Maruti Suzuki is apparently completing the final test run phase for its first electric SUV — the eVX. After showcasing its concept, Maruti has been seen testing the eVX e-SUV’s production ready test mule on the Indian roads. Once again, the eVX sightings have been reported. This time from the Delhi NCR region.

Maruti Suzuki eVX Test Mule Snapshots/ Spy Video Leak

Publication 91Wheels have captured the latest snapshots of the Maruti Suzuki eVX being tested in Delhi NCR. Despite wrapped with black camouflage, the eVX can be seen sporting a bold SUV stance which gives a familiar attire to an ICE-SUV.

The eVX’s prototype spotted further reflects the chiseled body frame complemented by dual projector headlamps up front along with an halogen and LED lamp. It is being suggested that this headlamp setup is only for the test mule and the actual production ready model could come with a full LED headlamp module. the charging port placement is seen on the left edge of the front bumper.

Moving forward with the design cues, the eVX is seen sporting a coupe-style curved roofline with an LED stoplight-integrated roofline. At the rear, the curvy stance continues which is highlighted by wrap-around LED boot light bar and LED tail lamps. The test mule riding on 17-inch alloy wheels will offer decent ground clearance and aid with ride comfort overall.

Maruti Suzuki eVX is expected to be a feature rich EV likely loaded with a 360-degree parking camera system. The camera sensors are visible on the front grille as well as the ORVMs. This could be the first Maruti four wheeler to come with ADAS security feature.

Maruti Suzuki eVX Powertrain, Performance Metrics

Maruti is keeping the eVX’s powertrain and performance metrics a mystery and has only teased the design concept until now. But if we belive the words doing rounds online, Maruti could use a single electric motor linked to a 60 kWh battery. Mahindra XUV 700 Electric aka XUV.e8 New Test Mule Sightings

After the XUV.e9, the rumor mill has now received the leaked test mule snapshots of the XUV 700 electric. This mid-range electric SUV from Mahindra is also rumored to carry the XUV.e8 badging. The test mule is seen covered with camouflage taping all over. However, the leaked images gives a glimpse of the design tweaks it gets.

The key design distinction between the Mahindra XUV 700 electric and the XUV 700 ICE version is the fascia. The former is integrated with a new closed-off front grille to highlight its EV attributes. The front panel integrates a full-length LED lightbar and a new headlamp design which now appears slightly bulkier than the ICE model.

The XUV 700 electric’s latest set of test mule snaps shows larger air intakes up front mounted on the front lower bumper. While the remaining body profile of the XUV700 electric seems similar to the ICE model, the aerodynamic-inspired alloy wheel design will be a different approach altogether.

The mounting of the charging port is not clear with this test mule’s snaps. However, it could get a standard front mounting. That said, the rear profile of the XUV700 electric also seems slightly altered compared to XUV700 ICE model with the roof spoiler being slightly extended.

Cabin features weren’t revealed by the this test mule images of the XUV 700 Electric. However, as per the previous reports, we might see a triple-screen layout on the dashboard combined with connected tech system. The cabin features will range from a wide panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, dual zone climate control, and more. Safety features could range from airbags, ADAS, 360° camera system, etc.

Ather Rizta First Look: Identical Or Different Than Ather 450 Lineup?

Ather Rizta’s design is amongst the key differentiations besides the powertrain from the 450 lineup. The Rizta is being claimed to be more spacious and comfortable than the current 450 series e-scooter models. The leaked first-set of Rizta e-scooter’s images shared online gives us a clear look of the design approach Ather has taken for the family e-scooter.

Falling in line with the teasers and test mules, the Rizta gets a slightly bigger profile than any of the existing 450-series e-scooter. It doesn’t entirely flaunts a conventional scooter styling, rather has adequate modern take with the designing.

The leaked Rizta images highlights a one-piece body frame starting from the apron till the side panel. The floorboard is flat which will offer both comfortable leg room and luggage storage space. The Rizta e-scooter’s modern attributes are highlighted by the sleek front apron, big ORVMs, and LED headlamps.

For the pillion safety, it can be seen housing a large grab rail at the rear and LED tail lamp. The large single seat is also confirmed with the leaked images. That’s not it, this new set of leak has also confirmed the belt drive system as well as rear disc brakes for efficient performance and reliable braking respectively.

Conclusion

With the recent teasers, Ather has also revealed the biggest under seat storage and a big TFT screen which will be offered by the Rizta e-scooter. Ather via an Instagram Reel has once again teased the Rizta e-scooter. Also, the electric two wheeler manufacturer has commenced the pre-bookings for the family e-scooter. Ather is taking advanced bookings for the Rizta at a token amount of just Rs. 999. The latest teaser touts the seating capacity suiting families.

