Intel Core i7 10750H Expert Verdict

3.5

Pros

  • It's ideal for gaming.
  • For gameplay and single-thread workloads, the boost clock frequency is great.
  • At 45W, it uses relatively minimal power.
  • It's still fairly new.
  • Overall, the gaming quality is great.
  • A CPU Cooler is included in the bundle, sparing you money.
  • A reliable hardware design

Cons

  • It's a bit pricey.
  • Base clock speed is slow.
  • A Robust Graphics Processor is Still Required.
  • Overheating and increased power consumption.

The Intel Core i7-10750H is indeed a 45 Watts CPU developed for laptops with more power. It's typically found in high-end laptops for gaming, multimedia artists, and professionals. In mid-2020, the Comet Lake-H Processor was released. It has six cores (12 threads) that operate at 2.6 GHz and can accelerate up to 5 GHz (single-core pace). The all-core Turbo speed is most certainly 4.3 GHz.

Most of the specifications are just like the i7-9750H, the 10750H's immediate forerunner. The current framework has various benefits over the earlier models: its Boost frequencies are greater, and the DMA controller can now properly serve ram configured at 2,933 MHz, an improvement from the previous model's 2,666 Megahertz limitation.

Passmark score

Passmark Score consists of 4 parameters: CPU, GPU, MEM and UX. The Passmark score of Intel Core i7 10750H is 12429 points.

Intel Core i7 10750H Detailed Review

GPU

Its 24 EU iGPU inside this i7 is rated at 350 Megahertz to 1,150 Megahertz. The Intel UHD Graphics 630 enables up to three displays with close to 4096x2304 at 60 frames per second, and also the built-in visual converter can accept AVC, HEVC, and well-VP9-encoded films, but just not AV1. To demonstrate the concept, at 720p resolution, it only operates at 17 frames per second (poor quality setting).

Summary

It is not a gameplay GPU because it is too slow to play major AAA games.

Structure

The Core i7-10750H is built on Intel's third-generation 14-nanometer technology, which is no more cutting-edge because AMD's Ryzen 4000 range mobile CPUs are built on TSMC's 7-nanometer methodology.

The hexacore processor supports a double DDR4-2933 RAM and Peripheral component 3.0 and USB 3 but lacks the expert elements found in the more expensive Core i7-10850H. A total of 12 Megabytes of L3 cache is available to both the Processor cores and the iGPU. Because the Intel 10750H is bonded to the board, it is nearly impossible to replace.

Summary

The i7-10750H is a step up from the 4×4 i5-10300H, with 6 processor cores.

Performance

In single-core evaluations, the median 10750H in our collection is as efficient as the Core i7-8559U and Ryzen 7 3700X. In contrast, multi-core research reveals the Processor comparable to the Ryzen 5 5500U and Ryzen 5 5600H. The i7 is powerful for any activity, including gaming, as of now.

Summary

Quite trustworthy in terms of performance.

Designed for Advanced Users

  • Designed for Advanced Users

Intel has targeted this chipset at high-end and specialist clients. The Core i7 processor provides faster and more powerful computational power and more consistent and reactive operation.

  • Turbo Boosting

The Core i7 uses Turbo Boost features more reliably to attain greater clock frequency.
