Realme latest number series phones flaunts a familiar yet an updated design. The rear panel gets the standard plastic construction, but the frames are metallic. The large circular camera island is similar to its older sibling. The flat edges of the frame allows a firm and comfortable grip.

The screen of the Realme 13+ 5G incorporates an in-display scanner for biometrics. The brightness levels are also at par with the rivals. It offers up to 2000 nits of peak brightness which makes reading content under harsh sunlight a comfortable experience.
Realme is betting high on the performance delivery with the 13+ 5G. The latest number series Realme handset employs the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset under its hood. This new MediaTek mid-tier SoC is fabricated using the thin 4nm TSMC process and can easily handle all kinds of extensive usage. In fact, with up to 12GB RAM option, it become more potent with performance delivery.
Realme has additionally thrown in a large VC chamber and the GT Mode making this an optimum gaming device. The efficient hardware can be expected to keep the device’s temperature in check during extensive gaming. During the brief usage, we could feel the speedy response this phone offers. While we are yet to test it to its full potential, we expect it be a reliable daily driver. We will be sharing our thorough feedback with its performance handling, so stay stuned
Realme 13+ 5G comes with the Android 14 OS installed which is topped with the Realme UI 5.0 interface. With numerous customizations and AI features, the UI of the Realme 13+ 5G is indeed an upgrade. The handset will be getting up to two years of major Android update and up to 3 years of security updates. The UI while receiving improvements still retains bloatware which you can’t remove permanently.
The third-party apps beyond Realme and Google are primarily social media apps. What’s missing here is the wide range of AI features as we got to see with its older sibling., i.e, the Realme 13 Pro 5G. The AI features would have been an added bonus here.
Realme 13+ 5G First Impressions: Battery And Fast Charging
Realme 13+ 5G gets ample juice for a full day of backup with its 5,000 mAh battery. The mid-range hardware will help with slower battery drain speeds. On the other hand, the 67W fast charging will ensure rapid refueling speeds. We are yet to test the exact battery backup and the fast charging speeds. But our hopes are high with this handset.
Realme 13+ 5G First Impressions: Camera Performance
Realme has been solidifying its game in the optics segment. We have seen the powerful cameras equipped inside the Pro variant. The 13+ 5G is also loaded with a decent optics hardware where at the rear it houses the flagship 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS support.
This primary camera is combined with an additional 2MP depth sensor which has an f/2.2 aperture.Speaking of the selfie snapper, a 16MP sensor with an f/2.45 aperture is packed inside the tiny punch-hole cutout upfront. The camera quality seems promising during our initial testing. The clarity levels as well as the depth effects added with the bokeh shots looks good. Though, we be resting our verdict for the review which will be pushed in a few days.
Realme 13+ 5G is getting the mid-range segment heated up. The notable upgrades it has received over its predecessor gets its game stronger. With a starting price under Rs. 25,000 and a focus on performance, this new Realme number series phone seems like a value-for-money deal. But let’s wait for the final review where we will highlight its true potential.
Vivo started its inning in the budget 5G smartphone segment with the Series T and expanded this lineup earlier this year with the T3 5G. Within a few months, the Chinese OEM is back with its older sibling, i.e., the Vivo T3 Pro. The latest Vivo offering has entered the highly competitive mid-range segment with a starting price range below Rs. 25,000. And we do see some significant improvements in the hardware. But how well this phone fairs when used as a daily driver? At Giznext, we got a chance to review the Vivo T3 Pro 5G and if this phone has got your interest, do check the pros and cons before you settle for the final deal.
For the tech geeks, stay updated with the latest cutting-edge gadgets in the market, exclusive tech updates, gadget reviews, and more right on your phone’s screen. Join Giznext’s WhatsApp channel and receive the industry-first tech updates.
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G has evolved massively in terms of design and its all premium this time. Specifically, if you go for the Sandstone Orange version which personally we liked due to the vegan leather back finish. The T3 Pro 5G is also available in Emerald Green option which offers a glass-like finish and is as premium as the Sandstone variant.
The big squarish camera module with metallic layout housing dual camera lens and a flash. What we additionally liked about its design is the ultra slim form factor despite the beefy 5,500 mAh battery package. This along with the curved edges allows a decent grip and comfortable usage with single hand.
Besides, the rounded edges makes more room for the screen upfront offering an almost bezel-less design and maximum screen surface for content consumption. Ports and keys have got the usual positioning. Both power and the volume adjusters are on the right spine, while the SIM card tray, USB Type-C port, and the speaker grille gets bottom panel mounting. Overall, the T3 Pro 5G is definitely one of the classy-looking handsets in its league while balancing the practicality with its handling.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G has an advanced screen panel which surely elevates the video playback and gaming experience. The curved AMOLED screen is tall and measures 6.77-inches supporting an FHD+ resolution. The visual response is further enhanced with the 120Hz refresh rate and its 4500 nits of peak brightness.
It easily is amongst the most bright display panels in the mid-range segment which ensures you don’t strain your eyes while watching content under harsh sunlight. With the OTT streaming platforms too, the visuals have been a treat making us binge on our favorite shows and movies.
While the curved display is visually appealing, it is slightly prone to accidental touches. But that’s can be avoided with careful handling. That said of the video playback, the gaming visuals are also top notch. You can play intensive action games while enabling the HD settings.
No frame drops have been experienced during such game play sessions. Since this is an AMOLED screen, you also get an integrated fingerprint scanner. The in-display fingerprint lock is quick and responsive with device unlocking making it a safe barrier protecting privacy.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G with its octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 5G chipset is a performance beast. For a mid-range phone, performance delivery is one the core USPs which the T3 Pro 5G addresses quite well. The T3 Pro’s SD 7 Gen 3 SoC gets Adreno 720 GPU which as per Vivo has allowed the handset to achieve better performance overall. The chipset is not just efficient but also fast making the T3 Pro 5G quicker with operations.
Apps boot up almost instantly with a tap and there’s hardly any sluggish user experience while performing different tasks on the apps. Multitasking too is swift when you use the T3 Pro 5G. Despite several apps open in the background, you can switch without any flinches.
The T3 Pro 5G is full capable of handling high-end games. And if you are an FPS shooting game fanatic, you’ll be impressed with the devices’s capabilities to run graphic-extensive games. You can use the dedicated gaming mode for further refinements and enhancements with the gaming experience. We also tested the handset using 3D Mark and Geekbench benchmark platforms. The screenshots are attached for reference.
The T3 Pro is again one the few phones in the segment to be backed up by a 5,500 mAh battery setup. Within less than an hour, you can get the device charged completely from 0- 100 percent. Thanks to the bundled 80W fast charger. As far as the backup’s concerned, the beefy setup has got it covered as you’ll need a replug only by the end of the day if the usage has been extensive.
Vivo T3 Pro is definitely one of the striking packages with a price value starting below Rs. 25,000. In fact, its spec-sheet can be considered the best in the segment. But with the RAM configuration being limited to 8GB, this handset’s full potential couldn’t be unleashed in our opinion. While it is efficient with multitasking, faster speed would have made it the hard-to-miss deal collectively. Thankfully, the brand is providing options with the onboard storage space. The T3 Pro 5G is available with both 128GB and 256GB native storage capacity.
The Vivo T3 Pro ships with dual rear camera sensors where the primary lens is a 50MP Sony IMX582 sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and OIS. Combined with it is an 8MP sensor which is an ultra-wide sensor featuring an aperture length of f/2.2.
As you would expect with Vivo, the cameras are good with detailing; specifically when the shots are clicked in suitable lighting conditions. The dynamic range is high and the camera does a great job with preserving natural colors and tones.
However, the reason it gets listed in this section is the fact that it comes void of a dedicated sensor for depth mapping. We already have mentioned how clear its photos are. In fact, the portrait shots with AI are also decent. But a dedicated sensor would have helped with more refinements.
The camera performance of the T3 Pro is definitely satisfactory. Even the 16MP selfie snapper clicks vibrants images that you can exhibit online at social media platforms. For content creators too, the T3 Pro’s 4K video recording with decent stabilizations works in favor.
This seems to be the common con for mid-range Android phones nowadays as most of the OEMs apparently are doing away with the 3-way SIM slot. The only drawback here is that you are unable to use two SIM cards and an external SD Card simultaneously.
Again, this is common con in our opinion. However, over the years we have seen the smartphone brands working on providing a cleaner UI. And with the added AI features, the usage is surely improving. However, the pre-loaded bloatware if removed completely will be an added bonus.
Well, if your budget isn’t exceeding Rs. 25,000 and you are looking for an all-rounder daily driver, the T3 Pro 5G is a solid bet. Vivo has improved the overall quality of the Series T gradually and finally seems to have ticked all the boxes with the T3 Pro 5G.
EVs and fire incidents seems to be a regular affair. We often come across incidents of electric cars and scooters catching during drives raising security concerns for the masses. In most of the cases, its the battery setup of the EV of some fault electronics which leads to the fire accidents. And seems like, there is still a concrete resolution to be provided by the E2W and E4W brands for safety of the customers. Once again, a fire incident has been reported where a TVS iQube e-scooter went up in flames during charging. Here’s what happened:

A new video has been uploaded on the microblogging website X (formerly Twitter) showing a TVS iQube e-scooter bursting into flames. The incident happened while the e-scooter was standing still and was parked in the basement of an apartment. It is being reported that the iQube e-scooter was being charged when it went up in flames. The viral video shows the burning e-scooter was surrounded by other vehicles including EVs.
It is the second such incident where a TVS e-scooter has been associated with a fire accident. The exact reason for the fire accident is not yet confirmed. But as specified, the e-scooter was getting charged during the accident and a wall mounted charger can also be seen right next to it.
But what made the situation worse is the thick black smoke that engulfed the surroundings emitted from the burning plastic parts. Thankfully, residents of the buildings acted swiftly and managed to get the nearby vehicles removed to avoid any further mishaps.
As of now, TVS has not reacted to the matter and is yet to acknowledge or start with the investigations. Nevertheless, the video suggests the fire didn’t start by any battery blast and the exact reason is yet to be known. It is being anticipated that the malfunction with battery setup could be the reason. Whatever may be the case, it’s high time the EV manufacturers find a adequate solution with such fire incidents putting customers safety at risk.

Mahindra BE.05’s latest walk around spy video shares the glimpse of the cabin along with the infotainment screen and the steering wheel design. The upcoming e-SUV gets a roomy cabin which also looks sporty. However, instead of the triple screen layout as spied with the XUV.e8 and the XUV.e9, the BE.05 is spotted with dual screen setup for infotainment and driver. Just like the previous spy shots, this walk around video is also said to be of the top-end variant.
The dual screen setup visible in the walk around video is apparently loaded with an EV-specific UI. The digital MID can be seen displaying the battery status and other ride-specific details. As for the steering wheel, the two spoke steering wheel seems to be inspired by Tata’s mid-range SUV fleet. The spy video shows an illuminated BE logo along with integrated keys for different functionalities.
The Mahindra BE.05 has been a subject to numerous leaks already with its anticipated arrival timeline being 2025. The most recent spy shot of the BE.05 has revealed the C-shaped LED DRL setup. The leak also hinted at a rather compact structure than the counterparts such as the MG ZS EV and the Tata Curvv EV.
