Realme 9 series has been expanded in India with the launch of the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+. Both smartphones have been launched finally after all the hype with the Snapdragon 600/Dimensity 900 series chipsets, AMOLED display, and a triple rear camera module. Below are the features and pricing details of the latest Realme 9 Pro series. Take a look:

Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9 Pro+ Hardware And Software

The standard Realme 9 Pro has been launched with a 6.6-inch display that supports 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ screen resolution, HDR10 certification, and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The AMOLED panel offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent and has a 120Hz refresh rate.

At its core, the Realme 9 Pro uses the Snapdragon 695 processor as its brain of operations. The octa-core Qualcomm processor has 5G network support and Adreno 619 GPU for high-end graphics. The imaging setup here comprises a triple camera setup with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP sensor. It features a 16MP camera for selfies.

The Realme 9 Pro has been announced with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. It does have additional microSD card support. The package is completed here with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Unlike the standard Qualcomm chipset on the Realme 9 Pro, the Realme 9 Pro+ is equipped with a Dimensity 920 chipset. The octa-core MediaTek processor is combined with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU and up to 8GB RAM. The onboard storage capacity offered by this model is higher at 256GB.

This variant packs a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. The 2.5D curved panel gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and has a punch-hole cutout that accommodates a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie snapper.

The Realme 9 Pro+’s rear camera setup offers a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The additional sensors include an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 119-degree FoV and a 2MP macro sensor.

Both Realme 9 Pro series phones are packed with Android 12 OS topped with Realme UI 3.0 interface. The security aspect of both units is also handled by an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, the Realme 9 Pro+ has a smaller 4,500 mAh battery compared to the vanilla model which is aided by 33W fast charging.

The standard Realme 9 is announced at a starting price tag of Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. The handset also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration priced at Rs. 20,999.

On the other hand, the Realme 9 Pro+ comes at an asking price of Rs. 24,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. There is also an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and an 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage model which will be selling at Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 26,999 respectively.

The color options for both models are the same, i.e, Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue. Both devices will be made available for sale via Flipkart and the company’s official website starting on 21 February 2022.

Asus is the latest brand to revamp its gaming smartphone lineup in India. The company has launched two new ROG Phone 5S series phones in the country namely the ROG Phone 5s and the ROG Phone 5s Pro. Both Android gaming phones are packed with top-of-the-line hardware such as flagship Snapdragon 800 series chipsets, 144Hz display, and more. The pricing details and spec-sheet are mentioned below:

Asus ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro Key Specifications

The standard Asus ROG Phone 5s features a 6.78-inch display which is a Samsung AMOLED panel that supports 1080 x 2448 pixels FHD+ screen resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It is a 2.5D curved glass that is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added protection. The display also supports HDR 10+ certification and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Asus ROG Phone 5s uses the Snapdragon 888+ processor that clubs Adreno 660 GPU and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The handset has an onboard storage capacity of 256GB.

The imaging setup offered by the ROG Phone 5s comprises a triple-lens camera module at the back with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture. While the standard ROG Phone 5s is available in Phantom Black and Storm White color, the ROG Phone 5s Pro comes in Phantom Black shade only. Both models will be made available for sale starting February 18 via the e-commerce portal Flipkart.

While the processor is identical on both units, the RAM is trimmed down to 3GB on the new model. The device comes with an onboard storage capacity of 32GB. It also has external microSD card support.

The Nokia G11 has launched with a triple rear camera module featuring a 13MP main camera. The imaging setup also includes a pair of 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth mapping. However, the report does not specify how many variants are coming to the Indian market and the specific pricing of the upcoming models. It does mention the same color options as the international model in India as well, i.e, Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold
