Ola Electric has started production of the Roadster X electric motorcycle in India. Company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, via an official post on microblogging website X (perviously Twitter), revealed this development around the upcoming electric motorcycle. The image shared in the post shows the Roadster X motorcycle’s chassis, battery, and the motor pack getting assembled on the production bay.

Ola Electric will be commencing the Roadster X’s deliveries by the end of January 2025 or early 2025. The prices for Ola’s first electric motorcycle were announced last year itself which starts under Rs. 90,000 (ex showroom). There are three different trims of this electric motorcycle equipped with different battery capacities. As of now, bookings have not started for the Roadster X e-motorcycle. Considering the deliveries will begin soon we can expect announcements for the pre-reservations as well.

Ola Electric Motorcycle Powertrain
Ola Roadster X is an entry-level electric motorcycle powered by an 11 kW motor combined with a 2.5 kWh, a 3.5 kWh, and a 4.5 kWh battery pack option. This electric motorcycle will give a maximum range of 200 km (4.5 kWh variant) and can jump to a max speed of 124 kmph. It will come with disk brake with Combi Braking System (CBS) handling braking duties. The Roadster X electric motorcycle has a 4.3-inch LCD display loaded with MoveOS 5 and supports three riding models Sports, Normal, and Eco.
