The company had listed the device earlier at its official website confirming its arrival in the Indian market. However, Samsung had not announced the pricing of the Galaxy A73 5G back then. After almost a week, the pricing of the latest premium Samsung Galaxy A phone has been confirmed.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is announced at an asking price of Rs. 41,999. The company has set this price for the base model that packs 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The Galaxy A73 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration is priced at Rs. 2,000 higher at Rs. 44,999. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G colour options include Awesome White, Awesome Gray, and Awesome Mint.

Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy A73 5G’s sale on April 8 in India. The first sale will commence at 6 PM IST in the country via Samsung India’s official website. The premium Galaxy A series 5G phone will also be made available via other online and offline retail stores in India.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G Full Specifications And Features In India

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is packed with the Snapdragon 778G octa-core chipset. It is last year’s premium mid-tier Qualcomm gaming chipset that supports Adreno 642L GPU and up to 8GB RAM. The Galaxy A73 5G features up to 256GB built-in storage capacity that can be further be expanded using an external microSD card.

The Galaxy A73 5G features a massive 6.7-inch sAMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup offered by Galaxy A73 at the back includes a big 108MP main lens combined with a 12MP ultrawide sensor and a pair of 5MP sensors for macro and depth shots.

For reference, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A52s 5G’s base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model at Rs. 35,999, while the top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration at Rs. 37,999.

With the latest price cut, the Galaxy A52s 5G with 6GB RAM can now be purchased at Rs. 30,000. The 8GB RAM will now be selling at Rs. 32,499 in the country. As for the color options, the Galaxy A52s 5G comes in four shades including Awesome White, Awesome Violet, Awesome Mint, and Awesome Black.

It’s worth mentioning that the price cut is currently not updated on Samsung India’s official website. However, we can expect the company to make the changes in the Galaxy A52s 5G’s pricing soon. Also, the same price cut was announced on both Galaxy A52s 5G models was announced back in January. But that was a limited period discount offer. It can’t be said if the latest Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G discount is permanent or temporary.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is a premium mid-tier phone that is driven by the Snapdragon 778G processor. Moreover, it seems to be a flat-edged frame that the Galaxy M53 5G adorns. No design change upfront.

The Galaxy M53 5G also has the same centrally-aligned punch-hole camera cutout and a narrow-bezel profile; much like the Galaxy M52 5G. The right panel has both volumes as well the power key. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner remains intact here as well. The new design language opted for by the company is definitely a welcome approach.

Thanks to the leaks and benchmark website listings, we are also aware of the Galaxy M53 key features. Samsung is making some changes in terms of the hardware compared to the Galaxy M52 5G. One of the major hardware differences would be the Galaxy M53 5G’s chipset.

While the previous-gen model, i.,e, the Galaxy M52 used a Snapdragon series chipset (Snapdragon 778G SoC), the Galaxy M53 5G will be packed with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. Performance-wise, the Snapdragon 778G processor is slightly more powerful compared to the Dimensity 900 SoC. It would be interesting to see if Samsung keeps the pricing of the new model on the lower side by using a slightly downgraded chipset compared to the last variant.
