Moto G22 Appears On Geekbench; Entry-Level Helio P35 SoC, Android 11 OS Tipped

Towards the end of 2021, Motorola had launched a series of new smartphones in the Moto G series. The Moto G31, Moto G41, Moto G51, Moto G71, and the Moto G200. All these handsets are gradually being released in the Indian market. Meanwhile, the company is also working on another new device in this series. The upcoming device is said to be the Moto G22 which would be a successor to the Moto G20 launched last year. The benchmark listing has gone live revealing the processor details and benchmark scores.

Moto G22 Geekbench Listing Leaks Online

The Moto G22 Geekbench listing has been first spotted by Mysmartprice. The benchmark listing suggests an entry-level phone in the works. As per the website, the Moto G22 will be powered by an ARM MT6765V/CB processor which has octa-cores and a base frequency of 2.30GHz. For the unaware, this processor is none other than the Helio P35 entry-level chipset by MediaTek.

The Moto G22’s Geekbench listing further reveals a 4GB RAM configuration. It is currently unknown if this device will be launched with any other RAM option. The storage capacity isn’t mentioned on the benchmark websites. However, we might see a standard 64GB onboard storage space along with external microSD card support.

Coming to the other Moto G22 leaked features on Geekbench, only the Andriod 11 OS along with the benchmark scores have been tipped. In the single-core test, the device scored 170 points, while in the multi-core test, it logged 912 points. None of the remaining features including the camera, battery, and display specifications have been leaked by any other source yet.

But considering this would be an entry-level offering, Motorola might use a standard LCD panel that will support 720p HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. We might also see a waterdrop notch instead of a punch-hole cutout.

What remains to be seen is whether this budget Motorola phone will feature single or multiple rear camera sensors. The battery capacity could be over 4,500 mAh. However, the exact capacity would be hard to guess just yet. Nevertheless, we would likely see standard charging speeds aiding the battery setup.

Likewise, its predecessor, i.e, the WF-1000XM3, the WF-1000XM4 also brings top-notch hardware to the table including best-in-class ANC, Qi wireless charging, and more.

Sony WF-1000XM4 Key Specifications And Features

The Sony WF-1000XM4 comes with several sets of improvements in terms of hardware and other features compared to its precursor, i.e, WF-1000XM3. This gives it an edge considering you hardly find this high-res Bluetooth audio codec support generally on TWS earbuds including the premium models. The TWS earbuds also feature Sony’s DSEE Extreme feature that enhances the audio quality by upscaling the compressed digital audio files in real-time.

The Sony WF-1000XM4’s other key features include compatibility with Sony Headphone Connect mobile app, support for 360-degree Reality Audio, Quick Attention Mode, Speak-to-Chat, and Adaptive sound control. OnePlus 9R Again Tipped To Be Discontinued From Indian Stores Post OnePlus 9RT Launch

Ahead of the OnePlus 9RT’s launch in India, rumors of the OnePlus 9R and a bunch of other older flagships getting discontinued in India started doing rounds online. Earlier this month, tipster Yogesh Brar had suggested three different models being taken off the shelves from the country including both previous OnePlus 9 models and the OnePlus 8T. Another report suggested the OnePlus 9R’s discontinuation from the Indian stores. The same source has now re-affirmed the reports of the OnePlus 9R’s non-availability post the OnePlus 9RT’s launch in India. Details are below:

OnePlus 9R Won’t Be Available For Sale In India Post OnePlus 9RT’s Launch

The OnePlus will be taken off shelves in India following the OnePlus 9RT’s India launch which is scheduled on January 14. A new report has now surfaced suggesting the device will be removed from the Indian stores to make space for the upcoming OnePlus 9RT. Other models have not been confirmed via this report.

The primary reason cited by the source for OnePlus to discontinue the OnePlus 9R is the exact same pricing as tipped for the OnePlus 9RT. Since both these OnePlus 9R series models are expected to retail with an identical price tag, it would rather make sense for the brand to instead focus on driving the sales for the new model. Note, OnePlus has not yet confirmed these reports. However, all the developments hint at the same possibility.

Since pricing is said to be the main factor for the company to pull the plugs of the OnePlus 9R, let’s quickly have a look at the same. The OnePlus 9R can be purchased via Amazon starting at Rs. 39,999. This is the current pricing of the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Likewise, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model is currently being sold at Rs. 43,999 in India. The same pricing is being tipped by the rumors for the OnePlus 9RT.

In related news, the OnePlus 9RT Indian variant was spotted at the benchmark website Geekbench with the OnePlus MT2111 model number. The listing confirmed the company is getting done with the final test runs for the upcoming flagship handset ahead of the launch. The benchmark listing reaffirmed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 12GB RAM along with the benchmark scores.

Nubia RedMagic 7 Benchmark Listing Reveals Whopping 18GB RAM; Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC Also Confirmed

ZTE’s Nubia Red Magic series is expected to be revamped soon in China. The next-generation Android gaming smartphone series is said to be revamped with the Red Magic 7. The standard Red Magic 7 recently paid a visit to the Chinese mobile regulatory TENAA hinting at an imminent launch in China. Now, the handset has been spotted at Geekbench. Following are the details revealed by the benchmark website.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Features Listed At Geekbench

The Nubia Red Magic 7 has appeared at the Geekbench database with the NX679J model number. It made sightings at other mobile certification portals including TENAA bearing the same model number. The benchmark website’s listing was first spotted by Mysmartprice. According to it, the upcoming gaming flagship will be powered by an octa-core processor with a base frequency of 1.8GHz.

While the processor’s branding isn’t listed on the benchmark website, the mention of the ‘taro’ motherboard confirms it to be the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. What makes this handset special is the 18GB RAM configuration. If that’s true, the Red Magic 7 would be amongst the first few gaming Android phones to feature such high-capacity RAM.

Unfortunately, the storage capacity isn’t mentioned and we are not sure if the company would pair it with 512GB or higher storage capacity. Apart from the processor and RAM, the Red Magic’s Geekbench listing has also revealed Android 12 OS firmware and the benchmark scores only. In the single-core test, the Red Magic 7 achieved 1219 points, while in the multi-core test it achieved 3732 points.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Other Leaked Features

The Nubia Red Magic 7’s other known features include a massive 6.8-inch display. The panel type and refresh rate is unknown but a higher than 120Hz refresh rate is indicated via previous leaks. The panel will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for security which we believe would be an optical sensor.

Since this is a high-end gaming handset, we can expect an improved heat dissipation system and other game-centric features. It is rumored to feature a 64MP main camera, but the other sensors are unknown at the moment. The battery capacity tipped is 4,500 mAh with fast charging.
