Poco launched its first smartphone in India, the Poco F1, in the year 2018 and it became an instant hit. The Poco F1 was a mid-range smartphone and it was called the flagship killer. But now, Poco has come up with its real flagship smartphone in India. The company has recently launched the new Poco F3 GT 5G in India and in this article, we have shared with you the Pros and Cons of this brand new flagship Poco smartphone.

PROS

Amazing Design – The new Poco F3 GT looks stunning. It features a unique matte finish on the back panel along with some decals and subtle design elements that make it a good looking gaming smartphone. The Poco F3 GT 5G is available in India in two colour shades. They are – Predator Black and Gunmetal Silver.

Powerful SoC with 5G – The Poco F3 GT, just like most other flagship devices these days, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. This new MediaTek SoC is built on a 6 nm architecture and the chipset comes paired with the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. This chipset even supports 5G mobile networks.

Gaming-Centric Smartphone – The all-new Poco F3 GT is a gaming-centric smartphone. It gets impressive gaming-focused aesthetics that make it stand out from the crowd of other smartphones. It even features maglev triggers that might turn out to be very useful for gamers while playing games for long durations.

Immersive Display – The Poco F3 GT sports an impressive display. It features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels. It even gets a 120 Hz high refresh rate system and the display panel of the smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Massive Battery with Superfast Charger – The new Poco F3 GT packs a massive 5065mAh battery and it even gets a superfast 67W charger that comes bundled inside the retail box.

Decent Price – The Poco F3 GT has been launched in India in three variants. The base variant gets 6 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of Internal Storage and it has been priced at Rs 26,999. The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Internal Storage variant is priced at Rs 28,999 while the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB Internal Storage variant has been priced at Rs 30,999.

CONS

No 3.5 mm Audio Jack – The Poco F3 GT is a gaming-centric smartphone but sadly it misses out on a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Decent Cameras – The cameras of the Poco F3 GT aren’t that great. It features a 64 MP primary shooter along with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. At the front, it gets a 16 MP camera for selfies and videos.  

Only Two 5G Bands – The Poco F3 GT is a 5G flagship-grade smartphone. However, it supports only two 5G bands.

Brand Value The Poco F3 GT rivals the likes of the OnePlus Nord 2, Realme X7 Max 5G, Oppo Reno6, etc. At this price point, people prefer a smartphone from a premium brand but Poco lacks snob value.