Ather has teased the big seating capacity offered by the Rizta e-scooter multiple times and the latest one also highlights the same. To recap, Ather first teased the large seat of the Rizta via a post on X; later comparing it with another popular E2W’s seat. In addition to the big seat size for families, the Rizta will also offer segment’s biggest luggage storing space (under seat storage).

Ather Rizta Details Revealed So Far

Ather previously released a teaser where the Rizta was seen storming through 40mmm deep water pit. The same teaser also revealed Rizta e-scooter’s large TFT digital instrument cluster and LED headlamps. The instrument cluster is expected to get mobile app comptibility and will also display important battery/ ride stats, turn-by-turn navigation, and more.

As far as the design is concerned, the test mules and the teaser snapshots hints the Rizta gets a conventional curvy two-wheeler scooter design. Ather is keeping the design approach simple compared to the existing 450 series which flaunts sleek and aggressive styling. Powertrain details are still a mystery, but Ather has confirmed the same platform and battery as the 450 lineup.

The Xiaomi SU7 will be available in four variants. Besides the standard model, Xiaomi has also introduced the SU7 Pro, SU7 Max, and the SU7 Founder’s Edition. The last one is a limited edition model. All the Xiaomi SU7 are integrated with powerful mechanics and features which is why it is being pit directly against Tesla 3 EV.

That said, the Xiaomi SU7 houses a powerful dual motor setup for an AWD (all-wheel-drive) capability. The dual motor pack churns out up to 637 hp of peak power and 838 Nm pf peak torque. The battery pack is the primary differentiating factor between the SU7 standard, SU7 Pro, and the SU7 Max models.

The Xiaomi SU7’s base variant has a 73.6 kWh battery which produces up to 700 km range per charge. The SU7 Pro variant is equipped with a 94.3 kWh battery pack with which it delivers up to 830 km range per charge. Lastly, the Xiaomi SU7 model features the biggest battery pack, i.e, a 101 kWh unit offering up to 900 km range mark on a full charge.

Xiaomi has loaded the SU7 with an ultra-fast 486v architecture with which the electric sedan can offer up to 350 km range with a 15 min plug-in.

As for the feature highlights, the Xiaomi SU7 has a smart connected tech cabin which has the in-house Hyper OS support allowing seamless pairing with compatible Xiaomi devices. The wraparound cockpit of the SU7 electric sedan is integrated with multiple screens for infotainment.

Xiaomi SU7 EV Pricing Details

Starting with the Xiaomi SU7 base packed with a 73.4 kWh battery is priced at 215,900 Yuan (approx. Rs. 24.9 lakh). The Xiaomi SU7 Pro with 94.3 kWh battery is introduced with 245,900 Yuan price tag (approx. Rs. 28.3 lakh, whereas, the SU7 Max variant featuring a 101 kWh battery is launched at 299,900 Yuan (approx. Rs. 34.5 lakh).

Kinetic Green E-Luna For Big Basket Deliveries: Details

Kinetic Greens has recently handed over 130 E-Luna units to Big Basket’s Delivery Partner. The electric moped will be used for Big Basket’s Last Mile Deliveries in Pune. The two wheeler brand hosted a special even in Chinchwad, Pune where it also revealed future aspirations with the E-Luna.

In the event led by the top channel partners of Kinetic Green, the brand revealed its expecting to get over 50,000 orders for e-Luna. The company believes these E-Luna units will be serving as last-mile delivery ride in 2024- 2025.

To recap, Ather has teased a smart accessory dubbed Halo earlier which essentially is a helmet with smart tech connectivity. It is expected to come with Bluetooth connectivity using which one could pair mobile devices. And besides music, we expect it to support navigational audio too.

The fresh trademark filing for the Hero E2W hints a B2B model in the works. Unlike the big profile of the previously patented Vida e-scooter, the fresh one shows a rather compact design theme. A clear glimpse of the upcoming Hero Vida B2B electric two wheeler shows a newly designed headlamp which is comparatively smaller than the available Vida V1 Pro and the V1 Plus models.

Additional design insight shared by the trademark listing includes a flyscreen upfront and a double cradle frame painted in neon shade. The latter could be the casing for the primary powertrain including the electric motor, battery, and other crucial mechanical components.

The upcoming Hero Vida B2B E2W’s patent images also shows the placement of dedicated luggage racks on the side panels. We could also figure out alloy wheels used for both front and rear wheels with the braking being handled by disc brakes on both wheels.
