[Giznext Exclusive]: Oppo Find N Confirmed To Launch In Q1 2022 In India; But There’s A Catch

Oppo has just joined the foldable smartphone race with the Find N. The premium range handset by the company has been announced in China and is yet to be made available to the rest of the globe. Oppo has used the latest tech innovations to make design its futuristic smartphone. However, it hasn’t spilled any beans on the global availability of its first foldable smartphone. Thanks to Giznext’s sources, we now know

This Is When Oppo Find N Launching In India

As of now, there has been no timeline announced for Oppo Find N’s India launch. In fact, the availability of this handset in the country. However, some retail sources have confirmed Giznext that Oppo does have plans to bring its first foldable smartphone to the Indian shores as well.

But the device won’t be available on a large scale. It is said to be made available in a limited quantity in the Indian market. Our sources have further revealed that the company doesn’t intend to go in full-fledged with the Oppo Find N’s sale in India.

It seems that chipset shortage which has been delaying product launches globally isn’t the reason for Find N’s limited availability in India. The primary goal for the brand is to showcase its expertise with the latest technologies; specifically, the foldable smartphone tech which is still in the development phase and being improved each year.

Unfortunately, our sources have only confirmed the availability of Oppo’s foldable phone in India and not the expected launch timeline. But, we can only expect its availability in Q1 2022 in the country. We are trying to get more details on Oppo Find N’s India launch and will share all the latest updates on the same.

Oppo Find N Full Specifications, Features

The Oppo Find N will be arriving with the same design and hardware in India as its Chinese counterpart. The handset brings a foldable design based on a Flexion hinge to the table. It has a centrally folding design where the inner panel is a 7.4-inch LTPO with an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio and an aspect ratio of 8:4:9. This panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Oppo Find N’s outer display measures 5.49-inches. This panel features an aspect ratio of 18:9 and supports FHD+ screen resolution and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The foldable form factor is possible with the Flexion hinge. The foldable smartphone is driven by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The configuration available is up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM combined with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Find N’s imaging setup uses a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. It also features an additional 13MP sensor which is a telephoto lens.

Oppo has packed the Find N’s camera with loads of features to enhance the photography experience. 4K HD time-lapse, astrophotography time-lapse modes, slow-motion video recording, and night mode are a few to name. Keeping the lights on here is a 4,500 mAh battery which is aided by 33W SuperVooc Flash charge (wired fast charging) and 15W AirVooc flash charge (fast wireless charging tech).

Joker Malware Makes A Comeback; Over 500,000 Android Users Take A Hit

Smartphones have been a blessing in disguise for us all. As technologically advanced these handheld gadgets are, they equally are prone to different forms of cyber/phishing attacks. Despite numerous efforts made by tech giants, there is no respite from malware attacks on smartphone users. One of the most notorious malware targeting Android users is the Joker.

Google has been on a constant lookout for this malware and has removed multiple apps laced with this fleeceware from the Play Store. But it seems that the struggle to get rid of the Joker app is long term as the malware has once again been spotted at the Play Store inside a popular app that had over 500,000 downloads. Which is the latest app laced with Joker malware that you need to get rid of? Let’s find out below:

Joker Malware Spotted Inside This App On Google Play Store?

Back in September this year, Google had removed around eight new apps laced with the Joker malware from Play Store. This time only a single app is said to have been affected by the fleeceware. Called Color Message, the app has been available on the Play Store for a long and was downloaded over 500,000 times until now.

Thankfully, Google was able to identify the Joker malware disguised as the Color Message app on Play Store. The search giant has also removed the app from its platform making it secure for the users. The malware was identified by the researchers at Pradeo Security. The security researchers have also warned the users to immediately remove the app from their respective Android smartphones.

Google has already taken down this app from the Play Store. What’s concerning is that the Color Message app which was affected by Joker malware has been quite popular amongst consumers. The app was designed to deliver a fun typing experience with new emojis and fonts. The app was removed as soon as the researchers were sure it is laced with Joker.

This is not the first time a messaging app is reportedly taken down citing Joker malware infections. A few months back, apps like Auxiliary Messages, Fast Magic SMS, Super Messages, and Go Messages were pulled down from the Google Play Store due to the same reason.

For the unaware, the Joker Malware tricks the users by simulating clicks and intercepting messages. By doing so, the attackers can get the users to subscribe to premium subscriptions that are priced on the hefty side.

The optics aren’t much different either. While the Redmi Note 11 5G offers a dual-camera setup, the Moto G31 and the Moto G51 are equipped with a triple-lens camera module. However, the primary camera is the same on all three variants. You get to see a 50MP main sensor on the Redmi Note 11 5G, Moto G31, and the Moto G51 5G.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE Leaked Renders Reveals Design In Full Glory; Launch Expected Soon

Recently a OnePlus mid-range smartphone codenamed Ivan surfaced via leaks. It is now said to be none other than the OnePlus Nord 2 CE which is expected to launch sometime soon in India. The specifications of this next mid-range 5G phone were tipped via 91Mobiles. Now, the publication has shared another leak revealing the first look of the Nord 2 CE.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE Renders Leak Online

The OnePlus Nord 2 CE renders reveals the design from all angles. It is slightly different than the first-gen Nord CE. The new model will retain a punch-hole display design as its successor. The bezel profile is also narrow on all corners. The Nord 2 CE’s back panel has a vertical camera module placed on the upper left.

