MG Windsor EV Infotainment Screen Teased: Segment’s Biggest

MG Motor India has shared yet another short teaser video on its official YouTube channel. This time, the luxury SUV manufacturer has shared the glimpse of the touchscreen infotainment screen inside the Windsor EV’s cabin. The brand has teased the GRANDVIEW Touch Display which happens to be the segment’s biggest infotainment screen in the mid-range e-SUV segment.

The 15.6-inch infotainment system will be a one-stop destination for entertainment and navigation services. During its  DriEV.Bharat event, MG Motor India confirmed the e-HUB app’s compatibility with the Windsor EV. This means the large screen infotainment screen will be one stop destination for learning, gaming, entertainment, and more.

MG Windsor EV: All Details Revealed So Far

There have been multiple teasers that have ben shared by MG revealing the features such as an Aero-Lounge seats with 135° reclining angles adding to the comfort during extreme and long rides. This along with the large fixed glass sunroof panel are amongst the segment-first features that the Windsor EV is bringing along. With a price range expected to start under Rs. 20 lakh, the Windsor EV is also said to be available with dual battery pack options, Level 2 ADAS, and 360° camera system for security.

Mahindra BE.05 E-SUV Test Mule Snapped With New LED DRLs

Mahindra BE.05 will be amongst the first five EV’s which is in pipeline for India launch which has been showcased in the concept form already. However, the production-ready prototypes have been spotted getting tested several times in the country. The latest test mule spy shots of the BE.05 is said to be of the top-end trim which can be seen with new C-shaped LED DRLs upfront.

The DRL setup seems to be large taking on majority of the BE.05’s fascia vertical alignment adding to a more futuristic visuals while keeping a check on the aerodynamic approach. Besides, the LED DRL setup spotted with the test mule is apparently production-ready unit.

Also, the DRL design for the base and the top model will likely differ. This is considering dual variants of the BE.05 has been spotted with distinctive design elements. Moving on to the rear profile, the BE.05 will get the same C-shaped LED signature tail lamps. The twin roof spoiler is also visible with the spy shots which indicates Mahindra is carrying forward this feature from the concept model. Overall, the rear profile also looks more aggressive and futuristic on the Be.05’s production ready test mule.

Mahindra BE.05: Details Known So Far

Mahindra BE.05 has been spied multiple times by now and it is known that it will be built on the INGLO skateboard platform. While the information on the specs and features are limited, the BE.05 is expected to include dual large screen infotainment and instrument cluster with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support.

The upcoming mid-size e-SUV is further rumored to feature a battery pack ranging between 60- 80 kWh with a range delivery of over 500 km per charge. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki electric fleet is said to comprise three models. Besides the eVX, the company is also said to launch an electric hatchback called eWX and an electric MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which bears an internal codename YMC. The remaining two models of the Maruti Suzuki EVs will likely be debuting after the eVX which is slated for 2025 launch in the country. Maruti eVX Expected Powertrain And Features

Currently, only the eVX’s details are available primarily which have been shared by multiple leaks and rumors. The information is slightly limited when we speak of the eWX and the YMC variant. Starting with the eVX, it will be a mid-size electric SUV that is coming as a rival to the likes of the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.

The eVX has been showcased as a concept and the test mules have also been spied multiple times online. The e-SUV will get a coupe-style designing which seems to be the new trend with EVs. The eVX is confirmed to be built on the Born Electric platform which has been developed in collaboration with Toyota.

If we go by the leaks, Maruti could equip the eVX with dual battery pack options. The low-end trims of the eVX will likely employ a 48 kWh battery, whereas, the high-spec trims are expected with a bigger 60 kWh battery pack. While the exact range is not confirmed, the eVX could possible make a run of up to 550 km with a full battery charge cycle.

Maruti eWX Electric Hatchback, YMC Electric MPV Expected Details

Moving on to the eWX, it is said to be an electric hatchback which also has been showcased but internationally. Introduced during the Japan Mobility Show, the Maruti Suzuki eWX is expected to take on the affordable electric hatchs including the Tata Tiago EV. This EV will use a different platform than the eVX, i.e., K-EV platform. No other information is available as of now. However, its is being anticipated the eWX will be going official by 2026- 2027 globally including India.

Next in line is the Maruti’s electric hatchback, i.e, YMC (internal codename for the EV). It is rumored to be loosely based on the Ertiga ICE model featuring an all-electric drivetrain. This upcoming EV is expected to share the same Born Electric platform as the eVX which has been designed in association with Toyota. The YMC is further said to borrow features and powertrain from the eVX electric SUV. As far as the launch is concerned, the YMC electric MPC is also heading to India by later 2026.

Steps To Add Music/ Songs To Instagram Profile

Step 1: Launch Instagram application on your smartphones or laptop/ PC.

Step 2: From the Profile page, go to the Edit Profile option

Step 3: You will see “Add music to your profile” option. Select it.

