You can also head to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store if in case you don’t want to do the procedure of device setup or data transfer using a PC or a laptop.

There is a dedicated Samsung dongle as well that comes with high-end Galaxy phones that you can use to connect to the respective devices used for data transfer. Below are the steps that you can perform on Galaxy phones to use the Samsung Smart Switch features:

Step 1: Open the settings menu on your respective Samsung Galaxy phones and click on the Accounts and Backup option.

Step 2: You will be able to see the Samsung Smart Switch option. Click this option on both devices.

Step 3: Now, select Send or Receive on the respective handsets (old and new) for data transfer.

Step 4: There will be two options using which you can transfer data or set up the new device including the USB dongle and Wi-Fi.

Step 5: Select the latter if you don’t have the dedicated USB dongle.

Step 6: From the next screen, select the data such as calls, contacts, media as per requirement and click on send.

Infinix Zero 5G: Price, Specifications, And Other Details

Infinix is all set to launch its first 5G smartphone in India on Monday. The Infinix Zero 5G will be available on Flipkart from February 14th. The upcoming smartphone is likely to have MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and a triple camera setup at the back.

Notably, the same processor is expected to be available OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, which will be launched at 12 noon on February 17 in the country. The Infinix Zero 5G might also have features like a 120Hz refresh rate along with an AMOLED display.

Infinix Zero 5G Smartphone: Specifications

According to the Flipkart listing, Infinix Zero 5G will have a 48MP camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, the device is expected to be available in two colour options. Also, the webpage shows that the device will have an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.

In addition, the Infinix Zero 5G will carry XOS 10 on top of the Android 11 OS. Besides, the device will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the smartphone is expected to have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will also have a 48MP primary camera, ultra-wide telephoto shooters, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging support.

For the unaware, another brand from Transsion Holdings, Tecno has also launched its first 5G smartphone in the country for Rs. 19,999 and it will be available on Amazon from today. The newly launched Tecno Pova 5G device MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, 6.9G FHD+ Dot-in display, and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Tecno Pova 5G comes with a 50MP camera along with an f1.6 aperture. Also, the smartphone has a 16MP camera at the front selfie. Furthermore, the device has been launched with a 5,000mAh battery.

Infinix Zero 5G Expected Price In India

It is worth noting that the company has not announced the price of the smartphone, but it is expected to be available under Rs. 20,000. Apart from that, the company has recently announced that it has joined hands with Reliance Jio to 5G trials. So, we can also expect that Infinix might introduce some bundle offers with Jio for its Zero5G smartphone.

Airtel Xstream Premium has announced the launch of the OTT platform in India. The newly launched OTT services will have content from 15 Indian and global platforms like Eros Now, Shorts TV, SonyLIV, and more. Besides, the platform is expected to provide more than 10,000 movies and TV shows on only one platform.

5G Network In Final Stages Of Development, Says Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

The 5G network is expected to be available soon in the country as the rollout of the upcoming services is on track. Besides, India is participating in the development of the 6G standards, said Union Minister for Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday at India Telecom 2022 business expo.

“The country has also developed its own indigenously developed 4G core & radio network. The 5G network is also in its final stages of development. The country is participating today in the development of 6G standards, in the thought process of 6G,” he said.

This development comes soon after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that spectrum auctions will be conducted in the coming months.

“Spectrum auctions will be conducted in 2022 to facilitate the roll-out of 5G mobile services within 2022-23 by private telecom providers,” Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced while Union Budget 2022-23 speech.

She said that both 5G services and the telecom sector will create job opportunities. “A scheme for design-led manufacturing will be launched to build a strong ecosystem for 5G as part of the production-linked incentive scheme,” FM Sitharaman said.

In addition, the government announced that 13 metro cities will be getting 5G services in 2022. i.e. Jamnagar, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Ahmadabad, and Gandhinagar.

BSNL Launches Rs. 197 Plan: Offers 300 GB High-Speed Data

BSNL has launched dozens of plans in the country. This pack comes after telecom operators increased the prices of their prepaid plans. Notably, BSNL has not increased prices but received attention from customers due to its affordable packs and offers.

In fact, the state-run telecom operator has again announced new benefits and offers with a new pack of Rs. 197. This pack offers data and calling benefits. So, let’s find out the details of the newly launched pack.

BSNL Rs. 197 Plan: Details

The Rs. 197 plan is providing free messages, 2GB of data per day, and unlimited calling for 150 days. However, there is a catch. As users will get benefits of this plan for only the first 18 days from the actual date of the recharge; however, the speed will be decreased to 40Kbps.

In addition, unlimited calling also applies to unlimited calling as users will get a benefit for 18 days only. Notably, the pack is valid for 150 days, but after 18 days users have to go for top-ups, which means this is a long-term plan and it is designed for those who are using data benefits regularly.

Government Infusing Money

Meanwhile, the government announced that it will be infusing Rs. 44, 720 crores into the state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in the next financial year. “The provision is made for capital infusion for 4G spectrum, technology up-gradation and restructuring in BSNL,” the explanatory note in the document said.

In addition, the government will invest Rs. 7,443.57 crore in BSNL for a voluntary retirement scheme and Rs. 3,550 crores for GST payment. As per documents VRS will be for both BSNL and MTNL. The GST will be offered to the BSNL for clearing GST of the allocation of the 4G Spectrum.

Jio Platforms today invested that it has invested $15 million in Two Platforms Inc. The Two Platforms is an artificial reality firm that aims to build immersional and interactive experiences. Budget 2022: 5G Services To Be Available In 2022-23

Even though telecom operators are looking for extra time to conduct the 5G trials, the government is all set to auction the spectrum this year. However, the mobile services will be only available in 2023, which means Indians have to wait a long to use the 5G devices.

“Spectrum auctions will be conducted in 2022 to facilitate the roll-out of 5G mobile services within 2022-23 by private telecom providers,” Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced during her Union Budget 2022-23 speech.
