Starting with the budget OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, previous leaks hinted at Rs. 19,999 price tag for this budget Nord CE phone. Now, tipster Abhishek Yadav and Yogesh Brar have re-shared the Nord CE 2 Lite’s pricing details. This leak suggests there will be a cheaper Nord CE 2 Lite 5G model in India priced at Rs. 17,999.

This price is tipped for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The high-end variant which has 8GB RAM configuration will be retailing at the aforementioned price tag of Rs. 19,999. According to tipster Yogesh, the Nord CE 2 Lite will be available in blue and black color options.

Notably, the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G’s India price shared by tipster Abhishek is slightly different. The tipster suggests Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants respectively. It remains to be seen if OnePlus tags the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G’s base model priced at Rs. 17,999 or Rs. 19,999.

The OnePlus 10R India price is said to start at Rs. 38,999. Notably, the 10R is said to launch in two different models in India. One of the variants is said to feature 80W fast charging, while the other will feature 150W fast charging technology.

The OnePlus 10R’s 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage variant with 80W fast charging is said to come with the aforementioned price tag. However, the OnePlus 10R with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 150W charging support will be priced slightly higher at Rs. 44,999.

The Lava Probuds 21 TWS earbuds have a slightly bigger case and earbuds compared to the last year’s ProBuds 2 wireless earbuds. The oval-shaped case with a flat edge bottom adds to the classic appeal and also helps with its placement on the tabletop or any flat surface. You don’t have to worry about the case rolling down. Besides, the matte surface of the case feels premium to touch.

Flip open the case to see the large earbuds Contrary to a tiny or compact design, the earbuds are bulky with a big stem. Now, if you are a fan of audio accessories that aren’t prominently visible while using them then the Lava Probuds 21 might not be appealing to you. But if you are okay with a large-sized earbud and find them easy to wear then this could be a decent pair to consider.

The earbuds do offer a snug-fit form factor, but you’ll feel the heft while wearing them. That’s with the default eartips size. The Probuds 21 TWS earbuds retail box ships with additional ear tips and a USB Type-C cable. This budget TWS earbud also offers touch controls for power on/off, volume, and audio playback control.

It might take a while to get a hang of all the gestures, but the touch controls are not gimmicky. We found the Lava Probuds 21 TWS earbuds design to be practical for daily usage. However, the wearing comfort isn’t super great for prolonged usage. Lastly, the Probuds 21 TWS earbuds feature IPX7 certification that protects it from splash and dust.

Lava Probuds 21 Review: Audio Performance

Lava has packed the Probuds 21 TWS earbuds with 12mm dynamic drivers that produces ample punch in the audio. We have tested several budget TWS earbuds and the Probuds 21 seems to be a decent pair out of all. The audio delivery is fairly well here. While it’s not the most balanced sounding earbuds, the audio aspects doesn’t mismatch either.

You wouldn’t be disappointed if you are planning to buy the Probuds 21 solely for your daily music playback. The loud audio levels make it a perfect pair for the commute. But you might not be impressed with the clarity levels when you play audio at the loudest volumes. We found the sound output to be optimum at 60 – 70 percent.

The Lava Probuds 21 doesn’t come with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). However, this budget TWS earbud is integrated with in-house sound isolation and noise reduction technology that aids with passive noise cancellation. Besides, the snug fit rubber eartips also play a vital role in blocking the outside noises during music or audio playback.

What else impressed us? Well, that’s the minimum audio leak at peak levels. You can turn up the volume to the max without thinking twice if the person next to you might also jam along. That said for the music playback. Our experience using the Lava Probuds 21 TWS with gaming has been good. The Probuds 21 offers 75ms ultra-low latency for better audio feedback with gaming.

Lava Probuds 21 TWS Review: Pairing, Battery, Other Features

The Lava Probuds 21 TWS earbuds is equipped with Bluetooth v5.1 technology. This allows the earbuds to pair wirelessly with smartphones and other compatible devices such as laptops, tablets, PCs, and also smart TVs. The connectivity and pairing experience has been good. The pairing process is hassle-free. You don’t need to press any pairing key separately to initiate the connectivity processor.

Just take out the earbuds and you will see the LEDs blinking. That’s the indication that earbuds are in pairing mode. We experienced no issues while pairing the budget Lava earbuds with smartphones. The Bluetooth playback experience is also good. No intermittent audio while media playback.

Lava has used a 60mAh battery unit to drive the Probuds 21 TWS earbuds. The company claims an approx backup of up to 9 hours on a single charge. That’s with the extra juice offered by the charging case. Thankfully, the Lava Probuds TWS comes with fast charging support that refills the battery quickly. The Lava Probuds TWS earbuds also come with Google Assistant support which you can summon using the touch gesture on the earbuds.

Google has announced a new policy centered around the removal of third-party Android apps that supports call recording. The search giant is currently working on this new policy that is said to come in effect starting May 11, 2022. Notably, Google isn’t entirely killing the support for audio call recording on its platform but is rather modifying the Accessibility API for remote calling which will limit app developers from recording audio calls remotely.

The policy update post on the Google Play Console support page was initially reported by a Reddit user called NLL-APPS.

Who All Will Be Affected?

Google’s upcoming policy update that is said to come in effect starting May 11, 2022, will not allow apps from third-party developers to work around the Accessibility API to get access to call recording. Notably, Google already has been trying to block Android apps from recording calls or videos for privacy reasons.

The new policies will only restrict users from downloading third-party apps that support are asked permission for remote call recordings. If aby user’s smartphone has a built-in call recorder option as a part of the custom UI offered by the OEM, then there wouldn’t be any issues with the call recordings. For reference, Xiaomi’s MIUI OS comes with a built-in call recorder integrated within the dialer app.

Google has further specified that it is working on fixing all the loopholes with third-party call recording. Blocking the two-way call recording using wireless earphones or headphones will also be blocked once the new privacy policy comes into effect.

How Can You Record Calls On Android After Google Privacy Policy Are Updated?

As mentioned above, once Google makes updates its privacy policy and makes changes to the Accessibility API’s, third-party apps for recording apps won’t be useful. The Mediatek chipset powering the upcoming Realme smart TV will have ARM Mali-G31 GPU and 1GB RAM support. The new Realme smart TV is said to come with up to 8GB of internal storage. Realme has not specified which Android version this new Smart TV X FHD will be launched with.

Also, it is yet to be confirmed if the new budget Realme smart TV will feature digital voice assistant support including Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri. The Realme India website also confirms a quad-stereo speaker system for the Smart TV X FHD. This smart TV will also have Dolby audio support and a total audio output of 24W.

OnePlus has scheduled the official launch date for its next-generation smartphones and TWS earbuds on April 28 in India. The upcoming launch has been announced by OnePlus itself. Notably, a fresh leak by tipster Paras Guglani on Twitter has shared details related to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite’s India pricing. According to the leak, the Nord CE 2 Lite India price will be Rs. 19,999. The tipster has also suggested the budget Nord CE phone’s first sale on April 30 in the country. Looking at the prices, it can be said that the Nord CE 2 Lite would arrive as the cheapest yet OnePlus smartphone in India.

Until now, OnePlus’s cheapest smartphone range has been under Rs. 25,000. It would be the first time OnePlus will be targeting the sub Rs. 20,000 price category in the country. Certainly, other prominent Chinese smartphone OEMs such as OPPO and Vivo will get some stiff competition in the coming week.

As for the OnePlus 10R India pricing, the rumor mill has a few details to share. But we expect OnePlus could launch the 10R in India within Rs. 40,000- Rs. 45,000 price range. This is our speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt.

The OnePlus 10R will be a premium range Android smartphone that will be the first Dimesnity 8100-Max processor which is based on a 5nm fabrication process with 5G network support. The octa-core MediaTek processor has a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU and a clock speed of 2.85GHz. OnePlus has also confirmed a super fast 150W charging and 120Hz display. The camera details are yet to be revealed by the brand but we should soon come across some information.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Expected India Specifications

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite has leaked on numerous occasions. This budget OnePlus smartphone is also likely to debut with a Dimensity series processor. The Nord CE 2 Lite is rumored to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main lens.

The Nord CE 2 Lite’s display could be an FHD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera cutout for a 16MP selfie camera.
