Tata Harrier EV Long Range Trim Battery Capacity Revealed
Tata Harrier EV, the electrified version of the popular mid-size SUV is set to go official next week in India. Right ahead of the launch, the rumor mill has been rapidly spilling beans related to its features and powertrain. Just a while ago, the Harrier EV’s test mule was snapped hinting at its AWD capabilities.
Seems like the reports are true and we will see top-spec model of the Harrier EV ship with dual electric motors and AWD drivetrain. And if we go by the fresh rumors, the Harrier EV’s long range trims will be equipped with a bigger battery pack of 75 kWh.
To recap, a 60 kWh battery unit has been earlier tipped to be integrated inside the Harrier EV. This is likely for the Medium Range trims of the Harrier EV. The usage of larger battery pack is expected to add additional range figures with each charge cycle.
Tata has not shared much insight officially on the Harrier EV. However, this electric SUV already has been previewed at the Auto Expo 2023. This time, Tata Motors will likely showcase the production-ready unit of the Harrier EV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Going by the test mule sightings, we can expect the Harrier EV will be sharing its exterior and interiors with the ICE counterpart. There will be EV-specific elements distinguishing its design from the ICE variant. The blanked-off grille, charging socket right above the rear wheel on the side panel, and slight changes in the cabin features are the changes expected.
