Escobar Malware: What Is It?

The latest Android malware targeting users across 18 different countries has been reported by BleepingComputers. As per the report, Escobar isn’t entirely new spyware, rather it’s an older trojan virus with a new name. This is primarily a banking trojan virus that targets Android users and steals their confidential details.

The Escobar trojan virus was earlier infecting Android devices as Aberebot malware. However, along with the new name, the malware is also said to have grown stronger. The advanced Escobar malware now collects crucial user information including SMS, call logs, notifications, and Google Authentication codes.

This malware getting access to the Google Authentication codes is definitely a concerning situation for the users as it allows them to get a hold of the users’ private details. Notably, the aforementioned user details that is collected by the banking trojan are uploaded to a C2 server. Currently, the exact source or the country of origin of the Escobar malware remains unspecified.

The only available information is that this new Google malware has targeted users in 18 countries by far. As many as 190 different financial institutions have been impacted by the latest malware.

The company also takes strict measures to keep the Play Store protected and also timely removes these threats from its platform. Samsung Galaxy A33 Massive Leak Leaves A Little To Imagination

Samsung is hosting a special Awesome event where the brand is launching a bunch of Galaxy A series smartphones. The Galaxy A33 is one of the handsets which is expected to be announced during the event. A new leak by noted tipster Evan Blass has revealed this upcoming handset’s renders, while another leak has shared details related to the key features.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 leaked renders show three color options including black, golden, and ice blue. The front panel of the handset is seen with narrow bezels all around. The back panel has a single-tone finish with a big vertical camera module that is seen housing four sensors and an LED flash.

The leaked render images show the volume keys along with the power key on the right panel. There isn’t a direct sight of the physical fingerprint scanner. This is an indication of the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner. The USB Type-C port and the 3.5mm headphone jack aren’t visible either as well. But we might get to see the usual bottom panel placement.

Samsung Galaxy A33 Rumored Features

The Samsung Galaxy A33 key features have been leaked by Appuals publication. As per the leak, the next Galaxy A series phone will be powered by an in-house Exynos processor. The chipset used would be the Exynos 1280 processor. Just for reference, the company hasn’t launched this chipset and the Galaxy A33 could be the first phone to feature this SoC.

The Galaxy A33’s camera setup will include a 48MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor that has 120-degree FoV and a 5MP macro sensor. The device will also have a 2MP portrait sensor. Additionally, the handset will feature a 13MP selfie sensor which will be packed inside a 6.4-inch display.

The panel packed will be OLED which will support 1080p FHD+ screen resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A33 will also have IP67 certification which will make it dust and water-resistant. The battery capacity tipped is 5,000 mAh which will probably support fast charging speed.

The report suggests the upcoming Oppo K10 India launch this month. The device will be launched as a successor to the Oppo K9. It will be a premium mid-range phone which will have 5G network support. Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared this information with the publication.

The tipster has reportedly spotted the Oppo K10’s Flipkart listing which hints at the upcoming launch. The Flipkart listing suggests more details related to the upcoming Oppo K series phone will be updated on March 16. We can expect the e-commerce retailer to reveal the launch timeline along with the key features. As per the publication, the device might debut this month in India.

Nevertheless, we haven’t heard any word from Oppo related to the upcoming Oppo K10 launch in India. But since the Flipkart listing has been leaked, there are possibilities the shared information is correct. We will share the updates once the company or the e-commerce portal or the company reveals.

As for the features and design, the rumor currently doesn’t have many details available. Only the upcoming model’s India launch is known. The hardware could be upgraded when compared to its predecessor. We are speaking of the Oppo K9 which was announced last year in China.

It can’t be said if the Oppo K10 will also feature a game-centric Snapdragon processor like the previous-gen model or the brand will switch to the MediaTek Dimensity series processor. OnePlus 10 Pro Indian Variant Configuration, Colors Revealed; Expected Launch Time, Features

OnePlus 10 Pro is all set to make its debut in the Indian market soon. The first flagship phone by the Chinese tech giant powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor made its debut recently in China. OnePlus might announce the official launch date of the upcoming flagship sometime soon. That’s considering the rumor mill has tipped the OnePlus 10 Pro’s launch this month itself. Now, an exclusive leak by 91Mobiles has confirmed the configuration and color variants of the OnePlus 10 Pro in the country.

OnePlus 10 Pro India Configuration, Color Options

The OnePlus 10 Pro is said to launch in the Indian market later this month. The flagship phone is likely to launch either on March 22 or March 24. Now, a new leak by noted tipster Ishan Aggarwal has now confirmed the configuration as well the color options. The handset will be available in three different configurations.

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s base model will be available with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, while the mid-tier model 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage configuration. The handset will also be available with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The color option tipped by the brand is Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black. It is worth mentioning that the handset has been launched with the same configuration and color options in the Chinese market.

Apart from the configuration and the color options, the other set of features will also be similar to the Chinese model. The device will be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor combined with the aforementioned configurations. The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G will be a 6.7-inch 2K Fluid AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched with a triple rear camera module with a 48MP primary sensor with an LED flash. The device will also feature a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 150-degree FoV and an 8MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
