OPPO has been quite consistent with new smartphone launches across the global markets. Just a few months back, the Chinese firm released the Reno8 series with enhanced photography features and premium mid-tier hardware. Now, its successor, i.e., the OPPO Reno9 5G series is also set to break covers soon. The official launch of the OPPO Reno9 5G series is slated for next week. The timeline has been revealed by the brand itself. The spec sheet and reaming details are listed below:

OPPO Reno9 5G Series Official Launch Announced

The OPPO Reno9 series will be initially announced in China. The landing page of the next Reno series has been updated on OPPO’s official China website. OPPO is launching the Reno9 series on November 24 in China. Going by the previous track record, we would likely see the Reno9 Pro, and the Reno9 Pro+ 5G alongside the vanilla Reno9 5G model.

The OPPO 9 series landing page has detailed the design. All three Reno9 models including the Reno9 Pro and the Reno9 Pro+ will flaunt a curved display panel. This is unlike the flat frame design offered by the previous generation models.

The landing page reveals a 2.30 pm arrival time. OPPO has not announced the Reno9 series’ launch timeline for India. But it is possible the brand brings the Reno9 lineup next year in the country.

OPPO Reno9 5G Series Expected Features

The Reno9 series phones will be housing a punch-hole cutout at the centre-top. We will also see an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. OPPO has reworked the rear panel design with the upcoming Reno series. A large square module with two large camera rings and an LED flash can be seen at the back.

The skin tone is the gradient (at least with two models). Additionally, the camera module on the OPPO Reno9 Pro and the Reno9 Pro+ 5G have the MariSilicon text inscribed which has been borrowed from the previous-gen Reno series.

The leaks and rumors hint the Snapdragon 778G and the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset will be powering the vanilla Reno9 5G and the Reno9 Pro 5G respectively. We might see a 64MP dual rear camera setup on the Reno9 5G and a 50MP dual rear camera setup on the Pro model.

The Reno9 series display tipped is a 6.7-inch OLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a 120HZ refresh rate. Both these models are said to offer a 4,500 mAh battery combined with 67W fast charging technology.

Many WhatsApp users want to use the instant messaging platform on two more devices while still using the same phone number. However, since WhatsApp only enables one smartphone to be logged in at once, the same is not allowed. However, WhatsApp can be used simultaneously on a desktop and a mobile device.

Currently, WhatsApp is trying to make it feasible for users to use the Companion mode feature to access WhatsApp on two or more smartphones at once while using the same number.

The companion mode for WhatsApp has reportedly been given out to some beta testers, according to the WABetaInfo website which tracks the application’s planned features. It stated that WhatsApp is using some beta testers to enable the feature as it tests the companion mode for mobile phones. The instant messaging app allows them to link a second smartphone through the ‘Link Device’ option. The linking will be through the existing process of QR code scanning.

The report claims that if you connect a second smartphone, your conversation history will sync to that device as well, allowing you to view and respond to calls and texts.

WhatsApp’s Companion Mode To Let You LinkMultiple Phones

The v2.22.23.18 beta version of WhatsApp is being used to test the new companion mode on Android devices. A single WhatsApp account can now be linked to two or more phones at once thanks to the update. You can simultaneously link up to four devices, and all of the linked phones will get chats and data.

According to the screenshot provided by WABetainfo, the app would enable barcode scanning after which all chats will be synced on one or more devices. This will operate similarly to how it is on WhatsApp web.

However, this feature is in beta, so some data may be missing. B. Stickers, Live Locations, and Broadcast list even after syncing. The end-to-end encryption that WhatsApp has will still work even if the account is linked to multiple devices simultaneously.

Realme has already announced its upcoming budget smartphone launch. The rumor and the brand itself has confirmed the standard Realme 10 4G’s arrival alongside the Realme 10 Pro and the Realme 10 Pro Plus. There has been no word related to the Realme 10 5G until now. However, just a few weeks ahead of the launch the Realme 10 5G has been leaked in full glory. The full spec sheet along with the design has been revealed.

Realme 10 5G New Leak Reveals Full Design

The Realme 10 5G has made an appearance on the Chine Telecom website. Just for reference, the Realme 10 series is breaking covers in China on November 17 which makes us believe the design and features tipped for the Realme 10 5G by the China Telecom website are authentic. The upcoming affordable 5G phone by Realme has been spotted with the RMX3615 model number.

Moving on to the design, the Realme 10 5G will be flaunting a standard waterdrop notch display. Realme isn’t opting for the punch-hole camera cutout design which can be found in the majority of the mid-range Realme handsets. Up front, the display is surrounded by thin bezels.

The Realme 10 5G will be packing a triple-lens camera module at the rear panel. The camera setup will be stacked in a triangular array. The handset will have the volume keys on the left panel and the power key on the right which will be integrating a fingerprint scanner for security. We can assume the bottom panel accommodates the USB Type C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme 10 5G Leaked Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Realme 10 5G variant will be employing the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. This entry-level 5G processor could be accompanied by up to 8GB RAM. The device might be available with up to 256GB storage configuration. There could be a hybrid SIM slot.

It is not clear at this point if the Realme 10 5G will be launched with an AMOLED panel or a standard IPS LCD display. The probability of the display panel being LCD is highly likely since this is a budget 5G phone. The device will support an FHD+ screen resolution.

The refresh rate is currently not confirmed but we might see either a 90 or 120Hz refresh rate. The camera specifications are said to comprise a 50MP main lens at the rear along with a pair of 2MP sensors for depth mapping and macro shots.

The tech company reportedly plans to replace “Hey Siri” with just “Siri” in the near future. This implies that iOS users only need to call Siri to start the voice assistant.

The Verge reports that Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman shared the aforementioned rumor and that as a result of this change, users would only need to say “Siri” followed by a command to activate the digital assistant. The tech giant has reportedly been working on the feature for some time; its expected release is either next year or possibly in 2024.

This may seem like a minor change to some, but Apple experts say that because Siri is able to understand many different languages and dialects, it presents a “technical challenge that demands a significant amount of AI training and underlying engineering development” in order to function effectively.

Right now, the HomePods’ two-trigger “Hey, Siri” command sometimes accidentally activates Apple’s voice assistant. If Apple is successfully able to drop the “Hey” trigger phrase, Siri would become more similar to Amazon’s Alexa which can already be activated by the word “Alexa.”

Samsung has launched IoT-enabled AX32 and AX46 air purifier models

Samsung has unveiled its new range of Internet of Things-enabled air purifiers in India. The models in the new line-up are ideal for master bedrooms, fitness studios, hospital rooms, and other large places because they can cover a wider area of up to 645 square feet.

The company claims that the air purifiers have a one-button control that removes 99.97 percent of germs, allergies, ultrafine dust, and nanoparticles. Here’s everything you need to know:

Samsung Air Purifiers: Features

Samsung’s latest line of air purifiers includes features like Front Air Intake and Three Way Air Flow. According to Samsung, the front air inflow is made to draw air in quickly. The clean air is then swiftly dispersed using the Three-Way Air Flow by a Power Fan once it has undergone the purification process.

The SmartThings App is compatible with Samsung’s latest air purifiers, allowing users to control them remotely. Users may easily turn on and off the air purifier. The app also enables users to use their smartphone to check the air quality and manage other air purifier features wherever they are.

A multi-layered, high-efficiency purification system is another important feature. In addition to filtering out bigger dust particles, Samsung says that the feature also removes ultrafine dust from the air. The system also includes a Dust Collecting Filter that can capture up to 99.97 percent of ultrafine dust and an activated carbon deodorization filter to eliminate hazardous gas.
