.

OPPO has revived it’s iconic portrait master Reno series in India. The all new Reno 12 Pro is the brand’s latest bet in the premium mid-tier segment that targets audience with a hook for mobile photography. OPPO is trying to take a bite of the AI era with the Reno 12 series and the new models are all advanced when we speak of camera potential. OPPO is aspiring to make AI accessible to the masses and has incorporated both Reno 12 5G and the Reno 12 Pro 5G with advanced AI tech. But has OPPO maintained the consistency with providing the best-in-class user experience with the Reno 12 5G series? We have got our hands-in the newly launched Reno 12 5G and here we are doing a quick review of the unit.
Reno 12 series continues to wear a premium and luxurious skin while meeting all the ergonomic requirements. The vanilla Reno 12 5G gets a fluid design where the back panel has water rippling effect. We received the Sunset Peach shade which does get a the unique appeal. You can also select Astro Silver and Matte Brown shades if your preference is a subtle and classy look.
The camera island plays a vital role in improving the aesthetics. It’s rectangular module with metallic framing housing three large camera lenses. Also, the Reno 12 5G is a slim handset which is convenient with single hand usage. Volume and the power key has the standard positioning on the right spine.
The same goes for the USB Type-C port and the SIM slot both of which are housed at the bottom. Up front too, the Reno 12 5G looks all premium with the thin bezel profile and a tiny punch-hole cutout at the center top. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection is added for the glass safety.
Keeping the looks aside, OPPO has suggested using antenna layout throughout the phone’s frame which will aid with better network reception even in remotest of location. For durability, the Reno 12 5G series gets Sponge Bionic construction combined with strong allow framework. Now, this is something which adds bonus points for the Reno 12 series design.
Reno series has been a trendsetter in the portrait camera race. And OPPO has once again tucked the class-leading imaging hardware inside both the new Reno 12 5G phone. Also, camera is the primary differentiating factor between the vanilla and the Pro model. Speaking of which, the Reno 12 5G variant which we have received for review gets a 50MP primary sensor which has an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. There is an 8MP secondary sensor which is an ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 112° FoV along with a 2MP lens with an f/2.4 aperture and 89° FoV.
This time OPPO has enhanced the camera prowess of the Reno 12 series by integrating AI. The primary sensor captures true detailing when the photographs are captured in broad daylight. No overexposure is witnessed. In fact, the dynamic range maintains a decent balance overall. As expected, portrait is one of the key specialities of the Reno 12 series and the vanilla model fair well here.
It manages to click natural bokeh shots. Wide-angle frames with the dedicated 8MP lens are well-captured too with ample clarity levels overall. We found the camera performance impressive during low-light conditions. AI can be credited here once again for the improved night camera performance. The camera app hosts a dedicated Night Mode which once enabled can click almost distortion-free images.
With the Reno 12 5G, you’ll get a whole range of shooting modes including Pro, Portrait, Extra HD, Panorama, etc. Video recorded by the Reno 12 5G is 4k @ 30fps (max) and 720p @ 30fps (min). The quality of the recorded videos is high-res thanks to the EIS and OIS stabilizations which helps upgrading the final output.
The Reno 12 5G variant gets a 32MP selfie lens which has an F/2.0 aperture. It offers a pleasant experience while clicking self-portraits. All the details are snapped to the point making the selfies look all natural.
As we highlighted, OPPO is aspiring to expand AI access to the masses. The Reno 12 5G has multiple AI-centric features that will bring all the peace with smartphone usage. The AI camera features including AI Eraser, AI Best Face, AI Clear Face, AI Studio, and AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 helps this device redefine the entire photography experience.
Whereas, the AI Linkboost and AI Beaconlink comes as a game changer with network connectivity and calling. The latter allows making calls even when the device is in airplane mode. On the other hand, AI Recording summary and AI Toolbox features helps with managing professional tasks and more.
The Reno 12 5G has the Dimensity 7300 Energy processor. This MediaTek octa-core SoC uses 4nm fabrication combining four Cortex-A78 high-performance and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. Graphic delivery is taken care off by the Mali-G615 GPU, while the multitasking is handled by the sole 8GB RAM.
This phone also offers additional RAM via the enhanced RAM feature which further boosts the speeds. Storage option is also single, i.e., 256GB which will be sufficient for all the captured and downloaded media files. The chipset overall is efficient with gaming as well. We have currently tested with a handful of fps and racing games and can say it has enough punch to keep the adrenaline gushing.
The Reno 12 5G employs a 5,000 mAh typical battery under its hood. The large size battery allows it to last an entire day. We were able to get this backup with moderate usage which included occasional social media app scrolling, video playback and gaming tuning on the highest settings, and a few hours of constant music playback. The phone supports 80W fast charging which helped with a full refuel under an hour.
