But the mid-tier segment has got multiple new players with 5G network support. The Oppo Reno7 5G is one of the latest phones which is launched for the mid-range audience and is one of the strongest rivals of the iQOO Z6 5G. Both iQOO and Oppo are known for packing their devices with high-end displays. The iQOO Z6 5G features a 6.58-inch display that has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and supports 1080 x 2408 pixels FHD+ resolution. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has an in-display camera cutout for selfies and video calling.

The higher refresh rate makes it suitable for good gaming feedback, while the 1080p FHD+ resolution makes it suitable for binge-watching shows. The Reno7 has a slightly bigger panel which measures 6.4-inches. The Oppo Reno model also offers an FHD+ screen resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. But Oppo has used an AMOLED panel instead of an LCD.

The iQOO Z6 5G sports a triple rear camera module with the primary sensor being a 50MP lens with a 1.7 aperture. Accompanying the primary sensor is a 2MP sensor for macro shots and another 2MP sensor for depth effects. The camera setup is good for general shots, while for low light imaging it features dedicated night mode.

The Reno7 5G offers better camera hardware both at the rear and front when compared to the iQOO Z6 5G. Oppo has used a 64MP main camera and combined it with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. A bigger primary sensor along with the ultrawide angle lens would allow the Reno7 to capture better images. The iQOO Z6 5G has a 16MP selfie camera while the Oppo Reno7 5G features a bigger 32MP selfie snapper.

The iQOO Z6 5G features Qualcomm’s latest 5G chipset, i.e, the Snapdragon 695 SoC. This octa-core processor is built on a 6nm fabrication process and supports Adreno 619 GPU for high-end graphics. The Oppo Reno7 has the Dimensity 900 chipset which is also a premium mid-range chipset with 5G network support.

Performance-wise, both devices can take on most of the tasks easily. Both devices will also deliver good gaming feedback. The iQOO Z6 5G runs on a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The Reno7 5G also has a 5,000 mAh battery but the charging speeds are faster here with the 65W SuperVOOC flash charger.
