The Dimensity 9000 series comprising the Dimenisty 9000+ chipset is an example. We already have seen the powerful performance offered by the Dimensity 9000+ chipset driving the Asus ROG Phone 6D. Once again, MediaTek’s latest flagship mobile chipset is making all rattles with the performance delivery churned out by the upcoming iQOO Neo 7.

Since the model number has appeared on a couple of other certification portals as well, we know, it’s related to the iQOO Neo 7.

Let’s first speak of the iQOO Neo 7 features revealed by the Geekbench listing. The next gaming flagship will run on the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset which is evident with the k6983v1_64 motherboard mentioned in the listing. In addition to the top-of-the-line MediaTek Dimensity 9000 series chipset, the iQOO Neo 7 will offer a 12GB RAM option as per the benchmark website.

iQOO’s next flagship gaming phone will also boot on the latest Android 13 OS. Nothing is mentioned about the storage capacity, but we expect up to 256GB of built-in memory. Like most of the premium iQOO phones, the Neo 7 is also expected to feature a hybrid SIM slot.

Now moving on to the Dimensity 9000+ chipset integrated iQOO Neo 7 benchmark scores, the handset achieved 1231 points in the single-core and 4251 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. That’s all the crucial details we have got to know about the iQOO Neo 7.  But thanks to the recent leaks, we know a few other hardware details.

Going by the recent leaks, the iQOO Neo 7 might flaunt an AMOLED screen measuring 6.78-inches in size. It is expected to offer an FHD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate, and flaunt a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. A 120W Super fast charging, 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50MP triple rear camera setup is tipped additionally.

The update resolves issues with the Mail application. Notably, it also resolves a few issues users of the new iPhone 14 series reported. Apple is also fixing the low volume issue that some CarPlay users had with the iPhone 14 series.

Users can check availability and download the iOS 16.0.3 update by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Open your iPhone and head to Settings.

Step 2: There, click on General.

Step 3: After that, tap on Software Update. Then, click on Download and Install.

Step 4: Your device will be upgraded to the most recent iOS version after accepting the Terms of Service.

Apart from this, Apple has not yet released an update to give Indian-specific iPhone 5G support. According to Airtel, iPhones won’t be able to use its 5G services until Apple releases an over-the-air (OTA) update for its mobile devices. The Nokia T10 was launched last month in India. However, the company had launched just the Wi-Fi variant of the budget Android tablet in the country. Now, the Finnish giant has released the LTE variant of the Nokia T10 in the country.  The latest Nokia T10 will support SIM cards, unlike the previous model which only supports Wi-Fi.

The Nokia T10 comes as HMD Global’s prime contender against the likes of Redmi Pad and Realme Pad Mini which are amongst the popular pocket-friendly Android tablets in the country. Moving on to the spec sheet, the Nokia T10 uses the octa-core Unisoc T606 entry-level chipset.

The processor on the Nokia T10 has Mali G57 MP1 GPU support to handle all the graphics. The firmware pre-installed on this tablet is Android 12 OS with a stock UI on top. The imaging setup of the latest budget Nokia tablet features a single 8MP rear camera along with an LED flash.

Nokia has used a smaller 2MP selfie snapper on the T10 tablet which will help with basic video calling. The display panel used is a standard IPS LCD which we have seen across a wide range of tablets including the mid-range segment. This tablet features an 8-inch screen size and supports a 720P HD+ resolution.

In terms of connectivity, the Nokia T10 comes equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (dual band), Bluetooth, and GPS. The tablet also has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Rounding off its spec-sheet is a compact 5,250 mAh battery unit along with 10W charging support.

The Nokia T10 LTE model is priced slightly higher compared to the standard Wi-Fi model. The base model of this tablet has 3GB RAM+ 32GB storage configuration and a price tag of Rs. 12,799. The Apple Watch reportedly picked up on the pregnancy symptoms before the woman even realized that she was expecting, leading to the discovery. While the watch didn’t outright deduce that the woman was pregnant but it did report the heart rate data accurately enough to alarm her of the change.

Lady Credits Apple Watch Identify Pregnancy

According to a Reddit post, a 34-year-old lady found that her Apple Watch pointed out a considerable increase in her average resting heart rate in a matter of days. She said, “Usually, my resting heart rate is about 57 and my heart rate has increased to 72. It’s not a big jump, but it showed up on an alert that it’s been higher for 15 days. I started trying to figure out why.”

She started to be skeptical because there are many causes for someone to experience a significant increase in heart rate. She initially believed she might have Covid-19 because one of the symptoms for some people with the condition is a fast heartbeat, but the Covid test came negative.

Later, she saw internet articles claiming that a pregnant woman can experience an increased heart rate as early as the first few weeks of pregnancy. “I read sometimes this happens with early pregnancy and sure enough instantly the test was positive,” she wrote. “The watch knew I was pregnant before I knew it! I would have never ever tested without wearing my watch because I have not had a period to be late on one,” she added.

She then visited a clinic for a pregnancy test, where it was determined that she was four weeks pregnant. Though Apple Watch has no official feature to detect pregnancy, it can detect unusual things going on in the body just by the change in average heart rate.

Out of the two, the MediaTek Dimenisty 700 has the thinner 7nm fabrication. The CPU cluster comprises dual Cortex-A77 cores with 2.2GHz clock speed and six Cortex-A55 cores with 1.8GHz clock speed.

Qualcomm has used an 8nm process for the Snapdragon 750G where the octa-core CPU cluster features two Cortex-A76 cores with 2.2GHz clock speed and six Cortex-A55 cores with 2GHz clock speed and 2200MHz CPU frequency. The cluster design is almost similar, but the thinner fabrication design of the Dimensity 700 gives it an edge over the Snapdragon 750G mobile processor.

Coming to the GPU architecture, the Snapdragon 750G processor embeds Adreno 619 GPU to render graphics. This octa-core gaming chipset’s GPU churns out around 825 MHz frequency with two execution units and 128 shading units. MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 octa-core processor has the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU that delivers 950MHz frequency with two execution units and 32 shading units. The power capacity is equivalent on both these chipsets’ GPUs.  

MediaTek Dimensity 700 Vs Snapdragon 750G: Memory, Multimedia (ISP)

MediaTek Dimensity 700 mobile chipset supports LPDDR4X memory type. Qualcomm has also added the same LPDDR4X memory support with the Snapdragon 750G mobile chipset. The remaining aspects including the memory frequency and max memory size are identical, i.e., 2133MHz and 12GB respectively.

Speaking of storage compatibility, it’s UFS 2.2 with the Dimensity 700 and UFS 2.1, UFS 2.2, and UFS 3.0 storage app. Apart from this, the maximum display resolution is 1080 x 2520 (Dimensity 700 and Snapdragon 750G).

The maximum camera resolution is higher with the SD 750G at 1 x 192MP and 2x 32MP, whereas the Dimensity 700 offers 1 x 64MP and 2 x 16MP max camera resolution. The Snapdragon 750G supports 4K@30fps video recording which is lower at 2K@30fps with the Dimensity 700.
