Panasonic Tab 8 HD Tablet Detailed Review

The Panasonic Tab 8 HD has an 8 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels providing seamless visuals. Watching movies and other colour accurate visuals will let you have a good experience. Narrow bezels on the sides are good, but the chin and the top feel disappointing. It provides readable texts and I good for people who are fond of reading.

It provides a decent experience for home entertainment purposes

Camera & Audio

The Panasonic Tab 8 has a basic rear camera of 8MP, which works fine for scanning documents, and it will let you capture crisp and clear photos. It has a LED flash that lets the user capture a picture in low light. Video recording is also available, which captures live moments of your life. The front camera is 5MP, which can be used to capture selfies and can be used for video calls and conferencing.

The Speaker is quite loud and can be heard from quite a distance. The 3.5mm Headphone jack is also provided with the same, that allows you to plug in your headset if you want to.

The camera and audio quality is decent and considerable for work purposes

Battery and connectivity

The Tablet is packed with a massive Li-ion 5100mAh of 19.38 Watt-Hours, and it will be enough to give a screen time of around 5.5 hours to 6 hours and long uninterrupted voice and video call sessions. It is suitable for people having work from home jobs and attending online work sessions.

The Panasonic Tab 8 HD supports Dual 4G LTE, which is missing in most of the tablets of this price range, and some don’t even support SIM. This has WiFi features that help in the superior connectivity experience. Bluetooth 5.0 and Hotspot features are included with the device. The USB cable provided with the travel adapter is the type-C which Panasonic needs to be really appreciated, as most Companies still provide the old USB to Micro-USB.

The battery provides good backup and the tablet has the required ports and wireless connectivity as well

The Tablet is powered by an 8x ARM Cortex-A53 900 MHz to 2.00 GHz (4 - 1.50 GHz, 4 - 2.00 GHz) Helio P22 processor, which is a decent processor if seen from the point of view of the price. Multi-Tasking and smooth animations can be expected from the same. The RAM is 3GB which might not be able to support a heavy workload, but the casual work of web browsing, handling documents, making spreadsheets and presentations can be done with ease. The product might lag a bit at times due to the old processor and the touch response being a bit slow. The tablet has a storage of 32GB and the biggest advantage available is that the storage can be expanded up to 512GB using an SD Card.

The tablet gives a decent performance but it could have been better with the updated operating system

The Tablet comes in a single colour option of black. It has a weight of 300g, which is quite lightweight compared to the tablets of the same price range and can be held easily without exhausting the arm. Regardless of the low budget, it has a metal body that gives a premium feel. The rear camera is located at the top middle area, with the flash beneath it. The tablet is equipped with a pre-applied Screen Guard out of the box. A TPU case is included in the box too.

Overall the tablet has a simple and decent look