Step 4: Now, search the song which you wish to add to the profile. You can also select options from the “For You” section curated by Instagram.

Step 5: Once you have found the music or song, select the clip duration before setting it up on your profile.

Step 6: Do note that Instagram is currently allowing users to set a song only up to 30 seconds. However, you can select the part of the song as per your preference.

Step 7: Click on Save.

Google Maps Offline Mode For Smartwatch: Details

Google is now making it simplified for the smartwatch owners to use Maps services that too without an active internet connection. The latest feature is being made available to all the smartwatches that are using Wear OS firmware. The Pixel Watch 2 is amongst the first in lot to get the offline Maps support which gradually will be released to the remaining smartwatches running on the Wear OS.

Currently, the offline Maps feature is available with Wear OS Beta version 11.140.0701.W on the Pixel Watch 2. As mentioned above, it will be rolled out to the remaining compatible smartwatches in a phased manner.

This new feature will not only offline maps data which is available in the paired smartphone but will also download a map of the user’s surrounding area for better access to navigational directions. It is worth mentioning that the offline data on the user’s smartwatch will be dowloaded automatically and a notification of the same will be shared.

Additionally, users will be provided an insight on the total storage consumption once a map is downloaded offline. This will help with efficient storage management on the smartwatch as one can easily remove the maps that are no longer in use.

MG Windsor New EV Official Teaser

MG Windsor EV’s latest teaser video shows the upcoming CUV being tested for its real-life road performance. The CUV’s test runs have been conducted in Rann of Kutch which is known to be India’s one of the most challenging terrains. The weather conditions are also known to be extreme in this region; specifically the soaring summers.

The Windsor EV CUV testings have been conducted in extreme summer conditions with the temperatures reaching up to 44°c. This indicates the upcoming EV’s potential despite the rising temperatures which is still one of the biggest concerns with new EV buyers. It seems that the Windsor EV is ready to offer a smooth drive experience in the peak summer seasons in India.

In one of its previous teasers, JSW MG Motor India teased the large panoramic glass sunroof and prior that the Aero-lounge seats were teased. Ather Care Plus, Care Max Service Packs For 450 And Rizta E-Scooters

Ather is apparently trying to come up with a cost effective after sales service solutions for its customers. As per the reports, the E2W manufacturer will soon launch new Ather Care Plus and Ather Care Max packs. The updated services will be rather offered at reasonable costs bringing a relief to customers worried with higher service charges for an EV.

The leaked screenshots of the upcoming Ather Care service packs doing rounds online suggests them to be annual plans which one have to renew to continue with the benefits . Also, these service packs will be valid till 10,000 km distance.

As fas as the plans and the services are concerned, the Ather Care Plus which we expect to be the cheaper one will offer a discount of 10 percent twice annually on wear and tear part replacement, 15 percent discount twice annually on labour charges for wear and tear service, free periodic maintainence twice annually, and free polishing, free wash one each.

On the other hand, the Ather Care Max service pack as per the leak will offer the same deals as the Ather Care Plus but will also offer additional free brake pad replacement twice, Free ExpressCare service twice, free belt lubrication, and extra polishing and extra wash one each.

Maruti Suzuki eVX Global Launch In 2025?

Maruti Suzuki will be announcing the eVX next year. A senior executive from Maruti has revealed the timeline for the company’s first electric SUV’s official debut globally. According to the reports, the final production-ready variant of the eVX will be breaking covers during the Auto Expo 2025 event which is scheduled for January 2025 in India. The launch is expected in the early half of 2025.

It is further being reported that the eVX will be Maruti’s international product offering and the company aims to make it an priority for the international markets, specifically, the European regions as well as the Japanese market. Also, the mother plant for the eVX will be set up in India.

Looking at the developments, Maruti would likely commence the production of the eVX starting the first half of 2025. The company is aspiring to manufacture around 1.5 lakh units annually for export in the European and Japanese markets.

Maruti eVX: Details Known So Far

Ola S1X E-Scooter PLI Certification: Details

Ola S1X which is one the top selling e-scooter models from the S1 series has been given the Production Linked Certificate. The S1X comes in dual options including a 3kWh and a 4kWh battery model both of which have received the PLI certification from the International Center for Automative Technology (ICAT). It is worth mentioning that the PLI certificate is only released by the Ministry of Heavy Industry when a two or four wheeler meets certain criteria.

For the S1X, Ola had to ensure that there is at least 50 percent of localization for its production. Since the company had complied with the rule, the S1X became eligible to receive the PLI certification. This is a significant achievement for Ola in the E2W segment which will eventually help the brand with a boost in production.

As a part of the PLI certification, Ola will be getting benefits and incentives for up to five years. Now, Ola will have to rely less on the import of raw materials to manufacturers its e-scooters post the PLI certification. With this, Ola will be able to strategically price its e-scooters increasing the competition in the E2W space.
