Xiaomi’s Redmi Note smartphone lineup has been a trendsetter in the mid-range smartphone segment. The Chinese tech giant had introduced the concept of multiple camera sensors on Android phones with the first-generation Redmi Note series phone. Over the last few years, this lineup has been upgraded with newer and more powerful models. The Redmi Note 11 series announced this year in India has just been expanded with two new high-end models, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+.

Both these newly Redmi Note 11 series phones cater to different segments of the audience. The Redmi Note 11 Pro has been introduced for audiences demanding a good budget gaming phone, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is for users looking out for an affordable range 5G Android phone. How different are both devices in terms of design and features? Which one out of the two Redmi Note 11 Pro series phones would be the best buy for you? Here is a quick spec-sheet comparison between both devices to clear out your confusion:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Vs Redmi Note 11 Pro: Display, Design

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ have a similar design language. Both devices feature a slim profile with flat edges and a gradient panel with a vertical camera module that has one large sensor and remaining smaller lenses along with the LED flash. Only the color variants are different if we speak of design.

The display used by both Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is the same. Both units sport a 1080p FHD+ OLED display that measures 6.67-inches. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother frame transitions while gaming. The viewing experience wouldn’t be different on both smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Vs Redmi Note Pro: Chipset, Software

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ has been designed for an audience bent towards 5G smartphones. Xiaomi has tucked inside the Snapdragon 695 processor which is a new octa-core 5G chipset for mid-range phones. It is a capable processor which can handle most of the tasks smoothly. This variant has been announced with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.

On the other hand, the standard Redmi Note 11 Pro is powered by the Helio G96 processor. This is MediaTek’s octa-core chipset which is game-centric. While you can expect good performance feedback with regular tasks, it can also handle graphics-rich games without any issues.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Vs Redmi Note 11 Pro: What About The Imaging Setup?

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note smartphone lineup is well known for high-end cameras. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and the Redmi Note 11 Pro aren’t different in this case. Both devices have capable camera hardware that can give a good imaging experience. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ has three rear cameras with a massive 108MP main camera with an f/1.9 aperture. The main camera is combined with an 8MP ultrawide sensor with 120-degree FoV and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

The standard Redmi Note 11 Pro also has the same 108MP main lens as the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and also the additional 2MP depth lens. However, instead of an 8MP ultrawide sensor, the Redmi Note Pro has a 2MP macro lens. The cameras on both phones support 4K video recording and also support multiple shooting modes such as HDR, time-lapse, and slow motion. The photography experience would be good with both handsets. However, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will have an edge with wide-angle shots.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Vs Redmi Note 11 Pro: Battery, Fast Charging

Xiaomi has used the same battery setup on both smartphones. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are packed with a 5,000 mAh battery unit which can give a backup of over a day with light usage. Both smartphones also have 67W fast charging support that will allow for faster recharges.
