OPPO marked its entry in the premium Android tablet segment with the launch of the OPPO Pad last year. Following which, the company also introduced a mid-range option for the audience called the Pad Air. Now, OPPO is all set to bring the second-generation premium tablet called the OPPO Pad 2 after months of anticipation. OPPO has announced the Pad 2’s official launch timeline for the global market. OPPO Pad 2 Tablet Official Launch Date
The OPPO Pad 2 will be launched in the global regions on March 21, 2023. The next-generation premium range Android tabelet from the Chinese tech giant will be introduced alongside the flagship Find X6 series. OPPO has confirmed the launch schedule on the aforementioned date at 2 PM local time. OPPO has already started teasing the official launch via its social media handles. Currently the pricing details are kept under the wraps, but the details will be announced within a few days.

According to the reports, the new-generation OPPO tablet will be equipped with an LCD screen similar to the previous-gen model. The 11-inch display is said to offer 2000 x 2800 pixels screen resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate is one of the biggest upgrades that the OPPO Pad 2 will feature compared to the vanilla Pad variant. The screen wil support 500 nits peak brightness levels, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10+. The OPPO Pad 2’s display is unque as it offers a book-like experience with the large 7:5 aspect ratio.
Additionally, the OPPO Pad 2 tablet is expected to be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 mobile chipset. Just for reference, the recently launched OnePlus Pad also runs on the same mobile chipset as the OPPO Pad 2.

This means both these tablets will be competing directly for the top spot in the premium tablet segment. The pricing would be the primary factor that will decide the success. The RAM and storage variants are not confirmed just yet but we could atlease see an 8GB RAM+ 128GB variant.
OPPO will be shipping the Pad 2 tablet with a smart touch keyboard and gold stylus pen accessroies. This will make it a complete package for creative tasks. Lastly, a beefy 9,500 mAh battery is said to keep the lights running. The battery will get 67W fast charging support too.
