Royal Enfield, the Indian two wheeler manufacturer is setting up roadmap for its EV revolution in India. The company will be foraying into the EV segment with the Flying Flea E-motorcycle. Showcased at the EICMA 2024, the first Royal Enfield electric motorcycle’s India launch is confirmed. The development is confirmed by B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield recently.
The company has set up an all-new division for its electric two-wheeler aspirations, which will be built in India at the brand’s EV manufacturing facility in Vallam Vadagal, Tamil Nadu.

Flying Flea C6 India Availability Revealed
During the company’s Q3 FY2025 financial results conference call, B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield confirmed the company’s plan to launch the first electric motorcycle – Flying Flea C6 in March 2026 in India. This would mark Royal Enfield’s debut in the E2W (electric motorcycle) segment.
In a statement, Govindarajan quoted, ” “Around the first quarter of 2026 will be the time where it will be hitting the market.”
Prices of the Flying Flea C6 are not disclosed but it’s expected to be premium offering priced under Rs. 3 lakh. It will only get the BMW CE and the Ultraviolet F77 electric two wheeler rivals with its expensive price tag in the domestic markets.

Flying Flea C6 Electric Motorcycle Manufacturing
The Flying Flea C6, which was unveiled at EICMA 2024, reminiscent vintage models’ design that were used in the World War II, while incorporating all-electric underpinnings. Royal Enfield is setting up an entirely new EV division and will.be manufacturing the Flying Flea C6 at its Vallam Vadagal facility in Tamil Nadu, India. Reports suggests, Royal Enfield’s vision is big with its EV portfolio and the company could manufacture up to 1.5 lakh units per year to meet the demands of the consumers.
Royal Enfield’s foray into the electric vehicle market is a significant step for the company, and the Flying Flea C6 is expected to play a key role in its future growth. The company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in its investment in electric vehicle technology and its plans to expand its electric motorcycle lineup in the future.
