[Giznext Exclusive]: Micromax IN Note 2 India Price Revealed; First Sale In February 2022

It seems homegrown smartphone brands in India are also ramping up to refresh their product lineups with new launches to compete against the Chinese and other international players. Both Micromax and Lava are ready to release their new offerings for the Indian audience soon. While Micromax has officially teased its next budget handset for the Indian audience, Giznext exclusively reported the upcoming Lava Agni 2 5G. Now, we have managed to source details related to the Micromax IN Note 2’s India price and official sale timeline.

Micromax In Note 2 Price In India, Official Sale Timeline Confirmed

The Micromax IN Note 2 is confirmed to launch in India on January 25, 2022. The company itself has confirmed this detail via its official Twitter handle earlier. However, we at Giznext have managed to get details related to its pricing as well as its first sale in the country. As per our industry sources, the Micromax IN Note 2 will be announced between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 price range in India.

There are possibilities we see multiple RAM and storage variants of the upcoming Micromax budget phone in the market. The prices could differ as per the variants. We are currently not aware of the exact models but will share the updates when available. Apart from the pricing, our source has also revealed the first sale timeline for the Micromax IN Note 2.

The handset will be made available for sale by the first week of February 2022. The Micromax In Note 2 will be available for sale in India via e-commerce giant Flipkart. The company will also be selling this handset via its official India website. As far as features are concerned, the brand itself has hinted at a few details.

According to the official teasers, the Micromax IN Note 2 will flaunt a ‘Dazzling Glass’ finish. However, the company has not clarified if the back panel would indeed be using a glass back panel or it would rather improvise the plastic design to offer a glass finish. The company has also shared another key feature of the upcoming IN Note series handset (display).

The device is confirmed to flaunt a big 6.43-inch AMOLED display. We can expect it to offer an FHD+ screen resolution. However, we can’t really say for sure if the panel will support a standard 60Hz or higher 90Hz/120Hz refresh rate. Other key features such as the camera specifications and battery capacity are at large. But, we can expect the company to bring some upgrades and also share the details via teasers in the coming days.

We at Giznext have got some exclusive insight from the industry sources related to the Oppo Reno7 series India price as well as timeline. As per our source, the Oppo Reno7 vanilla model will be announced in between Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 30,000 price range. That could be depending on the variants. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno Pro will be heading to the Indian stores with a price tag of Rs. 47,990. Our source claims this would be the pricing of the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity. Note, the pricing mentioned is of the retail box which suggests the device will actually retail at a lower cost at the stores.

As far as the launch timeline is concerned, both smartphones are said to launch by next month in the country but the exact date is yet to be confirmed by our source and also from the brand. We will keep you posted with the exact availability details of the Reno7 series in India. That said, both Reno 7 and the Reno7 Pro will be available for sale via Flipkart in the country. A dedicated microsite has been already created on the e-commerce retailer’s portal.

Another key detail confirmed via our source is the Reno7 series specifications. Both vanilla Reno7 and the Reno7 Pro will be packing identical sets of internals as their Chinese counterparts. However, the company will be rebranding the Reno7 Pro’s chipset in the country. Just for reference, the Oppo Reno7 Pro was launched with the Dimensity 1200 SoC in China. The company is said to launch the Pro model with the Dimensity 1200 Max chipset.

The vanilla Reno7 will be powered by the same Dimensity 900 octa-core processor. The vanilla Reno7 will be arriving in India with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the Reno7 Pro will be available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. Additionally, the former will have 7GB virtual RAM support and the latter will come with a 5GB virtual RAM extension. Both devices will be pre-installed with ColorOS 12 interface.

Steps To Use Internet (Mobile Data) In Airplane Mode

Step 1: Make sure you have toggled on the Airplane mode on your respective devices.

Step 2: Open the dialer app and dial *#*#4636#*#*.

Step 3: A testing page will open up with three different options namely “Phone information1”, “Phone infirmation2”, and “Wi-Fi” information. Select the Phone information 1 or 2 depending on the SIM whose mobile data you want to use in Airplane mode.

Step 4: Once you click on the Phone info 1 or 2, another settings page will open up where you need to scroll down to the Mobile Radio Power option. Toggle this on along with the VoLTE provisioned and Video Calling provisioned placed right below the Mobile Radio Power option.

Step 5: Scroll further down to the “More” tab. Click on it.

Step 6: You will see another option “Enable Data Connection”. Tap on it and voila, you can now start browsing the internet even with the Airplane mode on.

CES 2022: Asus Expands ZenBook Laptop Series With ZenBook 14 OLED, ZenBook 17 Fold

The last few years in the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) have been majorly dominated by smartphones amongst other gadgets. While we are coming across new 5G devices and concept phones by the smartphone OEMs, laptops and tablets seem to be everyone’s new focus. Take for instance Asus, the Taiwanese tech giant yesterday introduced its flagship gaming tablet called the ROG Flow Z13. The brand is also showcasing its premium range of laptops. Following the ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop, the company has introduced two other models in the ZenBook series named ZenBook 14 OLED and ZenBook 17 Fold.

Asus ZenBook 14 OLED, ZenBook 17 Fold Design, Key Features

The Asus ZenBook 14 OLED has been announced with a 14-inch OLED display. If we speak of the display specifications, this OLED panel supports a 16:10 aspect ratio and 1800 x 2880 pixels screen resolution. The panel refresh rate is 90Hz and the peak brightness level is 550 nits. The ZenBook 14 OLED is driven by the 12th Gen Core H series processor. There is also an AMD Ryzen variant. The Intel Core H series model is equipped with a Thunderbolt 4.0 port which is missing from the AMD Ryzen variant.

On the contrary, the ZenBook 17 Fold as the name suggests offers a bigger screen size and foldable design unlike the ZenBook 14. Asus has used a 17.3-inch display here which is an OLED panel. Notably, this is the screen size when the laptop is in an unfolded state.

Furthermore, the unfolded display (17.3-inch). To use the secondary display you’ll need to partially fold the laptop. This display type is also OLED but the screen size is reduced to 12.5-inches. The larger display comes with a QHD+ screen resolution of 1920 x 2560 pixels Whereas, the partially folded panel which is also OLED supports an FHD+ screen resolution. The refresh rate offered by the ZenBook 17 Fold’s display is the same as the ZenBook 14 OLED, i.e, 90Hz.

It is worth mentioning that Asus has only revealed a new-generation Intel processor and has not specified the exact version. But 16GB RAM and up to 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD storage along with 75W battery is confirmed.

Step 2: From the search bar, type in ‘erase all data. If you don’t get any results try ‘factory reset.

Step 3: Once you get the right option, tap on it. Make sure your phone is charged over 50 percent or is connected to the charger if the battery is low. Also, backup essential data beforehand.

Step 5: Click on OK for the factory reset to begin.

Step 6: It will take a while before the device is wiped out entirely. The handset will reboot once the procedure is complete. That’s all you need to do.

How To Hard Reset Vivo Phones?

Step 1: In order to hard reset, you first need to switch off your device.

Step 2: Now, you need to press and hold the power key and volume up key simultaneously for a few seconds.

Step 3: A menu will now pop up on our screen with two options — Reboot and Recovery mode. Select the latter. You need to use the volume key to select the settings and power key for ok (the touch won’t work here).

Step 4: You’ll now see three more options namely ‘Install Software’, ‘Clear Data’, and ‘Check System’. Select the ‘Clear Data’ option.

Step 5: From the next page, select the ‘Clear all data option. You’ll be notified once your Vivo handset is wiped out entirely.
