Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Certified Ahead Of Launch

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 has been certified by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). The listing has been spotted by noted tipster Mukul Sharma (@Stufflistings). In addition to the vanilla Galaxy Tab A9, the BIS listing also includes the Galaxy Tab A9+ model. Previously, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 also cleared its certification via TDRA. Notably, both certification website has confirmed the same SM-X115 model number.

The frequent listing of the Galaxy Tab A9 series of different mobile authentication portals is a clear indication that Samsung is gearing up for its launch. However, we are uncertain by when the Galaxy Tab A9 series goes official. Nevertheless, Samsung would be launching the new Galaxy Tab A series models in the Indian market as well. The same can be confirmed by the BIS listing.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Rumored Specifications

Unfortunately, not much has been revealed by the rumor mill when it comes to the Galaxy Tab A9 hardware features. Since the sighting of this tablet has been limited the spec-sheet is yet to be out entirely. From what the previous leaks have revealed, Samsung would be opting for the octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 mobile chipset to power the Galaxy Tab A9 model.

The entry-level MediaTek processor powering the Galaxy Tab A9 tablet will get Mali-G57 MP4 GPU support for graphics. While the RAM and storage details are under the wraps, we can assume up to 6B RAM and 128GB storage options considering this will be an affordable Android tablet. We can also expect Samsung to use a standard TFT or LCD screen inside the Galaxy Tab S9.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 tablet is said to offer both Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity along with standard Bluetooth, FM, and GPS connectivity support. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab A9 leaks have hinted at a smaller 5,100 mAh battery pack which will get 15W fast charging support.

Lenovo has launched a new P series tablet in India. The latest model comes in the P12 series and is called the P12. The standard Lenovo Tab P12 model will be placed below the existing Tab P12 Pro model and is priced under Rs. 40,000 in the Indian market. The key highlights of the new Lenovo Tab P12 tablet includes an FHD IPS display, a big 13 selfie camera, and a new Dimensity 7000 series chipset.

The Lenovo Tab P12 has been introduced with the MediaTek’s new mid-range Dimensity 7050 chipset. The octa-core SoC has dual Cortex-A78 cores clocking at 2.6Ghz and siz Cortex-A55 cores wirg 2.0GHz clock speed. The Dimensity 7050 processor further gets Mali-FG68 GPU support for graphics rendering.

Xiaomi has introduced its new range of products in China including the flagship Pad 6 Max tablet, Mi Mix fold 3, and Redmi K60 smartphone lineup. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE in the European markets with mid-tier spec sheet. This model is packed with an 11-inch display which is an LCD panel similar to the first-gen Redmi Pad model. The screen supports a 2K resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Additionally, the panel offers a refresh rate of 90Hz and has a peak brightness of 400 nits. The Redmi Pad SE’s display is TUV Rheinland certified that helps the screen to cut down on Blue light emissions.

In terms of camera hardware, the Redmi Pad SE employs a single 8MP camera sensor at the rear panel. The rear camera of the new Redmi tablet is capable of recording 1080p videos @30 fps. Vivo has launched the Pad Air tablet in multiple configurations where the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs. 20,000). The Vivo Pad Air tablet with 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 8GB RAM+ 512GB storage have been launched at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 23.000) and CNY 2,299 (Rs. 26,000 approx.) respectively, while the top-most model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 2,599 (Rs. 29,732). Vivo will be selling the Pad Air tablet in China starting August 18 in China but has confirmed its availability in the global markets.
