Redmi Pad Launched With Helio G99 SoC Launched, 10.61-Inch Display: Check Here Price, Specifications, And More

Redmi, a Xiaomi sub-brand, has announced the launch of its first tablet in India. The Redmi Pad is expected to be launched in other markets too. Notably, the Redmi Pad is priced under Rs. 20,000 and is expected to take on Moto Tab G62, Realme Pad, and OPPO Pad Air.

It is worth noting that Redmi Pad comes in three storage variants, a flat frame design, and an all-metal body. So, now let’s take a look at the specifications and other details of the tablet.

Redmi Pad: Price And Storage Options

The Redmi Pad comes to win three storage options such as 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of storage variants. These variants are priced at Rs. 14,999, Rs. 17,999, and Rs. 19,999. In addition, the tablet comes in three color options: Mint Green, Moonlight Silver, and Graphite Grey. The newly launched pad will be available from October 5th on Flipkart, Mi Home Stores, Mi.com on more.

Redmi Pad: Specifications

Under the launch offer, the Redmi Pad is priced at Rs. 12,999, while the 4GB variant will cost you Rs. 14,999, and the 6GB variant will cost you Rs. 16,999. Besides, customers will get 10 percent via bank cards on mi.com.

The Redmi tab comes with a 10.61-inch IPS LCD along with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has thin bezels and a front camera on the right side. In addition, there is a 15:9 aspect ratio, 2000 x 1200 WXUGA+ resolution, and 400 nits of peak brightness.

The tablet weighs 465 grams and is 7.05mm thick; however, it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone has an 8000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging, but users will get
22.5W charging brick.

The Redmi Pad comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor that is designed for a budget tablet. For the unaware, this is the first tablet that will have a 6nm chipset. In addition, the company said that it will have two major Android updates along with three years of security patches that run Android 12-based MIUI 13.

Moreover, the tablet has a 13MP camera on the front and an 8MP camera on the back that support document scanning. It has a quad-speaker setup, storage expansion up to 1TB, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 5.