However, unlike the previous-gen model where all three sensors were regular-sized, this model features two large and one standard-sized sensor. The render images also show the placement of volume keys on the left panel and the power key on the right. Notably, the power key doesn’t seem to integrate a fingerprint scanner.

This indicates the Nord 2 CE might offer an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. However, this is yet to be confirmed officially by OnePlus. The bottom panel packs the USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The leaked renders also suggest two color options including grey and olive green.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE Specifications Also Leaked

The OnePlus Nord CE aka Nord Ivan’s specification was also tipped by the publications a few days back (in association with tipster Yogesh brar). The upcoming device will also be a 5G-ready handset as its precursor powered by the octa-core Dimensity 900 series processor.

It is said to be available with 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB storage configuration. The software pre-installed would be Android 12 OS topped with Oxygen OS 12 skin. The in-display camera cutout positioned at the center-top of the display is said to pack a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. Coming to the primary optics, the Nord 2 CE is rumored to feature a 64MP OmniVision primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The connectivity options will be 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi-, Bluetooth, dual SIM, and NFC support. Completing the package would be a 4,500 mAh battery aided by 65W quick charging technology.

Realme GT 2 Pro To Come Void Of Telephoto Sensor: Report

Realme GT 2 Pro is the next premium handset by the Chinese brand slated for a December launch. The handset is confirmed to be the company’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor-powered device which is expected to break covers initially in China. The handset has been popping up via leaks frequently and most of its features have including the camera have been tipped. Now, a fresh report has suggested some changes to the previously leaked camera hardware. Details are as follows:

Realme GT 2 Pro To Skip Telephoto Camera Sensor

The Realme GT 2 Pro recent leaks and rumors suggested a triple-lens camera module with a 50MP sensor. The imaging setup was also rumored to feature a telephoto sensor. However, a new leak by noted Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station suggests otherwise. According to the leakster, the Realme GT 2 Pro will rather be offering a 150-degree super-wide-angle sensor instead of a telephoto lens.

However, Realme hasn’t yet officially confirmed this report and it remains to be seen if indeed the GT 2 Pro comes void of a telephoto sensor. Besides, it has been long since the brand launched any premium handset with a telephoto sensor. The GT 2 Pro is expected to be the brand’s most high-end smartphone to date.

If in case the company is indeed skipping the telephoto sensor, it would come as a disappointment for the users expecting an additional telephoto sensor for imaging. If we speak of the previously leaked Realme GT 2 Pro’s camera specification then the handset has been leaked with a 50MP main camera combined with a secondary 50MP lens, and a telephoto sensor.

But now we will get to see the standard ultra-wide-angle lens as seen on most of the recent mid-range as well as flagship Realme smartphones. The tipster has only highlighted the changes in the camera specifications. The remaining features would likely be the same as tipped by the leaks.

Realme GT 2 Pro Other Known Features

The Realme Gt 2 Pro is known to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which is further tipped to be combined with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB storage. The device will also have 3GB virtual RAM support. Firmware tipped is Android 12 based on Realme UI 3.1.

We might see the Gt 2 Pro flaunt a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity tipped is 5,000 mAh aided by 65W fast charging tech. The rumor mill has suggested a December 20 launch date. But the brand is yet to make an official announcement on the same.

Milky Way’s Supermassive Black Hole Is Leaking; NASA’s Hubble Telescope Collects Evidence

Black holes have been one intriguing subject being researched over decades. Scientists and researchers all across have been closely studying the in-depths and are coming across some astonishing developments. A recent study on the supermassive black hole placed at the center of the milky way galaxy suggests it isn’t sleeping as we all believed. NASA’s Hubble telescope was able to collect evidence of the supermassive black hole leaking. But is this a big concern for us? Let’s find out what the latest studies reveal:

Super Massive Black Hole Leak: What All We Know

The latest study revealing a leak in the supermassive black hole placed at the center of the Milky Way galaxy has been published in Astrophysical Journal. According to the journal, multiple researchers have been closely observing the central black hole which emits blowtorch-like mini outflowing jets each time it swallows a star or gas cloud.

The team of researchers has explained how the black hole each time emits mini-jets similar to a gas cloud when it gobbles up something hefty. Geral Cecil from the University of North Carolina and lead author of the published study said, “The central black hole is dynamically variable and is currently powered down.” The outflowing mini jets are said to have the same trajectory as the black hole’s magnetic field.

The journal further reveals the Hubble Telescope has gathered sufficient evidence of the black hole seething following an outburst two million years ago. The data collected by the telescope shows an expanding know of gas is a narrow linear path around 15 light-years away from the black hole. That’s not it, the team conducting the study also got their hands on the infrared images of inflating hot has bubbles aligned to the jet.

Co-author Alex Wagner Of Tsukuba University Japan stated, “The streams percolate out of the Milky Way’s dense gas disk. The outflow creates a series of expanding bubbles that extend out to at least 500 light-years. This larger soap bubble structure has been mapped at various wavelengths by other telescopes.” Wagner further added, “Our central black hole has clearly surged in luminosity at least 1 millionfold in the last million years. That sufficed a jet to punch into the Galactic halo.
