Vivo Launches X Fold Plus Smartphone With 50MP Main Lens, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC: See All Details Here

Vivo has finally announced the launch of the Vivo X Fold Plus smartphone in China. The Vivo X Fold Plus smartphone is known as the successor of the Fold phone that was launched earlier this year. However, the newly launched smartphone comes with faster charging, Android 12 OS out of the box, and better SoC.

Vivo X Fold Plus Smartphone: Price

The 12GB + 256GB variant of the Vivo X Fold Plus is priced at CNY 9,999 which is close to Rs. 1,15, 000, whereas the 12GB + 512GB variant that is closed to Rs. 1,25,000. The devices come in three colors Black, Red, and Blue color options. In addition, the devices will be available from September 29th, 2022.

Vivo X Fold Plus Smartphone: Specifications

The Vivo X Fold Plus features the same design as the predecessor; however, the device comes in a Red shade that looks vibrant. It has an 8.03-inch primary display, 2K+ (1916 x 2160 pixels) resolution, and an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Plus, there is a 6.53-inch secondary panel, AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and Full-HD+ (1080 x 2520 pixels).

In addition, the smartphone comes with a Game Mode, which increases the touch sampling rate of the display 240Hz. There is a fingerprint scanner for security along with facial recognition support. Besides, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Additionally, the RAM and storage have been used by the company are LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1.

On the optics front, the device comes with a quad-core camera on the back, including a 50MP primary lens, 48MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP portrait lens, and a 2MP periscope unit. Plus, the periscope camera comes with a 5x optical zoom along with OIS support. You will also find a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Moreover, the foldable smartphone comes with a 4,730mAh battery along with 80W wired fast charging support. It also supports 50W wireless charging support along with 50W wireless charging support. In addition, the device runs Android 12 OS out of the box along with an OriginOS Ocen custom skin on top.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone has NFC, GPS support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, and transferring data without any 3.5mm headphone jack.
