Epson LQ-1310 Single Function Dot Matrix Printer

Epson has been experimenting with new designs and bringing some practical designs to the table. The LQ-1310 despite featuring a wide frame doesn’t feel bulky. It is amongst the most lightweight printers that you can buy in the market today. The single-function Dot Matrix printer features standard wired connectivity. The power switch is placed right at the bottom right. At the top is the paper feeding tray and on the right is the small wheel for manual paper ejecting. It also has a control panel that allows users to change the print settings for easy usage. The Epson LQ-1310 measures 43 x 36 x 22 cm in dimensions and has around 6kgs of weight.

The Epson LQ-1310 works on impact dot matrix technology to print papers It uses a bi-directional printing format and uses 24 pinheads across 36 printable columns. This single-function dot-matrix printer offers high printing speeds that make it perfect for professional workspaces that require high volumes of prints. The Epson LQ-1310 single function dot matrix printer as the name suggests is solely designed for printing purposes unlike modern days all-in-one printers. You don’t get the option to scan any document or xerox, and fax. The Epson dot matrix printer’s ribbon life is around 3 million characters (for a 10 cpi draft and 24 dots per character). It takes care of the mass printing requirements by offering 416 characters per second of speed. Since this is a single-function impact dot matrix printer, it doesn’t come with auto duplex printing. 

The Epson LQ-1310 is a standard wired printer that has a built-in USB. It comes sans wireless connectivity. It also doesn’t feature any advanced mobile app connectivity. This makes it difficult for the users to give remote print commands.  The printer comes with a rated frequency of 50Hz- 60Hz and operates on 220- 240V AC.