OPPO is getting stronger with its display game. The Reno 12 5G is loaded with a massive 6.7-inch screen where the panel used is AMOLED. The screen resolution supported is FHD+, while the refresh rate and brightness levels are 120Hz and 1200 nits respectively. A Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the panel from scratches and drops. The screen is vivid and clear with it producing balanced colors. Brightness levels are adequate too without you struggling outdoors to watch content on-the-go.
Amongst the only few cons which we could be subjective is the single RAM and storage option. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is the only configuration option that you get with the Reno 12 5G model. OPPO has made up for this by offering virtual RAM feature but an additional variant would have opened p choices for the consumers.
This is one of the few shortcomings that the Reno 12 5G has. Its hybrid SIM slot allows using only one SIM card and one microSD card simultaneously. But this can be overlooked if you own a single SIM card and don’t plan to buy an additional.
Vivo’s latest V series offering is in town — the V30e. Positioned below the V30 and the V30 Pro, the newest member retains a camera-centric approach as its siblings. But with the slim design and decent spec-sheet, it is targeting premium mid-tier consumers. The Vivo V30e has been priced at Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 29,999 for the 128GB and 256GB storage variant respectively. But at this price range does this offer a fair deal? Giznext has managed to test the V30e and here you can read the review in pointers. Should you consider buying this new Vivo V series phone? Here’s our take:
The Vivo V30e flaunts the same luxury attire as its older siblings. It comes in dual color options including Silk Blue and Velvet Red. We received the latter which is all luxurious and with its sleek form factor and smooth gradient textured ribbon finish. The rear panel is smudge resistant and also is able to manage keep fingerprints impressions at bay. But we still will advise to use the transparent case to keep the rear protected from scratches.
The camera module is round and protruding comprising dual sensors and an aura LED ring light. This is the USP of the V30 series including V30e. You’ll also like the curved edges seamlessly blending with the front profile. Ports and keys are restricted to the left and bottom panel with the power and volume keys on the former and the USB Type-C, SIM slot, and the speaker grille on the latter. Overall, the V23e will steal the show.
The V30e sports a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED screen. We found this to be another highlight of the V30e considering you get smooth and clear visuals throughout the screen time. The screen supports an FHD+ resolution and also 120Hz refresh rate.
The color production is crisp overall and the viewing angles with the 3D curved panel is good. Our testing included high-res video playback at different OTT platforms and also via the offline library. With streaming websites, the experience has been fairly good and you hardly witness the quality going for a toss. The same experience is with gaming too.
With the V30e, Vivo has once again showcased its camera prowess. Despite being the entry-level model in the V30 series, the V30e equips solid camera sensors both at the rear and front for a rich photography experience. The setup at the rear comprises a 50MP main Sony IMX 882 lens which is combined with an 8MP ultrawide lens.
We have seen the same primary camera lens on the remaining V30 series models and you can expect the same high clarity levels with this unit. The primary sensor has both AF and OIS support and combined with the new vivo HD portrait algorithm, the output is enhanced. Initial testing shows promising camera performance.
Even the portrait and night shots show good results overall. 4K video recording is another impressive feature offered by the V30e’s cameras. Be it for content creation or capturing moments, the V30e’s cameras will please the shutterbugs. Another big highlight is the studio quality Smart Aura light flash which not just helps capturing low- light shots but also add ambient lighting effects to the clicks.
Vivo V30e is launched in dual configurations. While it comes with two storage variants, RAM option is kept single. This is the only con for the consumers who wish to buy a unit with higher RAM capacity. But the performance isn’t compromised much. With the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset paired up with 8GB RAM, you can expect fairly good performance be it for general app usage or gaming. Multitasking experience is fairly decent with the handset delivering less lags and hiccups during extensive usage.
Charging Speeds Slightly Higher Would Have Been A Better Deal
Now, the Vivo V30e gets a beefy 5,500 mAh battery. And considering its an ultra slim device, this big battery setup is indeed a perk. However, the handset comes with only 44W fast charging support. While this isn’t a slow charging speed, a 67W or higher charging would have made it the best deal for its price point. Nevertheless, you can expect a good backup despite heavy usage and would need fewer re-plugs throughout the day.
Vivo V30e is apparently a mixed bag which can be great deal for the users looking for a complete package under Rs. 30,000. This phone fits for all modern consumers who need entertainment and performance aspects being met by a single device. While there are a few drawbacks such as not so super-fast charging and a cluttered UI, the V30e overall pits itself as a solid unit as a daily driver.
