HMD Global has been strengthening its portfolio in the Android mobile space with the launch of new Nokia-labelled smartphones. The company has launched multiple new Nokia phones in India and other global markets in the last few years. This year as well, several Nokia smartphones have already debuted in the country catering to different sets of audiences. Now, another Nokia handset has cleared its certification from FCC in the US. Called the Nokia Style+, the upcoming mid-range phone’s online certification hints at the arrival details along with some of the key specifications.

Nokia Style+ Gets Certified Yet Again; When Is It Launching?

The Nokia Style+ has now bagged its certification via FCC in the US. The upcoming mid-range Nokia phone has cleared its certification with the TA-1448 model number. This isn’t the first time the Nokia Style+ has been spotted online. It earlier cleared its certification from China’s CQC (China Quality Certification) bearing the same model number. Also, the device previously made sightings at the Wi-Fi Alliance mobile authentication portal with the TA-1448 model number.

Now moving on to the details shared by the FCC database, the Nokia Style+ will be backed with modern-day features including a 5G network support. The listing suggests the upcoming Nokia phone will feature support for multiple 5G NR bands. The certification website also shares the dimension details of the upcoming Nokia phone. The Style+ will have 76.4mm width and 166.1mm height.

Moreover, the Nokia Style+ FCC database also gives insight into the camera hardware. As per the certification website, the upcoming Nokia phone will have three cameras at the rear panel placed in a vertical array. The device will feature a 48MP main camera which will be combined with an ultrawide angle lens measuring 5MP. There Nokia Style+ will also feature an additional 2MP sensor for depth mapping.

The Nokia Style+ FCC certification website listing further hints at a 16MP camera for selfies and video calling. This selfie snapper will be tucked inside a punch-hole camera cutout at the front. The upcoming Nokia phone will also feature an LCD screen. However, the display size, screen resolution, and refresh rate are not revealed just yet. Lastly, the FCC database suggests the Nokia Style++ will feature a 4,900 mAh battery unit which will likely have fast charging support. However, this detail is not revealed by the FCC database just yet.

This time, the ROG Phone 6 series will be refreshing this lineup in the coming month. The device just got certified by TENAA where all its specification details have been tipped. Now, the ROG Phone 6 has paid its visit to Geekbench which not only confirms the final test run but also the chipset and benchmark scores.

Asus ROG Phone 6 Geekbench Results Out

The Asus ROG Phone 6 Geekbench listing mentions the AI2201_F model number. The recent TENAA listing of the flagship Asus gaming phone revealed the same model number. The Geebench database has listed an octa-core processor with a base frequency of 2.02Ghz. While the exact chipset name is not mentioned, we already know it’s the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that will be handling all the tasks and also cater to the extensive gaming requirements.

The Geekbench listing also confirms the Adreno 730 GPU support with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor on the ROG Phone 6. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing confirms a 16GB RAM configuration. It is worth mentioning that the company is also said to launch the ROG Phone 6 with a higher 18GB RAM capacity as well.

But the benchmark website doesn’t reveal any clues about this variant and also the expected storage capacities. Besides the chipset and RAM, the ROG 6 gaming phone’s Geekbench listing has also suggested Android 12 OS. This we will likely see topped with a custom user interface. Lastly, the benchmark scores, the ROG Phone 6 has logged some impressive scores in the test run.

In the single-core Geekbench test, the ROG Phone 6 achieved 1323 points. On the other hand, the upcoming gaming handset scored 4,238 points in the multi-core test. The benchmark website has revealed only these details related to the upcoming Asus ROG series gaming phone. But thanks to the recent TENAA listing, all the remaining ROG Phone 6 features are also known.

Starting with the front, the ROG Phone 6 is rumored to be equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED screen which will support 1080p FHD+ screen resolution and a massive 165Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature a 64MP triple rear camera module for primary optics. The device is also said to come with an improved linear X-axis motor and VC colling chamber. A 6,000 mAh battery along with 65W fast charging is expected to keep the lights on.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord series phone is rumored to be the brand’s first premium mid-tier phone driven by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. The upcoming Nord series phone was listed alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and the OnePlus 10R. The remaining two models have been introduced in the Indian market already.

It is worth mentioning that the OnePlus Nord 2T’s official website listing was later taken down. Thanks to the screenshot, we know OnePlus indeed is planning to launch the Nord 2T soon in the Indian market. As per the tweet, the OnePlus Nord 2T will be launched in the Indian market on July 1, 2022. The tipster further suggests the first sale of the latest Nord series phone is scheduled for July 5 in the country.

Speaking of the prices, the OnePlus Nord 2T is said to retail with an asking price of Rs. 28,999 in India. This will be the price of the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The Nord 2T will also be available with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration which is said to cost Rs. 33,999 in the country.

The OnePlus Nord 2T key specifications are known since it has already marked its debut in the Indian market. The Reno Pro global model recently made sightings at the benchmark website Geekbench. Now, its India availability has been tipped once again online.

Tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the upcoming launch timeline for the Reno8 Pro. According to the tweet shared by the leakster, the Reno 8 Pro will be arriving sometime in mid-July in the Indian market. The tipster only mentions of the Reno8 Pro with MarisiliconX heading to the country.

In addition to the Pro model, OPPO will also be bringing the vanilla Reno8 to the Indian shores. There is no word on the Reno8 Pro+ models’ availability as of now. The OPPO Reno8 Pro will be the high-end model in the upcoming Reno8 series which will use the MariSilicon X NPU and ship with Android 12 OS wrapped with ColorOS interface. It will be available with up to 12GB RAM and a 256GB native storage option. The Reno8 Pro will be flaunting a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with 1080P FHD+ resolution, HDR10+ certification, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Reno8 Pro will be launched with three rear cameras including a 50MP main lens, an ultrawide sensor (8MP), and a macro lens (2MP). The device will use a 32MP selfie snapper and offer an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The Reno8 Pro will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery unit and will come with 80W fast charging support.

On the other hand, the standard Reno8 is expected with the same battery setup as the Pro model. However, it will be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset along with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The display panel will be AMOLED here as well but will support a lower 90Hz refresh rate.

The Nothing Phone 1’s transparent back design has already created hype in the smartphone market. The live hands-on video of the first Nothing smartphone shared by tech YouTuber MKBHD shows how the device looks in real life. Ever since the official teasers showcasing the design started floating online, users have been pointing out the resemblance with iPhones. However, the hands-on video shows the Nothing Phone (1) unique design with a compact form factor.

The frames are flat and the front panel has a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The transparent back panel has LED rings that make it stand out from the crowd. The first Nothing Android phone will be arriving as a premium mid-range phone that will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The smartphone could come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ screen resolution.

The Nothing Phone (1) might offer up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration and ship with Android 12 OS. Notably, a fresh Geekbench listing of the Nothing Phone (1) shared by tipster Mukul Sharma has suggested the Snapdragon 778G gaming chipset. Now, we are not sure which processor will exactly power the Nothing Phone (1) and expect some clarity from the brand on the same. Previously, this handset cleared 3C mobile certification in China with the same model number. Going by the TENAA listing, it is clear Asus is setting new standards in the premium smartphone league.

The Asus TENAA listing mentions a humongous 6.78-inch display panel. The display type would be AMOLED. While the screen refresh rate is not listed, a 165Hz refresh rate is tipped. With this the ROG Phone 6 will be one of the first flagship Android phones in the market to deliver such a high display refresh rate.
